✓ AnnoyingI got this app to read “All Of The Little Things” since it got deleted on Wattpad. I just gotta say, this app is horrible! you get endlessly left on cliffhangers since you have to pay money, (which is such a scam.) the app is very buggy, and the FREE VOUCHERS. You can unlock a chapter with free vouchers, yet it’s so difficult too since there’s no button for it. I wish this App removed the coins or whatever so I could read in peace! I honestly don’t recommend this app..Version: 3.4.3
✓ WriterI’ve written for this company…and it’s not been the experience I’ve wanted. First, my editor deleted most of my chapters and told me she would add them daily. (It’s been over a week). She changed my cover without asking saying it’s for better reviews. I found later that the picture being used is copyrighted…I believe the editors are untrained and inexperienced. I’ve found my book to be not as edited as I would have expected from an editor. I had to break my chapters up because you only allow so many words per chapter. You way overcharge for books!!! ✓ Poor Customer serviceApp requested an updated. After allowing the update the app would not open. When I finally got it open my reading history and purchase history with remaining coins was deleted as if I had just opened a new account. I reached out to customer service through the app. After sending proof they said they would restore my reading history but it has not been restored. I spent money a lot of money with them and now customer service won’t even respond to my concerns as a paying customer. They insist that I signed in with the wrong account but it’s something wrong with the app. The novel I’m reading is awesome but it’s like the app reset my account. ✓ It’s okI like to read a whole book. The stories are good. I have been enjoying reading. I would like to search for completed stories, but I couldn’t find an option. The last thing that is most disappointing are the mistakes. So many. I found many times I would get confused as to what is going on. The story would repeat a paragraph from a previous paragraph. So I would get lost sometimes. Some mistakes don’t bother me. There were allot. I did enjoy the story though. I would like to read a whole book by being able to search for completed stories. Again she just said I opened a new account. Also don’t bother looking for a book under genre cuz they’re all mixed up. ✓ The worst app everThis app is the worst app ever. I don't know who is the writer but their writing skill is worst then 4 grader. So many mistakes as vocabulary, grammar. The writer keeps dragging you from chapters to chapters with no conclusion. The worst thing is you even don't know when the book is done. ✓ Ridiculous Costs!The book I’m reading, although interesting and captivating, has 459 chapters!!! Each chapter costs 31-39 vouchers to open. Vouchers cost $5.00 for around 200 vouchers. ✓ Costly & WastefulYou’ll end up spending $100’s buying coins to read to these books & sadly most the of books are not completed &/or go months without updates & some just stop after 100’s of chapter you’ve spent ridiculous amounts of money on the author just abruptly stops writing. You contact NovelCat about the issues & nothing is ever done about nor are you refunded the money you’ve spent on that book thus far …. Also the updates for these books are just so sad lol one to four chapters a day for some of you lucky while others go says or weeks some times months just for a single chapter update. Some books when you read the comments are going back over a year sometimes two & yet the book is still far from completed!! For example, pronoun usage is incorrect ( he is used for a female and she is used for a male). The grammar is incorrect in many sections. ( horrible grammar!!!). A book would probably cost you 60+ dollars. With that being said, I decided to pay anyway because I found something I liked and I was willing to pay for it. My thing is these books are usually not completed and I’ve been waiting for weeks and weeks for updates. When I contacted them to see if the book I’m reading will update soon all they said was just wait because the author needs time for great ideas. But in their advertisements it stated that books are updated weekly. If I knew these were incomplete books that probably would never finish...I would had bought a different book and not had started that one at all. ✓ Got roped into downloading app with false advertisingDownload the app after finding a book I was interested on their website. The book said it was finished. On the website it also said download the book for free, so I downloaded the app for the book. Once I clicked on it, it said 21,653 coins (10% off) for all chapters. For that many coins I would need to pay approximately $70.00. How is that free? I also just noticed on the app that the book now says ongoing, so $70 for a book that is not even completed!.Version: 3.1.0
✓ Too expensiveI was spending my money buying coins because you have to pay for books so I thought might as well pay for this one too, but I realized books often have over 1000 chapters! To unlock them all it would costs over $50!!!!! ✓ DodgyThis site is dodgy. To open chapters you have to pay for them. Once the book is completed if you go back to read it again it asks you to pay again. If I have paid once then there is no way I should have to pay to read it all again. Found an alternative to that book and can read for free without app. I would NOT recommend this app. It would be nice to purchase the entire book however you are lucky to read two chapters a day. ✓ I’m Not BuyingI came over because I saw an ad on Facebook. The Trilogy of Love and Marriage, it’s actually a pretty good story minus the overuse of exclamation points. But I only got to Chapter 26 because after that you have to pay. The chapters are short and there are over 100 chapters. And I believe you pay for time to read each story, I’m not a speed reader so that’s going to cost me a lot of money. I’d be better off reading Inkitt or the free stories on Wattpad. ✓ Poor customer serviceI’ve spent prob close 500$ on this app to read books, I’ve put up with chapters costing double what other chapters and then half completed books being released and failling for them only to be stood up half way threw the story with no updates in 2 months time, when brought to the attention and asking for reimbursement for my purchases on that book, so that I can purchase a different book chapters I was told they cannot reimburse or hold the author responsible for their scam writing of a book, the app has great books like My billionaire Mother and the richest Daddy who I’ve put a ton of money towards their books, this is an expensive app that doesn’t hold their authors accoutable or treat their customers with respect..Version: 2.1.1

✓ I gave only one starThe reason I gave the one star as I was enjoying reading a book. I did the update and before the update had payed a lot to read the book. Since the update I can not get back to where I was in the book unless I pay more. Feeling very angry! What a joke I was reading somewhere in Chapter 400 and they have now given me up-to chapter 60. I also still should have enough precharge to read at least up too chapter 500 or probably further! What a bigger joke! Now with another update it will not even open.......grrrrr......just wanted to finish reading the book!.Version: 1.3.1
✓ DisappointedI recommended so many friends and family members to this app I’ve spent thousands of dollars reading stories a lot of them are very disappointing especially the translation and uploading chapters it is ridiculous if a book has over 1700 chapters and it takes a translator or an author to upload one chapter a day who in the world have time to read one chapter a day in a story. ✓ Pure CrapThis app is pure crap. Paying for chapters as you go when there are 350+ chapters is ridiculous. The grammar is absolutely horrible and the names of the characters or locations don’t even remain the same through the chapters. Don’t waste any money or time on this!!! ✓ It’s really badThey entice you by few reads, then give you a bit more when you download app, chapters are in 800+ lol you’ve to pay to unlock chapters. You can tell that it’s teenagers amateurs writing in different languages like Korean or Chinese because you’ll notice the mistakes that didn’t get translated like name, places etc. they’d get an editor to check the translation so that the broken English is not so apparent.
