Voice Dream Reader lets you listen to PDF documents, Web articles, and eBooks using text-to-speech. Although it is designed for people with visual impairment, dyslexia, ADHD, and other reading challenges, everyone can benefit. Your documents become audiobooks, so you can read while you walk, exercise or do chores. For productivity-minded people, with some practice, you can read at twice your sight-reading speed. Unlike audiobooks, you can highlight, take notes, and see the words as they're spoken to improve comprehension and retention.

Voice Dream Reader for iOS is a 2021 Apple Design Award Winner, and it's been featured by Apple as Best New App and App of the Day in 81 countries. ✓ Great AppAn almost daily used app because it reads so many different formats. I use it in my responsibility of reading and researching for sermons and other writing projects. I use it for reading and reviewing documents related to my responsibilities on a ministry HR committee in preparing to interview potential workers. I use it for pleasure to listen to audio files or magazines on hobbies I enjoy. I almost never give a 5 star rating to an app, but this one for Mac, iPad and iPhone deserves a 6 or even 10 star rating..Bwatson1122Version: 1.3.7

✓ Love the app as a loyal user (10 years) of both IOS and MAC versionsThis is a great app, probably the best reader app in light of its funtionality and cost. I have used the IOS app more than 10 years now and am subscribed to the Mac version as well. Yet, I have struggled with quite a bit of craches and bugs. There used to be for a while a big bug in syncing between IOS and Mac apps. Thankfully, it has been solved. But now, the Mac app constantly crashes when I skip a stentence or paragraph while it is being played. Every time I skip a sentence or paragrah either by the keyboard or mouse, the app crashe and I have to force quite and restart it. So, I have to pause the app before skipping sentences and paragraphs, and this is quite annoying. As a subscription app, I expect more from its developer..LkjgsVersion: 1.4.6

But there's a major problem with the macOS version, it needs more natural voices similar to the iPad version. Samantha is the only decent voice on mac, but I'm really looking for more. ✗ Really love feel and reader. No SUPPORT expensiveVery expensive for what it is. No reply from Support. It shows how under-developed readers are in general, that people are willing to pay $20 a month. Crazy price. For that price, I expect to be able to read anything withour dragging it into the app. Maybe apple will buy it and finally have a decent reader on apple's core platform.
