Metronome!! for Positive User Reviews

Very usefulThe interface is simple and easy to use. I would recommend this app to anyone who needs a metronome..Version: 1.2

Used in first aid classI use the app in my first aid classes. It helps students learn to maintain the most effective rhythm for CPR.Version: 1.2

Great AppThe app is great-easy to understand and user friendly..Version: 1.6

Great appSimple to use and lots of options it's cool.Version: 1.5

Best in store!!!This is the best metronome in the store!! You can save tempos which makes playing a piece with multiple tempos easier..Version: 1.2

I recommendHandy app definitely 5 stars.Version: 1.2

No proWorks well I use it all of the time one thing though in 6/8 I think the emphasis should be on the beats 1and 4 rather than the first note in the bar similarly in 9/8 and 12/8..Version: 1.5

Better than what I bought at the music store. It works better than the one I purchased at a local music store (for a lot more than I paid here). I like how adjustable the tempo is. It has more options than the battery operated one I have..Version: 1.5

Good but..Excellent, clear and easy to use. However, where's the more complex time signatures? Not what I was looking for....Version: 1.5

A good workable program@@@@@@@********* Addendum: several days ago I wrote a 4 star review of this program noting that the downbeat emphasis had a habit of disappearing after a few minutes. Peter, the writer of this fine program promptly fixed it and I now proudly award 5 stars which it absolutely does. If you are looking for a program that does its job with little fanfare but with quiet efficiency, look no further - better get it while it's free. Kudos Peter. I've got several of these metronome programs - I find they are best for giving me cadence count on my walking and running regimen. This one does the job BUT after about 15 minutes or so drops the downbeat emphasis the programmer has so meticulously put in. It reverts to a flat count. Be nice if this got fixed because it's a clean compact program -- there's a lot of us walkers and runners out here looking for a program that'll give us a clean cadence count over Bluetooth with the ability to integrate our music (Hint - Hint). For some reason or other Bluetooth seems to send some of these others into a black hole. Spruce this up a bit with emphasis on cadence counts for us walker/runners 100 to 200 steps a minute or so with the ability to adjust our downbeat emphasis and various sounds all with music (already on our iPhones) and Bluetooth and I'll buy it Mr. Programmer..Version: 1.2

ReviewDoes what it says - brilliant for basic tempo indication..Version: 1.2

The amazingusI really like this app because it really helps me with my piano because my metronome is mest up cause someone broke it! Keep going with the app Nik the guy.Version: 1.2

Nice Little app!No bells and whistles, just a digitized version of an old fashioned metronome. My only ‘complaint’ is when when you turn the volume up hear the max the difference between the downbeat and upbeat becomes negligible..Version: 1.6

Best metronome app out thereTitle says it all. I tried all the free ones. This one works wonders. Never fails, I can lock my screen while it beats (saves battery), visual is fantastic and a great help. It's loud enough too, where I can still hear it even when I play Rachmaninoff. Love it. Thanks a lot.Version: 1.5

GreatGreat. My only complain is the red stop button. Red means record, always trips me... should be black. Thx.Version: 1.6

Great appI like the flexibility of the app to change the time signature. I gave it 4 stars because the downbeat auditory cue is only a little louder than the other beats. I would like a greater differentiation of the auditory cue for the downbeat. An option for a verbal count (one, two, three, four, etc.) would be nice for someone like me who is counting challenged..Version: 1.6

Basic metronome - does what it shouldAs an instrumentalist and choral singer, this app assists me during home practice sessions. Nice features include the ability to turn the downbeat emphasis on or off, a visual display that can be used with no sound, and different tones for the click. I love the "tap here" feature - this helps me to pin down the actual tempo my director is using, which is helpful later during practice. I'd give it 5 stars if it included choices for verbal time directions ("presto", "andante", etc. ) and it would be a bonus if it included a tuner as well. But as it is - I use it frequently and it does what it needs to do! Great choice for a useful free app!.Version: 1.5

Great! As a music student, I need metronomes all the time for practicing. I love this metronome. Only one thing: I would like it if you didn't have to save every tempo you use. I also think it could or improved by adding things such as Allegro Molto, Allegro Moderato, and things like that; in between tempos. Thanks!.Version: 1.2

Musician's best friendIt is a really great app to have if you play music, but it doesn't always have the settings I need. Still comes highly recommended.Version: 1.1

