✓ Too buggyOh Gratitude, how you disappointed me. I made it through the pointless move to Mojo or whatever. And I gritted my teeth when I lost five years of entries in changing versions. Now the data entry doesn’t work - pressure g rerun should enter you current entry and start the next. Instead it duplicates the current entry and locks up. I contacted the company, and no response. Really, this is enough. Waste your money if you want, but dint ware your time and memories using this buggy and uncared app that could have been really nice..Version: 1.7.6

✓ GlitchyThis is a good app but it’s super glitchy. When i write down my gratitude and close the page, all the points dissapear and don’t save. I have to go back in and write them all again. This is defeating the purpose of having a positive mindset! If they can fix the glitches then this could be a great app Update: The glitches were either a user error or they have fixed them because app works great now. Giving gratitude everyday has made me a better and more positive person. I feel great! ✓ Too buggy for me to commit toOther reviews document the many bugs and inconsistencies in this app. I’m here to verify that they’re all still there. Gratitude practice is supposed to be a serene and thoughtful process, but that’s not easy when the app you’re using to practice it is frustrating you. I hope the developer is still working on this app so we can get a more usable experience. In the meantime I am looking for another gratitude journal. ✓ DisappointedThis app used to be good. You could go back and see your history. Then one day it wiped it all out. So I started over. And now the feature where you used to be able to see all your old gratitude lists is gone. I’ve written true developer several times asking for a solution or assistance to no avail. ✓ Super glitchyI used to love this app. Now focusing on trying to get it to work distracts so much from my gratitude entry that I deleted the app. I wasn’t finding myself happier using it, only frustrated. 1) The app says I can limit its access to certain photos OR albums on my phone. So I set up an album for use with the app. But when you tap to add a photo to your journal entry, whether you select photo or album, it takes you to the camera. 2) There is not an identifiable “enter” button to save entries do you play Russian roulette and use the back button. Some functions save when you do this, some don’t. I don’t want to retype for the third time an entry I was really inspired about the first time. 3) The updates in this app, like many to be fair, are biased in favor of less privacy, more sharing and fewer obvious buttons on the screen with a function on them. Maybe it makes for a pretty screen but I want sublime ease of use the moment I open the app. I don’t want to read instructions, I don’t want to practice, that is not where I want to spend the previous hours of my life. Make it simple, easy and obvious or I’m moving on. Also, I do not want to share the entirety of my private reflections with the world via Facebook nor the advertisers who gather conglomerate data from Google. Count me out. ✓ Can’t backdate entriesA good basic app that would of been perfect if for the fact that I can’t backdate entries! Not everyone lives a 9-5 existence, and often my day doesn’t end until past midnight and I like to update my gratitude journal before bed for the day I’ve just had. ✓ Really buggyThis app is very buggy. If I notice a typo while writing, I am unable to click on the portion of a sentence where the typo occurred to fix it - I would need to delete and re-enter the entire entry because the app does not allow you to jump to different parts of the text. I also have issues lately with the app automatically filling the previous day’s entry into the text box every time I try to create a new entry. And to make matters worse, the in-app support link does not seem to be working as it would not allow me to create an account to get support despite attempting to do so with multiple browsers and on multiple devices. I have used this app for years and put up with a variety of different bugs throughout. There are so many other ways to keep a gratitude journal, and I don’t think this app is a convenient or user-friendly one for me anymore..Version: 1.8.19

✓ LandscapeEvery single other app requiring typing allows landscape yet even after many requests still not happening and it’s been quite a while. Yet the developer finds time for solicitation emails for her other projects and partners (was subscribed for update information but now it is used for other things) I use to love the app but less over last six months. ✓ Great Idea . . .But glitchy! Hope updates fix the problems. I can’t find a way to add to what I’m grateful for throughout the day. The guy on the motorcycle appears, you tap to write, and it takes you to same day, current time. It would be nice to just add to the list you’ve already started. Plus, you have a choice of format, but it reverts to bulleted list. Maybe once I’m more positive, these little things won’t bother me.🤣🤣.Version: 1.8.19
✓ I love this app but....It has a lot of glitches. Otherwise I’d have given it more stars. If you try to get help you get redirected to a website that you need to sign in to access. No problem, unless you’ve forgotten you password. Retrieve your password they’ll send you an email to rest it. That email never arrives. Ok, you can’t sign in but there is a handy little direct chat icon in the corner so I try that. You type in your query or issue and they claim to get back to you with a response as soon as possible, great. I sent mine back in January so I’m hopeful I’ll hear back any day now.... The app crashes a lot. If you don’t save your work and your phone screen goes to dark the whole app closes and you lose anything you were typing. You can’t easily go back to add or update things within a specific day. It’s very jumpy It’s not easy to go back to entries from previous years either. I love the concept of this app it really is great but it needs some tweaking and attention to iron out the issues. It may be that I’m doing something incorrectly but if I am I’ll never know as the app support is non existent..Version: 1.8.11
