✓ Radio stations no longer connect?Update: a tonne of radio stations have stopped working. Almost every one I try has it’s own “this service is no longer in use” message playing on a loop?? Like one or two is a shame, but almost all of them makes the app near unusable. Please try and fix this! Previous review: Almost didn’t try this cause there’s one with more reviews but I’m glad I did. I assumed it wasn’t possible for an app to do what I wanted it to do- turn the phone on and start playing radio with ascending volume- because the others I tried couldn’t do that. But this one did! Even when my ringer was turned off it did exactly what I hoped it would. Only done tests so far so could be disappointed in the morning when I really need it to work but we’ll see. ✓ Don’t Review Until After A WeekI’ve seen this type of review quite a number of times. This app works well for about a week then ultimately became unreliable, never able to connect to play the radio and instead plays preset music. I have great wifi and zero connectivity issues to the internet so I’m unsure of why this cannot “connect”. If you have this app definitely set a regular alarm as a backup because the preset music is sometimes too soft no matter how loud I set the volume. An app that has been around for several years and people continuously have the same problems means no one is really monitoring or updating this app from a developer standpoint. Such a shame because I did enjoy the app when it worked!.Version: 2.6.3
✓ What good is an alarm that doesn’t work?I love all the features this app offered but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried testing it and it works fine but every time I’ve set it to wake me up, it hasn’t worked. I’ll get the short burst from the backup alarm but if that was enough to wake me up, I wouldn’t have downloaded this. I’m so disappointed because, if it worked, this would have been a lifesaver. ✓ I wish it worked!I have been looking for an alarm that allows for variety and volume control and I thought I found it with this app... BUT after two days of working just fine, it stopped, despite no changes to the settings. Instead it sends an alert ask if I forgot to enable the alarm then sits silently while I oversleep. Unfortunately it’s impossible to tell what “enable” means. The alarm is on and set to repeat daily, the app is running, and all permissions are allowed on my phone. I turned off repeat and tested it again as a one-time alarm and when it went off it said it couldn’t load the station and was going to play the background song... BUT then the station started playing and when i went to turn it off or snooze it wouldn’t register my taps so i had to press pause on the main iphone sound screen and the alarm didn’t go off again after that. ✓ Has potentialHave a love hate relationship with this app, the concept is great, and when it functions it’s perfect but there are a few pitfalls which really let it down. Firstly, it doesn’t always work which means I always have a back up alarm on aswell which is a little pointless. You have to keep it charging while in use. I would normally have my phone plugged in at night so that’s not really an issue, however its if you set a repeat alarm, it will drain your battery ALL DAY! The way I’ve got round it is to set my alarm every night rather than put it on repeat, which kind of renders that functionality entirely defunct. It’s a shame because I love the simple intuitive design, and the features it has are great in theory, but theory’s not going to get me to work on time :(.Version: 2.5.4
