✓ What I like about AyahAyah is a very nice app! It is a great app to read Quran with translation and no translation…I am even able to finish the whole quran(with meanings)with this app! ✓ Absolutely fantasticI lost count as to how many people I have referred to download this game changing app. I have tried countless Quran app in the past. I even teach Quran using this app, share the image of ayah for exercises, used it for memorization (myself and my students) and everything in between. The only thing I would hope can be made available in future is more bookmarks! I needed to keep track for my two kids’ (reading + memorization) and myself so 4 bookmarks is hard! ✓ Super app just needs verse number trackingThis is really a 5 star app but it’s just missing 1 feature IMO. There should be an indicator at the bottom of each page (perhaps in the middle) that shows the number of the last verse on the page vs the total number of verses in the surah. For example, “v 47 of 286” then next page has “v 56 of 286” then “v 63 of 286” and so on (number just made up for the example). Should be fairly simple to implement. ✓ Need Some More translationI have been using this app to read the English translation and found it very clear and easy to understand . I would suggest that the developers should give the translation of the name of the Sarah also . Secondly many a times we for certain explanations we are told to refer back to the same explanation which was given earlier. It is not easy to keep referring back and I would suggest that even if it is being repeated please give the explanation for the continuity of the verse will not be lost and reading the same thing again and again will help the reader in a better understanding of the verse and make it more clear to them. Some suggestions for future versions: - adding more recitations by known sheikhs - adding a feature to track and show your reading progress (ie average verses read daily/ weekly / monthly). Also a great feature of tafsir (I can only read English) and is translated by saheeh international. There is also a bookmark mechanism where one can make a mark of which ayat they are on if they get interrupted/pause. Lastly, there is a recordings of famous reciters reciting each ayah and one can play all the Surah or a select few ayat (In order) once or (even better for memorisation) continuously May allah accept all our efforts and forgive me and you. This app has so many features, which I haven’t seen in other apps. First of all the Mushaf has a warm colour which is very easy to look at and read from it . Its also high quality print and if you want to search for a surah you can just type in search option. You can bookmark any ayah with different colours and put star on any ayah. My father would have a blast using this app. 2nd Request, when auto playing, you see how the Ayah goes to the middle of the screen (ie the active ayah that’s being recited), before it would be on the top of the app. THAT WAS PERFECT, I used to use this to screen record videos of the Quran, you could add a little watermark If u want, but when it was on the top (the active ayah), the clips would look much nicer. 3rd request: u should add a feature for those who use the English translation with the Arabic all the time to be automatically show for them instead of having to switch from all Arabic every time. ✓ Great work overall 👍🏻Thank you brother for this great app. Everything is great except for one small issue regarding “Ibn Jozai’s tafsir”. There are explanations that must not be used, especially within the Quran itself like this app. Because not everyone who reads The Holy Quran is able to differentiate between “do and don’t”, or define all of its terms, and not everyone is fully aware of Sunnah. One of the issues regarding Sunnah exactly is in this verse: ﴿إِنّا أَرسَلنا عَلَيهِم ريحًا صَرصَرًا في يَومِ نَحسٍ مُستَمِرٍّ﴾ [القمر: ١٩] ﴿يوم نحس مستمر﴾ روي أنه كان يوم أربعاء حتى رأى بعضهم أن كل يوم أربعاء نحس وروي أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «قال آخر أربعاء من الشهر يوم نحس مستمر». - تفسير ابن جزي This Hadith is fabricated. It is an impudent lie attributed to our Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). He would never say such thing. And this saying clearly contradicts what the Quran and his Sunnah teaches us not to do -Ornithomancy- which is polytheism. I’m sure that this is an unintended mistake.
