✓ Someone with a horrible sense of curiosityThis is okay, got horrible graphics, looks a bit like an old video game and you only get like 3 crime scenes for free, the rest you have to pay for by a subscription. But it killed a couple minutes of my life, teaches you about local murders and ones that are lesser known. Interesting idea in practice but needs some improving..Version: 1.3.3
✓ It’s so soI think it’s a good idea to have an app like this to help solve some of these awful minders. However you have to purchase if you want to see more. I did just that and I didn’t see anything from the Delphi murders that I couldn’t find on you tube or Reddit or even google. So I feel like this type of thing should just be free. Unless they are offering something much better. Sorry. I hate to be negative but I just feel it was a bit of a waste of money..Version: 1.4.4

✓ Almost as baffling as some of the crimesI paid $2.99 to unlock content and unlocked nothing whatsoever. ✓ Hate the updateWhy did you remove the daily posts now I see all the cases I’ve already read about and nothing new I preferred the previous way it loaded the search addition is nice but leave the daily uploads I don’t see any new cases I haven’t read yet and it’s frustrating because I used this app daily. And it’s in abc order terrible. ✓ Gratuitous and uncomfortableI am a true crime fan and have been for decades, and the idea of walking through crime scenes was beyond intriguing. What I was not prepared for was graphic 3D models of the real victims. While I understand this tool would be helpful for investigators/detectives, the average person does not need to find the body of a murdered child around a corner, bloodied bodies staged perfectly that you can walk right up to, or to see 2 murdered teenagers frozen in time with their murderer coming towards them- adding in that some scenes cost money to view is literally making a profit off of dead children. Beyond unnecessary and cruel to the families of victims. Chalk outlines or X-marks the spot should have been utilized instead for the deceased..Version: 1.4.3

I’ve tried several others, currently on another one..It’s just been spinning for probably 10 mins now. You would think they would be programmed in and not take long to load?!?! ✓ A tad disturbing you charge to see the placesIf you are trying to help, why charge? Why not sell to cops or cities instead and make this free to truly have a way to help people investigate? You could probably make way more money selling this to departments than getting pennies off here. Just seems like you are making money off of tragedy and it’s sad. ✓ Love the idea but it never loadsI’ve tried loading different crime doors (even have paid for multiple) and I’ve only had success opening ONE just one time. I’ve tried at least 25 times and each time it just never loads. So, for one, I’ve wasted money and two, it’s really disappointing because I love the idea and would like to use it for research and cannot. Hoping the bugs get fixed soon!.Version: 1.4.4

✓ Stop forcing the update!!It is not always convenient to update. When you lock out the app and force the user to update that is about your convenience not about customer service. Let your customers use the app and content they have paid for and update when they chose! And after the update the app keeps crashing!!! I can’t even contact support because it crashes! How about you worry more about fixing the crashing problem than forcing updates that haven’t had proper QA!.Version: 1.6.0
✓ Want to use and pay forLike some others I paid to subscribe as soon as I heard this existed. But I got a refund right away because the Crimedoors never loaded on my phone. I thought it was because my phone was old but now I have a new one and I still can’t reliably view anything on the app except the home page and (most of the time) the “read more” text. A lot of times that doesn’t even load. I guess it’s my internet in Western Mass, but from reading the reviews it sounds like bandwidth problems are an issue. I use it as a crime-specific update feed at this point. I’d love to be able to use and pay for the Crimedoors but I don’t know where I need to live or what device I need for that to be feasible. App is probably too good. I really wish there was a companion website for the text and photo/video content..Version: 1.7.21
✓ So much wasted potentialThe idea of this game is amazing, but the whole set out is awful. It’s so hard to manoeuvre the camera and I wish you could just use controls to walk into the crime scene instead of having to walk around in real life. I also went premium so I could play all the doors but like more than half won’t load!! Fix the glitches and make the game play more user friendly and you’ve got an amazing app which I would be happy to continue paying premium for..Version: 1.4.4

✓ Two words…John ListThis app is for the casual true crime fan. I’ll give you an example. I live in New Jersey, and so I went to the map area to find true crimes near me. To my shock, one of the most infamous true crimes of the 20th Century happened 10 minutes from me, but is no where to be found on the app. John List. One of the most infamous family inhalators is not on the app. Sorry. I love the concept, but feel it needs more work and research..Version: 1.5.2
