✓ Surprisingly good, even with strong dialectsI wanted to test this with a strong—and some would call strange—dialect to see if it could catch it and translate accurately. (Google almost never can.) So I used my Fränkisch dialect—even turned it up a notch, actually—and the translator caught literally every word but one, and that was most likely because the phrase “gehen wir” in Fränkisch is pronounced very similarly to the word “Gamer” and that’s what the translator guessed. Overall I’m super impressed..Version: 3.0.1

✓ Nice but not 5 star even though I use it frequentlyAn excellent translator, but if you want pin yin, it can not do that. Pin yin would be a nice option. The only use of this program, for me, is Mandarin to English and back. Also I have hearing problems so a slower tempo would help. Since I am learning Mandarin a rapid speech is of no use. I would be happy to pay for a program that would use these ideas, but I would want to pay up front and not on a periodic payment plan..Version: 1.4

✓ Extremely HelpfulWhen traveling it’s difficult to try and speak another language. With this app, no matter what language, you can speak or show the word to a native of the country, and they can understand for what you’re asking. Very very useful. ✓ No Amharic VoicesI would give this app a perfect score but there are no Amharic voices. I plan on traveling to Ethiopia in the near future and I can only write in English and see what those words are in Amharic written form. That’s not going to help me if I quickly need to know how to get somewhere while in the middle of a conversation. I would like to be able to speak or write in English and the app translate and speaks in Amharic out loud, in a male voice so locals can at least somewhat understand me in the moment. I believe if I speak in Amharic and translate that into English, I do get a voice. We just need voices when speaking in English to Amharic. P.S. Yawl need to add Tigrinya as well as I will be traveling to Eritrea in the future. 👍🏽.Version: 4.5.4

✓ A lot of errors…So in Egyptian Arabic they do not say Merhaba they say izayeek so why is it saying merhaba and in Saudi Arabian they say Marhaben not merhaba and in Emirati Arabic they say Salam! Or Salamoo alaykoom and would never ever say merhaba but it’s still kinda good :| Oh and also in Saudi Arabian they say rizz as rice but it won’t translate it so…it’s getting annoying….Version: 4.2.2

Anyways, I really recommend this FREE app for people to use. There is ONE thing to remember though, it needs WiFi but I think that it is understandable because it is an excellent app to use! I really enjoy to use the app. A problem is you have to pay to learn certain things and what i mean by that is i tried to type a longer word from Japanese to english but it said to pay for it.
