✓ No French languageNo French …. Only English ! Not worth it.Version: 5.0.0
✓ Workbooks Will No SyncBought some workbooks and then put them away for a while. The subscription is expired. What garbage. Don’t waste your money. The workbooks should work, until your kid finishes them. They should not expire at some arbitrary date. Also, this app has no ability to family share, which is a huge bummer for us, as we recently upgraded to a 10th generation iPad, which of course BYJU does not support. Do not waste your money on this failing company..Version: 5.1.1
✓ Poor appI have been trying to download the app for sometime. It seems I have great internet and app doesn’t want to download. Another discouraging factor is the high price when one has two kids in the same grade and having to purchase 2 identical sets. I think the old fashion copy and give sheets is by far the way to go for this single mom. I thought it sounded fun for kids but unless you have money to burn I wouldn’t waste my time. App seems to have glitches cost too high for most people and really not that impressed w Osmo customer service either..Version: 5.0.0
✓ BadI got this app as a joke after many amoung us adds. When I got into the app I was asked to pay a hefty subscription of $80 US. From what I can tell It’s just any other learning app but with Disney characters. Which parent wants to pay this much for a bad learning app? ✓ BofJ’ai acheté le kit pré-k. Ma fille s’amuse bien avec le jeu et elle trouve ça amusant. Elle apprend des choses ce qui est bien. Par contre, après plusieurs semaine où elle n’a pas joué ou ouvert l’application, je ne suis plus en mesure s’ouvrir l’application….toujours en mode loading! ✓ Completely unworkable app from 90’s.I have excellent experience with OSMO during last several years. But I was really surprised with new player BYJUS collaborated with OSMO and Disney. Application is completely unworkable. Standard procedures like registration, authorization work like in 90’s. Video has low resolution. Workbooks are impossible to content to app. Etc. Official instruction from BYJUS “if app is frozen during start - delete and reinstall app” - but today is 2023, not 90’s! ✓ Needs Improvement’sI bought the whole workbook set and the app will not load for the workbooks. All the other sections of the app are working just not that one. They work before but it they did an update to it and now the page just freezes on the load screen. Not sure what else to do. I have tried it on the fire tablet and the iPad. ✓ Workbooks not loadingThings worked fine when we first got this for my son, but it has been completely unusable the last several times we’ve tried to use it. Trying to load “Workbooks” just hangs on a loading screen forever. Trying to explain this to an upset 4yo who just wants to learn has caused me completely hate this product. It is unbelievably overpriced for this garbage quality. There’s not even an error message, I’m left completely unable to do anything. I wish I could get my money back. ✓ Was great…. For about a weekMy son received his first kit and wool books for Christmas this year. Everything worked perfectly the first few times he used the app. But then the other day when I went to open the app, it wouldn’t load. Shows a purple screen then rather then go to the main menu, the screen goes black. I did nothing different, no settings were changed, it was the same workbooks. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works…. The whole point of these workbooks is to have iPad interaction. My ipad is compatible with the Byju’s learning kit… I have followed the instructions and set up a profile on the Byju’s learning app .. my problem is I can’t get the magic work books part to work… inside the magic work books they say to open the Byju’s learning app featuring Disney and tap the magic workbooks icon to begin … the problem is there isn’t a icon that says “ magic workbooks “ anywhere on the app… I’ve picked through the app for hours .. ✓ Cannot Connect Magic Worbook or Osmo to my IPad 9th GenerationI have tried to connect Magic Workbook and Osmo to my son’s IPad 9th generation. The app doesn’t show the magic workbook icon. The ipad software is updated. I’ve uninstalled the app, restarted the iPad, signed out and etc. There isn’t a direct customer service number or a troubleshoot guide. I need help! ✓ Love the concept but the Freezing needs fixedApp freezes after completing the coloring portions in the workbooks. I have to close the app and restart the program which nullifies the convenience of Jane. ✓ Beautiful EntertainmentThis is a beautiful and fun app, it’s useful to reinforce anything children have already learned, but it doesn’t actually help them learn something new. It’s like an interactive tv show that pauses while the children get the right answer. But it doesn’t actually clarify why something is right or wrong, the children can guess as many times as necessary and move on never knowing why one option was right or wrong. The words on the buttons aren’t read aloud either. So unless you have a fluent reader you need to be with the child the entire time they use the app. My son loves this app because it’s a lot more passive and doesn’t require him to think as much as other educational apps. Great potential, but will not purchase after our trial is over. (Husband is a teacher and we’re homeschoolers who wanted an app for our youngest) If you want an app that your child will love, that has stories that are read to them, and passive learning similar to preschool tv shows, then this app will be hours of fun. ✓ Too much like coco melonWe wanted to love this and we did until getting into the non Disney areas of the app.. the songs and characters are just like you hear in coco melon which is just a hard pass for our family. We tried the K and 1st grade levels.. not worth the money to have to cringe through all that.