Therapy ExerciseThis metronome is perfect for therapy exercises to correct my problem with vertigo. I need to move my head from side to side while my eyes remain focused on a stationary object. My head movement has to be at certain speeds and this app works just right..Version: 1.5

MrIt does what it says.Version: 1.2

Great for Working on Run PaceEasy to use and reliable with a good selection of tones. I like the high, bouncey one as it encourages me to stay elastic and step lightly. Being able to change downbeats from 2/4 to 3/4 ensures more even strides that don't favor right over left once I get the pace "in my legs.".Version: 1.5

Excellent!Nothing fancy but I wasn't looking for that! Just what I needed for tempi!.Version: 1.5

I use it in place of my old oneThis is such a useful app! Once my real metronome died, I downloaded this and it saved me a bunch of money! I love the easy-to-use tempo buttons and downbeat emphasizers. My only suggestion is that it would have an A tone for tuning..Version: 1.5

Easy to use and very flexible.Multiple sounds, different time signatures (including _no_ time signature when you want a steady beat without emphasis), self-evident controls, and the ability to save multiple tempos as "presets" make this an excellent tool..Version: 1.5

ExcellentIt does as it says! Thanks. Sound is fine!.Version: 1.5

Pacing for runnersThis App is helpful for maintaining a constant pace while running outside..Version: 1.6

ExcellentGreat app perfect for a beginner like myself..Version: 1.5

SImple, reliableMy 10 year old son uses it when he plays the piano. He's going to use it right away, and has never had a problem..Version: 1.5

Easy to useWorks well, easy to use for kids' violin practice. Though it displayed a metronome ticking back and forth, but it does not. If it did, that would be five stars!.Version: 1.5

Very basic and easy to use. This app is very good. Although basic, this is exactly what 90% of all people need, basic, simple, and easy to use. As a former musician, this app is perfect for young musicians and dancers who need to practice rhythm. I highly recommend it if this is what you need..Version: 1.5

Perfect Puppy TamerGreat for not intended uses! We got a new puppy last night, but no longer have any old style clocks to simulate mom's heartbeat. Bought this app, set the speed and our new puppy was asleep in minutes..Version: 1.2

Very goodEasy to use and extremely cheap compared to the price of an electronic metronome which does the exact same thing!!.Version: 1.4

Very helpfulEasy to use and record a click track without learning midi in my recording program.Version: 1.6

ReliableThere are a lot of metronome apps with fancy graphics and complex sounds, but this is the one that has it where it counts. Consistent, reliable beat you can jam to without worrying about the processor speed of your devise creating latency. Also the high-hat-like sound is light enough not to bleed audio through your headphones if you are using it for recording. Highly recommended..Version: 1.2

Just What A Beginner NeedsI am trying to learn to play the guitar, I need a metronome to help me learn to keep time, not a lot of bells and whistles, just something I can see and hear. This works great!.Version: 1.5

Great AppIt is a great metronome. I especially like it because I can hear It very clearly over the noise of my Tuba, even if I have to play loud. All in all, great app, and you can't go wrong for free..Version: 1.5

MetronomeI wish there were more higher-pitched tones or Ticks, as a few are more wooden sounding and can't be heard v. Well. Otherwise, this app really comes in handy and I like that I can save the settings to refer back to..Version: 1.5

Very usefulWorks very well. Good use of the sweeping bar visual. Only complaint: buttons and controls are too small so I end up missing them all the time. The iPad is big enough and there's plenty of empty space to make the buttons bigger..Version: 1.5

Nice ChangeA nice alternative to the standard metronome. Pleasure sounds and reasonable visuals. Works for me. I like the idea of saving tempos.Version: 1.2

This app has been very helpfulRhythm has been a challenge, but this app has helped me with this. It is louder than my traditional metronome and easier for me to know when I get off beat..Version: 1.5

Thanks!I use it for my snare drum exercices, very useful. By the way, if the next update could add some more tick sounds it would be great. I recommend this easy to use app..Version: 1.5

Works nicelyAnd no annoying advertising.Version: 1.6

Very GoodGreat app. Does everything I've asked of it, with no problems..Version: 1.4

Simple TickNot much to say except this is a great app. Simple to operate and has just what is needed. No extra things that I would never use. You need to get this!.Version: 1.5

