Travelling with FlixBus and FlixTrain is easy! Just download the free app and give it a try. For bookworms who’d like more details, here are some tips to get you started.

BOOKING

Choose your desired connection, enter your passenger information, choose your preferred payment method, and pay for your ticket. The advantages of booking through the app:

- Your app is your ticket - no need to print anything

- You have access to special offers only available through the app

INFORMATION ON YOUR TRIP

You can access your trip information and ticket anytime and follow the location of your bus or train easily. Let the app guide you to your stop.

Important information, such as delays or changes concerning the trip, will be shared with you via push notification or a text message, so you won’t miss any information. Very important: don’t forget to allow push notifications!

LUGGAGE

Every ticket includes 1 free handbag on board and 1 free suitcase/travel bag. Unlike flights or other means of transportation, you can easily and affordably bring more luggage with you on the bus or train by purchasing additional luggage. Bicycle spaces are also available – just choose the option you need during the booking process. Our bus drivers and train staff are happy to help you stow them away. COMFORT ON BOARD

✓ Trying to input phone numberIt is evident that this app wasn’t designed for the United States. It is impossible to put my phone number in case there were problems. I’ve had so many episodes where buses were cancelled or didn’t come at all and I had to rebook. I was on a bus once headed to California and the bus got stuck in the snow and they sent another bus to take us back where we started from. I was stranded by FlixBus in the snow in Las Vegas. So please fix the app for the US because some of us depend on these buses to get home for family emergencies then end up stranded due to no communication from FlixBus. Our lives depend on it. I’m a senior citizen and my life depends on communication due to being handicapped..The lady Ms. TVersion: 7.39.1

✗ Poor serviceI booked with FlixBus but they texted me on the wrong number that the bus I was taking would actually not be a FlixBus branded bus but a random bus. I didn’t receive the text and missed my bus. The rebooking cost for the next bus was triple the original booking because of late notice and no compensation was received. They even charged me 5 euro cancellation fee of the unbranded bus..Patrick in TurinVersion: 6.0.5

✗ Bus never came to pickup spotNever use this service. My bus did not come to the scheduled pickup spot at the time on my ticket. When I called customer support, they refused a refund and couldn’t even transfer me to another bus scheduled 1 hour and 15 minutes later going to the same destination. Their “terms and service” excuse is ridiculous. Keep in mind, I’ve taken this bus before at the exact same pickup spot so I know where it is supposed to arrive. Please, just use another service or carpool. Update; Contacted another representative via live chat who immediately gave me the refund and acknowledged the bus left 25 minutes earlier than it should have.
