✓ New versionI have been playing Canasta Junction for the last three years. I was forced to download the new version which is awful. If it isn’t broken why fix it? The cards are smaller and the new version forces you to play very fast and the game ends too quickly - there’s something wrong with this version. It ends before you’re able to do anything to extend the game. This new app will force me to go back to playing canasta in person with real cards. What a shame that they had to ruin a very enjoyable game that I used to look forward to!.Mackie22?Version: 4.0.0

✗ I hate new upgradeThe cards in deck are ok size. Then they go in hand and they are so small if you pick a deck they are hard to read. Many times you wind up throwing out wrong card. When you meld the cards are even smaller. The meld area is smaller. The colors are dull and no choice for cards. Most canasta players are seniors. Yes the 2 advantages are in live play the dealer rotates to each player and in solitaire the computer can steal the pile in the meld but overall it is a major fail. My group is talking about leaving and seeing other options..J85674Version: 4.0.0

✗ Serious issues with this appThere are serious problems in this game. If I could give it negative stars I would do so. The randomizing of the deck for each hand is awful. In 80% plus of the games all the 3's are distributed pretty much before the second round of play. We were told to enter a seed number in the "Predetermined deck" space on the custom options page to avoid this but it did not work. It makes no sense that in order to avoid this we would have to all exit the game and re-enter a seed number after each hand. In addition, once we were dealt identical hands three times in a row and many times had repeat hands multiple times. Basically we could predict exactly what cards we would be dealt. In addition we have an inordinate number of hands dealt with multiple pairs (5-6) or triples and quads. Also we find that the pair who hosts the game tends to win about 75% of the games. The game would be a pleasure to play if these issues were corrected as the setup and playing of the game are well done. I find it hard to understand how the simple process of randomizing the distribution of the cards is such a problem for this app..Unhappy410Version: 1.3.80