Just what I neededKeeps you on the beat and enables you to work with other apps while it's ticking away. So following a cheat sheet till you learn a song won't shut off the metronome..Version: 1.2

Excellent AppThis is an ideal app for helping to find the perfect timing for a song while playing the piano or any other instrument. It is also a whole lot cheaper than buying a standard metronome..Version: 1.5

Really helpedI used this app to help me with keeping the same tempo when i played the piano! Only problem is that the bigger sound isn't different sounding only the picture on the screen is! Great app though!!!!¡!!!!!!¡.Version: 1.5

Great!!! 😃This app is a lot better than another metronome app I got because it doesn't have just the easiest time signatures it also has more complex ones as well. And also it saves your tempos and it isn't as sensitive when u r speeding up or slowing down the tempo..Version: 1.2

Good needs more sound effectsGood program. Needs different sounds than I would give it 5 stars..Version: 1.1

I love this metronome - I grew up using a wooden FranzThis thing is perfect. End of story; he's my little buddy that loves Miles Davis and Frank Zappa - he's always focused; we have a great time together playing the masters songbooks.Version: 1.5

Best EDM ever!Seriously, though, I like it. Simple and to the point. It overlays with the music so I can figure out just what the beat is on favorite songs..Version: 1.6

Super, better than the othersI only tested free ones. Nice interface, and runs in the background too..Version: 1.2

Worth it!Very easy to use. I use it mostly when I travel. Click is loud and I even have a choice of clicks. Slider bar is very helpful. Worth the money..Version: 1.5

MetronomeLove this app, I use it more than every other app and it is just as good ad a real metronome.Version: 1.4

ChristobayExcellent app so simple to use, just ticks along behind other apps I'm using. Perfect!.Version: 1.4

Great little appPerfect.Version: 1.4

Great appReally handy - does all I want it to!.Version: 1.6

Good app for the moneyOne of the good things about this app is I can use it while useing other apps containing my music i.e. IRoll & ultimate guitar and Anytune pro.One reviewer said about the downbeat only being on the first beat of the bar in 6/8 time.If you want it on the 4th as well use 3/4 time instead.Does the job well, though I must agree with the other reviewer about the sounds, they do let this excellent app down, hence one star knocked off..Version: 1.5

Store tempos, but needs visual downbeatCool functionality. The interface is great and allows you to select tempos in intervals of one. The tick isn't very loud and is a little weird sounding, and not having a visual downbeat is a big drawback. From the reviews of other metronomes, however, this seems like the best free one..Version: 1.0

Great !This is an excellent app !.Version: 1.5

Love itI'm learning to play the ukulele. I have had very little musical training and needed some help with keeping the best. This is a great app. It is flexible and simple to use. It is really helping my practice sessions. Highly recommend..Version: 1.5

Love itThis metronome is absolutely perfect for running and trying to keep cadence in line with Chi running 180. If you have the kind of brain that can listen to two things at once (moms are naturally good at this, lol) than you can listen to your music while the metronome is tick tocking.Version: 1.2

Brilliant as Plays in backgroundMost metronomes I've used stop making a sound when you close the app ... So you can't use them for timing when playing another iPad synth for example. This may not be the best looking metronome. But it's the only one that really works for making music actually on the iPad..Version: 1.2

Simple & straight forwardA good, straight forward, simple to use metronome. The visual is great and the sound choice worked for my 8 year old who was hating the sound on the built in metronome on the keyboard. Thank you..Version: 1.5

Simple, SolidI use it to sync recordings in various apps. It will tick away behind whatever's open..Version: 1.2

Exactly what I neededIt’s a metronome that works. It has multiple tones as well as variable speeds and time signatures..Version: 1.6

Awesome app!I play piano and guitar and recently, our metronome broke. This was a LOT better then getting a new one. Take my advice and instead of paying money for a metronome, get this app instead!.Version: 1.2

AwesomeExcellent app. Perfect to accompany flute playing..Version: 1.5

HreyLove this :) great for practicing for grade one on piano.Version: 1.5

This is for us drummersDo it! It even remembers what tempos you are working on. I would like a few more options in terms of the clicks but the 5 they have are fine.Version: 1.5

Best metronome appThis is one of the only ones that allows you to turn off any time signatures, and simple look and feel is the best..Version: 1.5

MetronomeUsing it to pace my running. It stays running while using other apps and screen lockouts on iPod. Does everything I needed..Version: 1.1
