✓ Best legal reference app. Period.I was initially hesitant about moving over to electronic resources for my regulation needs. I thought, I have hard copies of this and it's all on the web anyway. I'm so glad I decided to give LawStack a try - it's easy to use and kept up to date. It saves me so much time and headaches. ✓ Lot going for itI like this application a lot. It is fast and well thought out. Want I especially like and what I think puts it ahead of many of the other legal reference apps is the fact that it is "one-stop", so I don't have to have one app for each body of law and the additions are reasonably priced and easy to purchase on the fly from within the app and there is a wide selection of statutes and jurisdictions (although I would love to have the NYS PJI added, I doubt it can be done). I do have one criticism: the method of navigation has way too many steps. Each "book" has a separate page for each subdivision, i.e. in the FRE, one page for Articles, one page for the Rules within the Article and finally the actual text. I guess I am not so bothered by the getting there but this method makes jumping to various sections quite tedious as it requires a near round trip back and then forward again every time. I'm note sure what the solution to this problem would be, perhaps a one-third screen navigation panel on the left and a two-thirds text panel on the right? And make the navigation panel collapsible (or a popover) so the text can be viewed full screen? Come to think of it, that would be a perfect solution as it works like a charm in other iPad apps..Version: 0

✓ LawStackLawStack is turning out to be one of the most useful apps for my law practice. It allows the ease-of-use for obtaining selected state and federal statutes and regulations that the iPhone operating system is noted for. Previously I used PDF copies of statutes and rules in Good Reader as needed. This app is far more convenient. I understand that the developer is working on an iPad specific app, which will make the app even more useful. I am currently using it on an iPad as well as iPhone. Highly recommended..Version: 0

✓ Peace Officer and Love This AppI started using the Texas Law stack since 2011 and absolutely love this reference app. You can look up and find everything on the Texas Legislature’s web site but this is available and easy to use. Book mark and is always available even in bad connectivity spots. I wish our department would provide this for anyone that wants it but it is absolutely worth the yearly subscription price I pay and it has been an invaluable resource to help myself, and other officers and a few lawyers and judges too when a question comes up..Version: 9.682.20210927
✓ Amazing App!It makes your studying life so much easier (highlighting/bookmarking). The app is very convenient to use and it updates so often. The customer service is also outstanding! (Note: I had a bug that won’t allow me to download my purchased CFR). I emailed them, I got a response within minutes and they fixed the bug immediately. ✓ Excellent App, with only one thing preventing it from being great...As a practicing lawyer, I find this app invaluable. It has completely replaced 9 inches of books on my bookshelf. Only thing preventing it from being "great" and getting five stars is that the format of the rules, etc. does not include the bolding and indenting that make it easier to jump from section to section in things like the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. This makes a rule like Rule 26 incredibly dense and, as a result, more difficult to review..Version: 2.4

✓ Most practicalI've tried all the free Constitution apps except for one that is too large too download via wi-fi, and this is far and away the best. Searchable, adjustable font size, layout adapts to tiny screen ... resembles Kindle iPhone app. Would be five stars but for a minor navigation annoyances and slightly too terse Help section. ✓ Not just a great app but great service to boot!Decided to try as the idea of portable carry around law library was intriguing. Was not expecting much. I was completely blown away when I tried it.
