The app works free hand. Just point your iPhone towards the scene/part of the sky/thunderstorm where you expect the next lightning, start the iLightningCam 2 and wait, the app will automatically press the trigger if a lightning is detected in your view.

Set it up during a very active storm, it took 27 photos in about 5 minutes, 25 of a cloudy sky in low res. 2 photos with anything in them showed a blurry horizontal white line? The free version is low res to drive people to the paid version but why would anyone pay money when the demo is so poor. Honestly you’re way better off setting your phone to video a storm then pulling out screenshots.Version: 3.1
