Handy, but limitedWhile there’s some excellent and useful features in this app- the photo tool, for instance and the export functions, there’s a few things that make it not so great. You can’t delete a palette, for instance, and the organization tools are pretty limited. A simple slide to delete function and the ability to sort palettes on the main screen by newest and recently viewed would help a lot..Version: 1.1

Love It! Too Bad It’s Buggy.Great app for sorting your colors and palettes right here. Not only can you create collections to store specific types of palettes (For example, I sort my palettes by theme and colors) But you can create entire color systems to reference off of when creating your palettes. This makes the app very useful for pixel artists specifically, or for any artists who like to use limited color palettes. I only have a few issues with the app that keep me from giving it 5 stars: A minor feature I request is the ability to create color systems by deriving from photos and files the same way you can for regular palettes. This would make creating color systems a much, much faster process. All my other problems with the app are how buggy it is. It’s hard to sort palettes in collections because the app keeps thinking I want to take the colors to add to another palette. I keep losing my progress because the way the offline and online storage system is extreme buggy, and I end up having to start all over again with my palettes and color systems when they’re suddenly all gone when I load it up. Palettes with a whole bunch of colors do…NOT display the best. Sometimes parts of the app will literally freeze, causing me to load it back up again. This app just really needs to be cleaned up. It’s a shame; I really like Pastel. I even paid for it to access more storage and features. I can’t use it however if it keeps fizzling on me. I really hope the developers do something about these problems..Version: 2.1.6

Not HappyI just installed this on the new MacOS and it will not let me import a photo to use the pallet. Is this because of the the new OS Monteray. perhaps you can look at this and help please..Version: 2.0.3

How to load photo?Analyze photos from the photo library or from Files to determine their dominant colors - choosing specific colors manually if you wish - and save their color palettes to Pastel..Version: 2.2.4

Lots of Potential!I really want to like this app as I have a real need for it, but it is very buggy and does not work as advertised! I cannot drag and drop colors from the color sidebar into a palette, why? There is no way of duplicating a color in a palette as thuis is the easiest way of creating a range of colors. Color names do not survive, when you view a color in a palette the name is erased when you exit. It should also make name editing more accessible and they should be displayed more promimently. Support through Twitter is not what I would call support, so it is basically non-existent, which is a shame. I want to support development of tools like this but it is hard to do if the software does not work correctly and there is no way to report problems except through a review..Version: 1.1.5

HowIf only there was an explanation on how to use it.Version: 2.2.4

Missing convenienceWould it be possible for the colour picker tool to send the value to the clipboard for easy sharing with other applications? It would make this feature quite a bit more useful..Version: 2.2.6

Good but could be greatI love the ability to explore colour and create palettes. I wish I could do two things. I want to export the palette in a format that could be used by Procreate. Second I want to be able to bring in a picture and collect the colours from it. Then IU could adjust the colours using the app. A good that could be brilliant with these two minor tweaks..Version: 1.1.5

ConfusingNo instructions. Added wallpaper widget but nothing I tap in it does nothing. No idea how I’m supposed to use the wallpaper feature or what it even does..Version: 2.2.6

Can’t use my own pallets as widgetsWidgets don’t recognize the names of pallets that I’ve made. When I set a widget to a custom pallet, it just reverts to the “newsstand” look..Version: 1.1.5

No way to analyze colors from photosI see no option to do this in the app and no way to connect with app support via their “website”. Not impressed..Version: 1.1.7

Good, but no colour picker?????This is a good app for creating colour pallettes. I love the clean interface but... WHY NO COLOUR PICKER???? Picking colours from colours on the screen should be a standard feature on a colour app..Version: 1.1.7

Widget doesn't work :-(As a graphic designer with 30 different clients who all have different brand colors, this app had me salivating over its potential. UNFORTUNATELYYYY, the widget just says "Loading...." in the week since downloading, and hasn't changed in the week since I installed it. If it started working, I'd give this 5 stars in a second because of all the time it'd save copying color codes every day..Version: 1.1.5

Do not have colour picker !Why can't it have colour picker ?.Version: 1.1.1

Widget issuesReally nice app, but (and this is the only reason I installed it) I'm having problems with the widget functionality. Frequently the widgets will simply display the app icon along with "loading..." text. Any way to resolve this permanently?.Version: 1.1.2

Incredible Potential! This is a cool app, the iPhone version is really good, the mac version is also great. I wish you add the following features: • Color Picker • Menubar icon for quick access • Image Color Pallet • Integration with Figma/XD/Sketch Thanks for this app..Version: 1.1

Not HappyI just installed this and it will not let me import a photo on MacOS Monterey or the latest iPad update as I cannot see a top menu bar as is on the Mac. Can you please look at this as it is of no use to me as is. DRM.Version: 1.1.8

Carefully curated palettes can disappear at any momentThis is the second time I have lost every single palette I created in the app. This is 100% unacceptable..Version: 2.2.8

Custom pallets not workingMy widget no longer loads after the update but the changes i make to pallets & custom ones ive made won’t show on the widget.Version: 1.1.5

Pallettes disappear and data is lostThis app is pretty much unusable because it will lose palletes that you make. I see other reivews reporting the same issue with responses from the dev to reach out to them. I emailed the developer, but haven't heard back..Version: 2.2.6

Kind ofI like this app and all the thing is that i dont know how to get into a Page That i can draw in so im going to give this a 3 stars.Version: 2.2.6

Soooooo close! This is such a simple, amazing tool to for solo designers like me to manage client brand colors! The only thing that would take it to the next level is being able to include brand fonts! If this functionality was added, it would be PERFECTION!!!.Version: 1.1.5

NoneCan you use this program in Photoshop..Version: 2.2.3

Custom palettes costantly disappear, no real product support or documentationI recently purchased and downloaded this app a few hours ago to my Mac Pro running macOS Monterey. I spend an hour creating several custom palettes I put into a "collection". Suddenly, all of my palettes were gone. The "collection" was still there, but empty. I tried a few tests (making more colors, palettes, collections, open/close the app after creating them), and the palettes would either disappear out of the collection, or the palettes might still be there, but empty of colors. There is no real support for tis product. A webiste/support linke in the Apple App Store goes to webpage, which in turn, has a link back to the App Store. There is a Twitter link, where I suppose that is where we're supposed to learn how to use this app and get support. But I don't care to use Twitter, certainly not for support on a product I spent money on. I see no way to get real support nor a refund. Hopefully others are not having similar loss of time and productivity with this app..Version: 2.0.4

Not so greatTrying to generate colors in general is fine, but deleting a color or palette you've made that you don't like, for example, doesn't work. And use is simply basic for a designer..Version: 2.2.6
