✓ Nice appGreat app and it is certainly good for those who are blind. I also happen to volunteer for Environment Canada and despite that not all the information comes strait from them, I generally like it. One thing I found out from a friend who also uses the app is that some marine weather warnings are issued and, that is good, especially for this time of year. Right now, no other weather app available in Canada, currently does that, along with public weather alerts. One thing I would like to see in the future updates for the app is possibly lightning strikes and where they are located. This will be good especially for those who are weather spotters and if we happen to be in a situation where thunderstorms could be on the horizon. So far, it's a great app and hopefully it can last for a long time..Version: 2.3

✓ I love this app!I love this app especially with the new version and how it gives you severe weather alerts. The only drawback, is that I cannot figure out how to enable push notifications after disabling them at some point. In the notification settings, what’s the garage does not appear. And the weather gods settings, notification settings do not appear. So I am confused. But I did email the weather gods team. And I do know that I will hear back from them shortly. So I give it a five star rating. They are constantly working to make this app accessible and it is very accessible with voiceover. ✓ AmazingI've been using Weather Gods for a few days now, and I love it. First of all I'm blind, so thank you for making it accessible with VoiceOver. But what I love most about Weather Gods are the different sounds and music, as they make it much easier to tell what the weather is quickly. For example, I don't even have to check on the screen if there's any cloud on the screen anymore, I'll hear the clear skies music becoming less clear the more cloud there is. There is a nice weather wheel that allows the user to see whether it is raining at 4 in the afternoon at 8 in the morning. There are also sounds that add a nice background noise. For those who are blind, the app is fully accessible with voiceover. ✓ Beautiful and fascinating...I have loads of weather apps. From complicated and detailed, through to simple ones. Some can be studied in detail and some are great to get weather at a glance. Many try to be visually appealing and this is what the creators of Weather gods clearly had in mind with their app. Boy have they succeeded! The weather wheel is a thing of beauty. It cleverly uses hi-tech to give a feeling reminiscent of the childhood fascination of a beautiful barometer hanging on your grandparents wall. You slowly move the wheel and the weather in the ‘spokes’ changes. Temperatures rise and fall, clouds and rain come and go, days turns to night and the moon (with proper phase) comes out. It’s the sort of weather device you might find in Harry Potter’s house. Outside of that, sun and moon rise and set times, UV, rain, snow and wind are all displayed with nice graphics. Just about everything I need is right there. I submitted some feedback and got a response within minutes. Very impressed and this will now be my go to app for weather..Version: 1.8

✓ Replacement of all my Weather AppsThis is a very well thought out Weather App! It has a ton of the features that most weather apps have, even the ones that update your weather right on the spot! Even the cute animations and sounds make the apps as well! Downside of this app: this WILL use a ton of battery VERY quickly ONLY when you're in the app. For example, I've used the app for about 15 minutes and about 7-8% of my battery has been used. It also makes the phone very hot as well. (I have a 5 month old iPhone 7 Plus, with a battery health of 100%) (This drain is expected from Apps that use your location, but I'm not too sure if it's supposed to drain it that quickly) HOWEVER, when you're NOT in the app and it's running in the background (setting your location to Always and having the app notify me about changes of the weather), your battery is completely fine and drains very slowly like before you went IN the app. So do not worry about the app draining your phone UNLESS you're actually in the app. Just remember, it is an app that uses your location if you choose to do so. So expect drains of battery life if you set your location to 'Always'..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Much like the gods, Weather Gods is beautiful but finicky.Update: reinstalling the app made reading the signs from the weather gods more consistent. The priests who write the app are quick to respond to requests for support, and are working to include the gods’ views into weather systems in the app. Original review: (was 2 stars) Even with an iPhone X, this app is about as responsive as the gods to my wishes. Regular taps and strokes don’t accomplish what I want with the app, so I resorted to first the tears and then the blood of a virgin sacrificed to see if the gods would respond to these. Appeased, they showed me the forecast and gave me insight into when the heavens would light up again. ✓ Very very annoying promptsGot this yesterday based on reviews. I like my weather apps, especially when checking up on other locations. (Difference between my home and work can be huge) So when I check up on another city, a message comes up prompting me to set the location services to always be on instead of when I’m using the app. Then I have to push the cancel button. ✓ Lovely AppThis is the only Accessible weather app I have found that includes the South Pole station which I love checking. It also means my iPad finally has a weather app! The interface could use a little tweaking; degrees Celsius spelled out every time is annoying, and the "Home" button at the bottom of the screen seems weird; where does it go? Clicking it seems to do nothing. I also can't find sunrise and sunset info or info on twilight times, but I may just not have searched hard enough. The Gods concept is unique and imaginative, and tapping on each God will show information for only the type of weather that God is responsible for, allowing the user to quickly find specific information, while the weather wheel gives a general summary of all information for each hour. Notifications are very customisable: you can easily change what the app should notify you about, when and for which locations. I enjoy the soundscapes; they add an extra dimension to the experience of checking the weather. The app is fully accessible with Voiceover, which is software that reads the screen out loud and comes installed on all iOS devices, and the developer is very active on AppleVis, a forum for visually impaired users of Apple products, where he has been very responsive to everybody's questions and suggestions. ✓ Mostly good app, with amazing potential.The layout is confusing at first, this is not designed like most weather apps; however once you overcome the learning curve it is worth it. This seems to be very accurate and I am very pleased overall. The reason this is not a 5 star review is because of a couple of things. First the Apple Watch complication only updates once an hour, I would like the option to change the update frequency since I don’t mine the battery loss. Secondly I think it would be nice to be able to change what the complication shows too, but I think the way it chooses what to present works well, so this isn’t a bug deal. Lastly I am having some issues with the app not connecting to the watch and refreshing, it is in the watch dock and location is set to always.
