✓ Needs a Human TouchI love the tecartaBible interface. It’s by far the smoothest to operate and least cluttered of other apps. However, what is really missing is a human reading the bible. The “Text To Speech” is absolutely awful to try and listen to. Once “Narrated Audio” gets added then it’ll be a six star review for sure..Version: 7.16.2

✓ Very good, but a free key misstepsI like the shop and use it daily as my regular reader. Easy navigation, good customization capability, good reading experience. Good copy/paste/share tools , bookmarks, etc. But I have a couple major gripes: 1) the Scripture of the day notification, which is a nice feature, when you click on it, brings you to the app. It should BRING YOU TO THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY 2) this app was written for people who don’t actually read their bibles much. When you get to the end of a given chapter….it stops. You can’t just continue scrolling into the next (or previous) chapter. Who thought of that silliness? You have to go back to the navigation and navigate to the next chapter. Ugh! I like it, and I love (insist) that it’s offline for anytime/anywhere access. But these bugs are pretty irritating to me. ✓ I love the NIV 50th Anniversary Bible AppI love the NIV 50th Anniversary Bible App by Tecarta Bibles. The app is very easy to navigate, has a very nice almost golden background overlay to it, though one could change it to whatever else one prefers from the list of Available Background Colours. I also like that like other Tecarta Bible products, the app is dependable and reliable, and SHOULD ONE HAVE ANY ISSUES or DIFFICULTIES, the back-office customer technical support are quick to get back to one within a few working days or less once one has submitted one’s requests.. There are no adverts, and I like receiving the Bible promotions and “Bible verse of the day” notifications, though it can be turned off in the app’s settings, should one so prefer. And finally like ALL many other Bible Apps, everything is well laid out and I like that the Tecarta Bible apps make it easy to access bible references, notes or further information relating to a particular bible verse through inexpensive occasional study bible in-app purchases’ PROMOTIONS.
