✓ Great, needs update.I am a user of your playwriter app. I enjoy it greatly but after the recent software update on apple products I have found that the app is not currently compatible with iOS11. I looked into it on my iPad but have found no solution and so I was told the next best option would be to contact you directly about an update. I want to keep using your product because I believe it is fantastic so I hope there is a solution quickly that can be made. Thank you..Version: 2.5
✓ Might be good, but a bit "buggy"It won't stop asking for a rating before giving me time to give a honest review of the app. I hope that by giving this review I won't see any more of the annoying prompts that are constantly popping up while trying to figure out how this app works ~ until the prompts go away I can't really say how I like the app..Version: 2.5
✓ A few thingsI love this app but you can't write musicals as there is no feature in the script to put in songs. Also whenever I close the app, one of the character names changes back into "new character". But apart from that I love this app and I use it all the time..Version: 2.5
✓ What I needThis app. suites my needs, and is easy to use. There is however one annoying item, which I hope the developer can fix? When you try to write a new line of dialogue, the tex box into which you enter the dialogue is half hidden. In other words you can't see what you are typing! Hopefully this is just a small bug, and the update will soon appear..Version: 1.0
✓ Seems Pretty LegitI love this app but you can't really see what you type about the characters and you can't click on to many people for dialogue. I put 4 stars because it also needs to be updated sometimes. I have never updated it ever. Get some more things on there!.Version: 1.0
✓ Help is On The Way!UPDATE: JAN 21, 2013 - I tracked down the creator of the app. Last year was a bad year for the dude and I feel for him. He was unaware of the problems with this app until I brought it to his attention. He is dedicated to fixing the app and eventually bring more features for us. Hang tight; a new version is coming. If you're like me, you love the simplicity and power of this app. I trust it'll be worth the wait. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wasn't expecting much, but this little app helped me flesh out characters, scenes and create some preliminary dialogue while on a plane trip today. It doesn't have all of the subtleties of Celtx, but Play Writer is actually a great tool to bang out that first draft. I love how it keeps track of characters and their lines/scenes. I love how it easily creates a script that can be emailed. What would give it a 5? Dropbox integration, or sync capabilities so that I can keep my iPad and iPhone on the same page. ✓ ITS SO HARD TO FIND A GOOD PLAY WRITING APPIt is so hard to find a good play writing app nowadays. But this, THIS, is the perfect app. For one of my projects we had to write and shoot a movie. ✓ Good despite shortcomingsA good play writing tool I am able to use effectively on Ipad for writing a Seven act, 44 Scene play with about 120 characters. Shortcomings: 1. There should be a way to pre-define Props, Music and Lighting controls like characters and scenes so that they can be cataloged like list of characters and scenes. 2. I wish there is a way to get a mapping of scene-character, Character-Scene etc in formatting. 3. I wish there was a way to generate sides..Version: 2.5
✓ I love it!This has made writing my first play easy and inspiring. Rather than dealing with a bunch of formatting, this provides directions and dialogue for each character, flexibility. It is pretty sweet. Plus I am emailing a PDF, or can print from iPad directly. I am a teacher and am writing my class's script (with their ideas and characters). I am super satisfied!.Version: 2.5

✓ I Love This AppI really like this app. It's easy to use, fast. The only real issue I've ever had with it is the lack of cloud storage or backup. I lost quite a bit of work some months ago when my IPad crashed. So an option to backup or save files to Dropbox would be useful. Wish it was supported by IOS 10..Version: 2.5
✓ Good but....I love this app and use it all the time but unfortunately I think there must be a bug or virus constantly in is app as recently for the last couple of months the app will not let me view the full script. Once I click on the full preview it goes strait t my home screen and will only let me view individual scenes. This really des need sorting.Version: 2.0
