✓ Full of surprises once you try itI recently purchased Saga Mini World and my daughter absolutely loves it. She has a lot of fun and if I let her she would love to just play for hours. I was so happy to see that Saga Mini released a Saga Mini School. My daughter is 4 and although it’s great for her to have free play in Saga Mini World i was always hoping that she could enjoy the graphics and amazing features that come with Saga Mini App with the added bonus of learning in the process. I am currently using the one day free trial and my daughter loves it so much. She alternates between Saga Mini World and Saga Mini School. I will purchase the yearly plan because I think there is a lot more that will be on offer in the coming months. I will do a further review once more content has been added. I would recommend it to parents who want their kids to learn at a manageable pace in a fun way and without them even knowing that they are learning..Version: 1.2

✓ Most appropriate for kidsWe always feel comfortable when our toddler plays this app, and she has so much fun while gaining knowledge and new skills with each game. From letters to numbers, and learning about animals and real-life things like grocery shopping and money, there is plenty to do, and as a parent, I enjoy playing along (can’t say this for many other kids’ apps). We look forward to the updates, and I love that the game is always evolving. Cute, colorful, safe. The world of Sago Mini is a treasured part of our daughter’s childhood. ✓ Overcharged a littleMy daughter loves everything sago mini and Toca boca. We had sago mini world on a monthly subscription, but we switched to this for a while. When I logged in, it said I could get the annual subscription for $30. Well it gave me a 7 day free trial but then charged me $40. I guess it’s still a discount from the full price, but it’s a little disappointing..Version: 2.5

We only have 1 kid and it didn’t make sense to us to get them accustomed to computers so early in life (1 - 2 yo). However, our child’s grandmother gifted her a tablet (against our wishes), but upon finding Sago (as well as Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar learning app, among others), we began to feel grateful for this company. Whether home sick, at a waiting room, long commutes, or on bad weather/ long, tiresome days, it truly helps to have this game available to our little one. As parents we all need that little break and this game provides that without compromise of our parenting beliefs/ goals. What stands out to us is the non-overstimulating colors and sound effects. It is surprising how many kids games are available nowadays, yet the vast majority are obnoxious, overstimulating and provide little to no educational benefit. Enter Sago Mini School. The calming color palette, super user friendly responsiveness without lagging. Last but not least, the content. These apps have been designed and tested with consultations from child psychologists, teachers and the like - and it shows! ✓ PhenomenalI thought Sago Mini World was awesome (and it is), but the school app is another level up. It is so engaging and so educational. My favourite part is the books that are embedded in the subjects. The pages are read aloud and the words highlighted as they are read. The kids can also tap the words to “read” them again. Another fun thing is they can change a word, in some cases, to change what happens in the story. That’s just one small slice of the awesomeness in these games..Version: 2.1

I feel like it’s quite basic, not much to do on it and don’t see there being many educational aspects - I do think there could be more for the price! It is educational to an extent there’s just nowhere near enough on it. I will be cancelling before the end of the free trial as I can’t justify it being worth the money there isn’t enough educational content and Sago Mini world is far better, worth the money and has enough content to keep my children busy for hours. She becomes so engaged in all the different activities and seems to really be learning a lot. As a teacher, I really didn’t want her stuck on the iPad too much, but this is one app I feel good about letting her explore on her own when I am occupied with the baby or with help from us. I am a kid. So for the sake of many rainbows app I want the app picture to be the Robin character but RAINBOW!!! ✓ Great game made by great people!A few years ago one of the people that worked on the sago mini apps visited my school on career day. They were really nice and explained a lot about the game and the industry. While I didn’t know it then, speaking with them on that day helped me decide that I want to make games in the future. The game and presentation was so cute that to this day I still have the sago mini stickers they handed out. They love the characters and I hear the names so much that it’s almost like Harvey and Jinja live here with us too. Thanks for what you guys do at Sago.
