It also did not say the words aloud, so I was messing up my pronunciation. Babel was working fine, then it started coming in with these dumb hidden fees. So then I tried this app. It was going great because I was getting my pronunciation down because the app says the French word aloud. It also does English to French, which I am using. I was learning at a good rate, and for free. Then the free trial ended and I thought this was going to be the same as Babel. Well, it wasn’t.
