✓ DownhillNot sure what happened, used to have fantastic customer service and now can’t get anyone to respond. Was going to purchase the pro but not sure it’s worth it if I can’t get the app to connect with others, even when they’re turned on. Shame I really liked this app..TemashanaVersion: 6.0.7

✓ Fantastic app for creating a travel journalUpdate 16 August 2021: Esplorio was a great App, but has not been updated for a year. In addition, there is no support via the Help section of the App, and no response to emails. As a consequence, I have sadly cancelled my Pro subscription, and updated this review. I suspect Esplorio is another casualty of Covid-19. Researched various options and decided to go with Esplorio and haven’t been disappointed. Excellent support and regular updates adding useful new features and fixing bugs. I have just returned from a 50 day trip through New Zealand and had Esplorio running 24/7. Recorded an accurate GPS track with no significant battery drain. Quick to add photos and content with simple and easy to use editing tools. Really well thought out app which should only get better. I kept my trip private while traveling (shared only with family and friends) and made it public after returning home..G DisneyVersion: 6.0.7

✓ Could be fantasticThe idea is great and it almost works. It logs journeys but not all of them which I find frustrating. It can take days to update and in the meantime misses journeys. If it worked as it should I would have paid to upgrade..OldburyredVersion: 6.0.5

✓ Terrible supportAfter setting up my account I started receiving a lot of emails. This is not uncommon however theirs specifically asked for a reply with any questions. ✓ Such a shame...I have used this app for several years and it has been a great way to record and share trips...However the developers have obviously walked away and left it to gradually die. It is becoming more buggy, and the support is non-existent. I would advise anyone to try the free version, but don't upgrade, I did, and it gives nothing extra. ✓ Rubbish!I have tried on numerous occasions to print my first photo book & pay nearly £40! Every time I try it fails. I wanted this book as a surprise for my husband for Christmas. ✓ Sorry, I think it’s too hardI don’t get it. I’ve just got back from a 4 day trip to Italy. The app didn’t know when I left though or when I came back - and divided the trip up into smaller chunks. This meant it didn’t show the whole trip on the map, so I had to change the trip dates to include the flights to and from the UK. Then I kept getting a “server error” message when trying to choose the photos. Finally, when I tried to share the trip, that didn’t work either and none of the people I sent the link to could see it. I’m sorry, I love the idea and the company seems great, but I found it much too disjointed and the opposite of automatic..FieldAgentVersion: 4.1.2

✓ Postcard feature crashesTwice now I have tried to send a postcard, gotten partway through the process, and it crashes. I’ll use another app that works. I do like the geo journaling feature, but I think you could do so much more with this. How about being able to IMPORT a fox track? ✓ CheatedUnless you buy their $80+ Pro version you are now limited in photos per trip and photos per account. That means I am now locked out unless I pay their ransom. Even prior to going Pro, there were problems with the App that still have not been addressed. I don’t trust Esplorio. ✓ Pictures don’t load and it just says sorryAn apology is nice but I would rather see the pictures. The map functionality is nice but without pictures displaying the app isn’t any good for its intended purpose. ✓ Update 8/3/2022: stopped working - no response from customer serviceLoved this app so much I paid $49.95 for annual subscription for Pro version. And now doesn’t work and get no response despite multiple attempts from customer service. Terrific summary of miles, countries and delightful graphical representations. And with the syncing of map to photos. Only done a few trips from history and one from future to try out. Impressed! ✓ No support when neededI used Esplorio to journal a month long trip. When I had a question I got a “short answer” with a promise for a more complete answer later, then nothing. Now I get no response and I cannot edit my trip. I decided to settle with what I have and print a book and that’s proving to be impossible now too..Cant get help!Version: 6.0.7

✓ Pointless?Struggling to see the point of this app. You can’t select which photos to add to a trip, you have to add them all then delete the ones you don’t want. Previewing a suggested trip still doesn’t let you select which photos to add. Tutorials are hilarious, each title just goes to a splash page that doesn’t teach you anything.
