✓ Great AppI love using this app. The graphics are amazing. It is very easy to use and fascinating to play with. One issue I have is that the compass is not always accurate, therefore the aim of the app is sometimes off. Closing the app and resetting the compass usually does the trick. ✓ Great potentialThis is probably the best of the simple astronomy apps. Simple in the respect that it has the basic star, deep sky objects visible in stunning clarity. Obviously doesn't have all the catalogues of Starmap Pro, Sky Safari etc, but at the price it can't be expected. For a quick look at the sky this us unbeatable value. One feature that should be seriously considered by the developer is to be able to stop the compass facility by touching the screen. Unfortunately this important feature can't be done. The screen continually moves. If you want to study one particular section of the sky, you basically can't. Every time you move the phone the sky follows you. If you put the phone on your knee all you get is a view of the sky in the southern hemisphere. Please can we have an update to overcome this. If not it can't really be used as a serious astronomy app. Maybe future updates, higher star magnitudes and more deep sky objects (main NGC). even if the price is increased it would be worth it.
