The app works free hand. Just point your iPhone towards the scene/part of the sky/thunderstorm where you expect the next lightning, start the iLightningCam 2 and wait, the app will automatically press the trigger if a lightning is detected in your view.

✓ Whaaaaaattt???Amazing! So easy! I could now pass as a professional photographer! My only problem now is I’m not sure if I can take credit for the photos, like, did I take the photo? Ir was it “Siri”? All I did was point my phone at the storm and sit back! Lol, if technology AI turns on us, it’s because we stole all its credit!!! ✓ BrilliantI tried this app out for the first time last night (we don't get many storms here) and left it on manual settings. It captured lightning that even I didn't see and they came out wonderfully with very little graininess in the photos. Very easy to use.
