✓ Outdated and unintuitiveThe app works, but thats it. Compared to recent offerings from the masters, PGA and US Open, you’d have no idea this event was a major championship based on how awful the app is. Can’t tell who is in the featured groups. ✓ Awful appWhen will the R and A or DP world tour come to the realisation that their app is awful ? In particular I refer to the shot tracking of your chosen player , it is worse than dreadful when compared to PGA tours 3D shot tracking . ✓ WowITS 2018 AND I CANT CHECK WHERE MY FAVORITE PLAYER IS LYING ON THE COURSE. The TV coverage is all day which is phenomenal but you don’t seem to realize they only show the same 30 golfers. So my favorite golfer can be in the top 20 and no FaceTime because of his sponsorships. So you could upgrade your app from 2005 and show players locations on the course and position. That way I can track my guy who’s only a few strokes behind the leader on Sunday. I’m tired of watching the guys in the Top 20 World rankings play for making the cut..Version: 2.0.3

✓ Can’t sign upNo matter what I do, how many different email addresses I try, or change passwords I can not log on to my account. All I get is a message saying they’ve “encountered problems”. This app does not work..Version: 2.2.7
✓ What makes this app special?This and the PGA Championship are the only major golf tournament apps that don’t do some sort of shot tracking. And since it’s a major, the PGA TOUR app isn’t allowed to shot track because of certain rights I assume. With that being said, it doesn’t need to be a 3D version like the PGA TOUR app but at least tracking the shots on a page for players would be useful since most of us work and can’t watch live coverage of our favorite golfers in an exciting major tournament..Version: 2.2.9

✓ Not impressedThe whole reason I downloaded this app was to keep up to date with the leaderboard. Currently the format doesn't fit the screen so the page collapses in meaning you can't read the info in the middle. You can see the person leading is at -7 but you can't see the players name. And you cannot even watch those unless you sign up within the app. Then the rest is just fluff and advertisement. ✓ Weird designI assume you have all players in the field with an easy to read bio. I just couldn’t find it after looking for 2 minutes. Look at Masters app for how to do a clean, simple golf app. Too many stories and fluff. Can’t even find a course tour. It wants to show what happened 30 years ago, and has stories about Old Tom Morris. Fine content but it has to be in addition to and not in place of player listings with bios as well as simple hole descriptions..Version: 2.2.6

✓ Not what I want to use it forThis app is pretty poor as far as golf apps go, most tell you your bookmarked players' scores at the end of each round and their placings etc. but this doesn't and you also can't search easily for players because the leaderboard is so confusingly laid out. ✓ Needs UI changesCan not view the leaderboard while listening to the radio broadcast. Radio broadcast brings up a video window (with no video of course) but that means you cannot move away from that window or the audio stops. The audio stops if you move to a different app. Horrible experience. Scoreboard in portrait mode - when you click a player it takes you to the Bio and then you have to click again to see their score. Yuck. Cannot see who people are playing with. The PGA app is far far better. It shows the group and tracks each of their shots. And don’t get me started on the mishmash that is the audio broadcast!.Version: 1.6.5

✓ Where are the stats??!Ok unless I’m a complete moron, I don’t see any statistics (fairways hit, greens in regulation, driving distance, strokes gained etc etc) in the app! How do you have a golf app and not have those?? The great Masters app has that info, the US Open app does as well. Cmon British Open, step up with the big boys. ✓ Awful Shot Tracking- The 3d interface for shot tracking is downright awful. Laggy, hard to control zoom, can’t control orientation. Rubbish. - Why can’t I see a players stats properly, as in 8/9 fairways today. What good is a percentage? I have to do math on the fly to get a greens hit ratio. What’s more, you cannot rewatch featured group or featured holes for any round. That should be a very basic add. The Open should look at what the Masters app has done and implement some of the more user friendly features..Version: 2.2.9
