✓ Excellent For RiichiThis app is terrific for keeping score in Riichi Mahjong. I can understand being skeptical about paying for an app that does something as complicated and esoteric as scoring mahjong, but this app really nails it. The interface can be a little tricky, and you need to explore a bit to figure out exactly what to do, but otherwise it's perfect. You can enter what tiles were in your hand and it will be scored for you automatically. There's also a summary page that shows you the breakdown of how both the han and fu of your hand were calculated. And if that's not your thing, you can always just manually enter the amounts. The app is designed to track a whole Han-Chan and keeps track of everything from missed Riichi points to the current bonus round. There are also settings for some optional rules like forbidding open Tanyao. All in all, a really good app that covers everything, explains everything, and just works. ✓ Cool App... butFor the Japanese Scoring, there is no faint dora text in the concealed or exposed areas. Please fix this, as that really affects the score on many occasions. *** I see how to do dora now... ug.. not that intuitive. You have to tap on the tile that is on the board. I like how that works, but it could be much more intuitively designed. That said: This is a great App... This will allow me to play and teach how to play Mahjong. Thanks.
