✓ So much funThis app cracks me up. It has great artwork by Denslow, and just about anything you touch will make a sound and move. I love the poem and had a great children's book of this story when I was a kid. I was trying to remember how the whole poem went, and then found it in the app store. ✓ My 3 year-old daughter loves it!I purchased this app on Christmas Eve, and we only managed to get through about half of it. But now, a month later, my 3 year-old daughter asks to read "the Christmas book" on my iPhone several times a day. She just loves going through it herself, clicking on the characters and items that make noise and move. She'll sit there for a good 10-15 minutes before getting tired of it, which is an eternity for at toddler. This app is very well done, with beautiful artwork and lots of nice little interactive goodies to keep the kids engaged..Version: 1.1.1

As a 27 year old man, I still every 24th of December read the Night before Christmas. This year I took a chance and purchased this product instead of reading the traditional book that I have done for so many years. ✓ Quality, but for a priceAnd I'm not referring to the monetary price. My godmother (a huge fan of the classic poem) and I agreed that while the book was just as beautifully done as PopOut's Peter Rabbit, the illustrations could even be slightly frightening for young children. We further decided that this particular version of the story is best shown to slightly older children. Otherwise, the book is beautiful and I very much enjoyed it!.Version: 1.1

✓ Wonderful rendition of classicDenslow, the illustrator, drew this version of the tale in 1902, long before Coca-cola ads gave us the modern rendering of Santa Claus. For those of you who don't want anything other than what you're used to, don't buy this app; for the rest of us, it's a rare treat. The app works just as a pop-up book would have in 1902, only with the addition of sounds, and items that roll, pop, or jump across the page. i loved it, especially since I'm a fan of early 20th century art. I would recommend tihs for anyone who likes early illustration, Christmas stories, popup books, or who has children or grandchildren. This isn't a video game, people, and it's not supposed to be one. ✓ Gorgeous but FlawedI am torn, as this is our new favorite version of the story but unfortunately it takes up a very large space on my iPad-i have no idea how they got around this in the app store but the file size is nearly 4x what it states! Maybe for your average user with a 16 GB iPad this isn't a problem, but I am an educator with other specialized communication apps that are naturally space hogs, and your app puts them to shame with its ginormous file size. Fix this and you will have a winning app! I will likely have to uninstall this, as I am having trouble updating other apps due to this space hog, sadly. The story is beautifully done!.Version: 1.3

✓ OUTSTANDING!!!This book goes above and beyond, giving a customizable experience for the user. You can adjust the volume of background music. You can have it read to you by a deep-voiced pleasant male reader. You can choose to read it yourself, but in this mode, you can tap on each word to have the individual word read aloud. Also in this mode, when you touch the page, a subtle icon shows up at the end of the text, that when touched will trigger the reader to read the whole page to you. (no exiting to main menu to switch between styles... VERY nice!). Each page has many touch-points, sometimes more than a dozen, to trigger cute noises, true complex animations, and sometimes there are secret surprises, too (try tilting the screen sometimes...) Well worth the cost! I'll buy every single book this group produces in this manner!.Version: 0

✓ Night Before Christmas interactive "book"Wonderful app to read or have read to your children! It would have to be explained that the poem was written quite awhile ago and the graphics reflect that. I think as young as 4 years old may be appropriate--the parent must decide. But it can be read in different ways several times so worth the price. A nice gift maybe along with a big, nicely illustrated, hardcover version so they can continue to learn how to read, learn about poetry & storytelling, and thus, learn a bit about the evolution of the (English) written word. I can see where children would get carried away not in the story just making the sounds. I'd recommend reading a hard-cover version first; then on another night, as a treat, bring out this version! They'll be happily surprised! Nice, quality time before bed! A treat for kids of all ages--<wink! wink>! ;).Version: 1.6
