✓ Excellent addition to the iOS appThe latest version now allows using the Mac app as the baby monitor which uses the webcam in your laptop or iMac. And monitoring can happen on an iPad or iPhone elsewhere… and same thing can be done in reverse. For the past 6 months I have been using the iOS version of the app on an old iPhone 4 (2010) set up on a selfie stick, sticky taped to our babies cot and then monitor through an old iPad 2 (2011) around the house. We also took it all on holidays to a trip to Bali and it all worked together on the hotel wifi too, amazing stuff… In terms of price and functionality, when compared to dedicated baby monitor products, I cant recommend the Baby Monitor 3G apps highly enough!.Version: 4.0.2`
✓ Very reliableMyself and boyfriend use the baby monitor for our french bulldog, Tupac. He is epileptic and is prone to really bad seizures. We didn’t want to invest in an expensive baby monitor so we figured try this out since the cost was low. Works great, and gives us peace of mind. Great new update too! ✗ Watch out..an audio monitor with still pictures. not a live monitor for remote operationBaby Monitor requires you to purchase 2 applications - one for your home monitor and another for your remote (iphone, in my case). Then, after you shell out for two purchases, you discover it is an AUDIO monitor with the capacity to take still picture. Real time, video monitoring - which parents need, is ONLY supported if you are on the SAME WIFI network - that is within the same house. If you want to monitor your baby sitter watching your baby while out of the house, forget this application..Version: 2.1
✗ Wish I hadnt wasted the moneyI purchased this on my iPhone without realising that i would have to purchase the app a 2nd time to run on the Mac. I did so anyway, because whats the point in buying half an app. Although it really should be disclosed that you have to pay twice! Then I discover that only the mac can be used to monitor the baby, which means I have to leave my iPhone in the little ones room, which is pretty useless for anyone who needs there phone and doesnt have a second iphone or an iPad..Version: 1.0
