In Bridge Constructor+ you have to prove yourself as an accomplished master bridge builder. Play 40 different levels, and build bridges over deep valleys, canals, and rivers. Stress tests reveal whether the bridge you build can withstand the daily stress of continual use from cars, trucks and, more recently, super-heavy tank trucks.

You can choose from a range of materials for each individual bridge, such as wood, steel, cables, or concrete pillars. Use the appropriate materials and stay within budget to build the perfect bridge. The choice of different materials means that there are numerous solutions and approaches and you can build each bridge in any number of ways – your budget is the only limit. And if you happen to run into a dead end, you can pick up valuable tips from the help system!

In the SlopeMania add-on you find yourself on the Tiltin Islands, home to three brand new islands where you'll even be building your bridges inside colorful grottoes! The 24 tricky, never-before-seen levels will have you using sloping lanes to overcome the massive height differences. The "Crazy Levels" are the real brainteasers and require out-of-the-box thinking and unusual solutions.

Visit the Choonited Kingdom island group in the Trains add-on, with a total of 18 new levels across three islands. Build massive bridges that can withstand the enormous weight of the two new vehicles on offer – a commuter train and a heavily loaded freight train. The idyllic and beautifully designed landscapes will make the heart of every railroad fanatic skip a beat.

✗ A bit of a shameSuch a great idea for a game and mostly very well executed. Great fun for a few levels and the in-game physics are very clever. But… The learning curve is far too steep. There are a few levels to ease you in and a few more to challenge you with what you’ve learned, then it suddenly requires you to have the knowledge of a structural engineer in order to continue. This is really frustrating - if it wasn’t for the extreme limitations on budget and materials, there may be more than one way to complete each level, but the clues and very suddenly the solutions, become essential for progressing. Suddenly, you will be in a situation in which only one, highly complex weight-bearing solution requiring irregular shapes is needed; one you’ll never think of yourself. It’s also a bit buggy - leaving, cancelling and restarting the app is often enough to sort it out but these bugs should be squashed. The team have done a great job here but it’d be good to have another look at the difficulty and to give a couple more possibilities (or a higher budget per level) so that we regular humans have a chance of enjoying this otherwise lovely game. ✗ Pretty unpolishedThis game has a few pretty annoying UI bugs and annoyances, foremost among them being that it tends to outright ignore clicks when attempting to change building materials. It's also not always entirely clear where your origin point is for your next piece, leading to frequent misplacements that have to be deleted and corrected. Also the game is constantly telling me that I've unlocked achievements but whenever I check the achievements menu I always have 0 unlocked..Promoted PawnVersion: 11.4
