✓ Counseling session with Curtis HookerI just had the most awesome counseling session with Curtis Hooker. I talked about my daughter that passed five years ago and the fact that I was the one that pushed the Tremonton Police to arrest my daughter for drug use around her two children in which got her children taken away, my oldest daughter’s bad depression right now, my mom’s death and our selling and moving experiences. 😊.Version: 12.0.627

✓ Intermountain Connect Care is the best thing ever!I have kids who are high risk for flu, one of them tested positive today at instacare and negative for strep and after a thorough evaluation with an on-site doc, the one child who has Influenza, then the PA with connect care was then able to check the records, evaluate the medical histories and I was able to get my other high risk kids prophylactic coverage without having to drag the entire family into an urgent care. 🙏 Saved us all from being exposed to who knows what else was lingering in the waiting room. ✓ So gratefulWe have been quarantined for 3 months and i was down to my last pill of depression medication. My doctor no longer was a doctor at the office I would normally see him at and didn’t know what else to do. I was going to go to the urgent care but am really nervous about covid still. ✓ ImpressedI was a little hesitant about the whole thing but I’m visiting family out of state and just needed some help for a sore throat and swollen tonsils and the doctor was awesome! You can attach pictures before you connect with the dr so she could see that my throat was red and swollen and she was so nice and helpful. The wait wasn’t bad either. Much better than in a drs office or an urgent care that I was considering. The one thing that happened was it asked for my home address which I put Utah because that’s where I live but put California as my prescription pick up location because that’s where I’m visiting, and so the dr had to cancel our initial call because those need to match. But! She said to edit that info real quick and get back in her waiting line and she’d put me in the front of her line so it all worked out great. I am not sure why I waited so long to use this app since it is included in my insurance plan for $10 a visit, but now that I have used it I will be definitely using this in the future! ✓ It was so easy!Just used the intermountain connect care app. It’s was fast and easy and I didn’t have to leave my bed. They sent my prescription over to the pharmacy and my husband was able to pick it up. All within an hour. AND with my insurance it only costed $10!! Everyone should do this!! It usually takes a couple days for me to be able to be seen at my doctors office, not with this app. The most I have waited is 15 mins when there were 2 patients ahead of me. It’s great how you can attach a picture for your doctor to see. ✓ Dry cough and sore throatI simply didn’t feel well enough to go into insta care for my cough and sore throat, so I gave this app a try and it was AMAZING! ✓ So Grateful!!!I always forget about Connect Care even though I have the app on my phone, but I am so grateful that I had this option today! I logged on at 6:45 am and saw Susan Dougherty at 7. She was patient and thorough and spent a long time helping me determine my best course of action for my awful cough. The thought of getting down to an urgent care office and sitting and worrying that I was going to have my uncontrollable coughing fits for all to worry about, just stressed me out. But, I was still in my pajamas with my coffee in hand and my trusty pup by my side when I was able to be seen. I used my phone. I will go pick up my prescription when the pharmacy opens and be ready for my day. ✓ Great AppI was so sick with the flu I didn’t want to go anywhere, and I wanted to get help within 48 hours so that I could get Tamiflu. I used the app and got help and a prescription from a friendly, knowledgeable PA within minutes. What a relief I didn’t have to go anywhere! The only glitch was when I got an incoming call, the connection paused and we thought it was lost, but after declining the call we were able to reconnect no problem. ✓ Online VisitAfter two friends recommended the online medical visit, I decided to try it. I now highly recommend it, as well. I have the flu and barely want to get out of bed let alone go to the doctors office. It was easy to add the app and didn’t take too long to fill in the necessary info. ✓ Why bother leaving your house if you don’t have to?Just a basic sinus infection... This was the most fantastic experience! I spoke to a provider from the comfort of my own home. What could be better? I didn’t have to drive anywhere or sit in a waiting room exposing myself to any new cold bug. The app was super easy to use on my iPhone. I pre-filled some medical information and then just waited about 10mins to be connected to a provider. When she came on, we had a split screen showing the two of us with her wearing a headset with microphone. She was incredibly nice and patient and gave me some good advice. I have used this online video service twice now since it came out and I love it. I can get immediate help from my own bed and be done with it. ✓ Awesome option!I’ve used Connect Care four times now and had a positive experience each time. The providers have been excellent, compassionate, listen well, and have helped me. Connect Care has saved me time and money. My copay is cheaper when I see an online provider. I can wait in the privacy of my home and the wait has always been faster than when I have gone into physical clinics. I don’t have to worry about taking my kids with me or finding child care for them. The visits take less time. The providers have also given me notes for my employer when needed. It’s perfect for things that a doctor doesn’t need to actually conduct a physical evaluation to diagnose.
