The shogun has fallen from power, plunging the land into chaos as feuding feudal lords scramble to take his place. But the shogun has an ace up his sleeve: you! As the head of a leading ninja clan, it's up to you to rally your followers and help unify Japan!

As their fearless leader, you'll need to train your fellow ninjas in the ways of modern 16th-century warfare--including the use of those newfangled matchlock guns! Assign them to infantry, cavalry, and other units to form an army fit for a shogun!

Of course, war is costly in more ways than one. Between battles, your followers will raise funds by producing food, handicrafts, and other goods to sell to passing travellers.

Arm your ninjas with the best gear, training, and skills and lead them to victory in the struggle for unification! You may even meet some of the era's greatest generals along the way...

Also managing your village is fun as well though they could add more villagers. ✗ Starts good...ends...?I'm not quite sure what to think of this game. Long story short, I think it suffers from some balance issues and poor design choices. The beginning of the game is absurdly fun and everything I have come to expect from the developer. The end game, however, is no where near as fun. I have spent the last 8 years of game time simply watching my town struggle to produce enough gold to afford the next level of troops. Then I go up against one of the absurdly difficult "endgame" armies and get them down to only a handful of soldiers while I still have 1000 left. But for whatever reason, there is a round limit in the battle system and I end up losing. The game calls it a draw, but that just isn't the case. There is no reason that battle should be considered a draw. But it is. And then I need to grind out another 10,000 gold to afford another 20 troops. I spent more time just sitting around not even looking at my device while waiting for my gold stores to go up for the next upgrade than I did actually engaged with the game. All in all, a great concept, but it still needs a lot of work to make it actually "fun.".RtsboyVersion: 1.0.0