✓ App okay. Stay away from emailsThe app is fine and I’ve enjoyed it. I made the mistake of subscribing to the emails. Unfortunately Carla is very anti-pharmaceutical industry. No medical training but clears medicine is bad. This is irresponsible and wrong. You do you. But encouraging people to quit medication by saying the pharmaceutical industry is bad is just wrong. So I’m grateful I’ve realized this and can block all social media from her. Hopefully no one dies from following her advice..Version: 1.8.7
✓ I Tried -But DisappointingI was a longtime user of the original Gratitude app and switched over to this one since the old one was being discontinued. After following the instructions to port over my several-years worth of entries, it did not work and I lost everything (they said they were deleted all the old stuff as if Dec 2017). I’ve tried to make entries into the current app. Even though I receive emails from the developer to my email address, when I use the forgot my password prompt, I receive a link to resent my pw but it says it does not recognize me. When I try to login through Facebook it says I logged on from there orecioslyand would I like to try again—to no avail as it still does not recognize my credentials. I repeatedly receive the “Oops something went wrong. Sorry something went wrong please try again”. But there is no where to go for additional help. I wanted to love this app as I did the original and I do feel the developer is making her best effort but there are too many hoops to jump through and it is not seamless and simple as it should be. The Forbes article briefly mentions her. It shouldn't be this difficult to find where she is mentioned. Carla, please provide links on your website to where you are mentioned in these articles- There is nothing but images of the media logo names. ✓ Just downloaded, seems buggy already?I love the concept, but already frustrated with the fact that you can’t edit the text of the previous line. Based on other reviews it looks like this bug was reported a long time ago and the developer was working on it... but that was over a year ago so I guess they’ve stopped? ✓ I love this!Colourful with lots on entry options such as pics, emojis & text. It’s easy to use and takes little time. Less than writing in my journal. However, few quirks. Spellcheck highlights words but makes no suggestions for edit, tap to change fields requires you to press for curser to be moved and it doesn’t actually post the daily quote to social media. ✓ App crashing, not uploading photos, and then not opening at allI’ve been using this app daily for over eight years daily and am currently unable to even open it. I bought it and paid again to have the next version which was simply rude. At the time I felt cheated by this. Still I persisted not wanting to lose all my entries or convert to an alternative. A few days ago it stopped uploading photos. Then it stopped saving entries. I deleted the app. Updated it and restarted my phone but now it won’t open. I get the header and a blank screen then it closes automatically without any photos or entries visible. After years of daily practice with it I feel not just disappointed but exceedingly annoyed that now I have been unable to use it or retrieve anything for over five days! It has always had glitches and erratic behaviour and I have regularly updated both my phone and the app. I’ve tried all the suggestions offered and feel far from gratitude and actually cheated..Version: 1.8.23
✓ Very disappointedI purchased this journal because I saw it on a show that said it was highly rated. I have so many bugs with it, that my patient after 3 weeks is over. It keeps changing dates on my input. That happened right away so I triple checked every day I selected and when I go back in the app on another day the date is not what I selected, it’s changed to a day in the next week. This happens more than not. It also is difficult to spell correct, doesn’t always work. Can’t select all and get whole list, only one item at a time, which makes it time consuming to move when the date changes. Cursor issues. For such a simple app, there are too many things wrong with it. I can use a spreadsheet easier, which is what I will do. ✓ Used the original app & paid for this oneOne of the main reasons I got this app (paying) was the emojis. They can only be used when a photo is used. I contacted the developer a couple of times & was assured she was working on it. Then I was told I probably didn’t realize she was a single Mom. I’m not sure how not following thru on a promise is related ? Now an update to emojis BUT not w/out a photo. Guess she’s busy on one of her many spams about her other projects. ✓ Forced to pay to get my data back,I had Carla’s old Gratitude app, & made beautiful memories. Carla retired the app & made new version which I had to pay for to get my old entries back! I reluctantly did -it felt wrong to be forced to pay AGAIN to access MY data? I eventually got my entries back (no I didn’t have 2 log ins) ❤️Trust❤️ is important when journaling. Who knows if Carla will start an annual subscription charge & we will be forced into paying more money? On the positive side the app is pretty, being grateful is a beautiful habit to form which I would encourage you all to do 😊. Carla also blocked me on twitter?? ✓ I want to give this app 5 stars but...I really do I love the concept, I love how you can schedule a Reminder and the design. I think it’s so smart that it goes straight into a “list mode” to write down what you are grateful for. The problem is once you start using the app, I’ve found several bugs and issues that I’m sure the developers can easily fix. The first one is how when you get a notification or reminder and you tap on it the app opens but freezes. So you have to manually close the app and open it again Second is when you are writing down a list of things you are grateful for you press enter to add another bullet point but it does nothing so you do it again and it does nothing well in fact it is doing what’s supposed to do but the screen doesn’t scroll down with it so you have repeated bullet points that you have to manually enter. Can throw you off your train of thought tremendously. Third the passcode seems to lag when you enter each digit. Annoying because it’s not as fast. Face ID implementation would be great I’m shocked it doesn’t even have Touch ID. Lots of free apps do. There are other smaller ones but these are the main ones. I hope the dev can read this and get these fixed until then unfortunately it’s a 1 star app..Version: 1.8.7
✓ It’s okIt’s cute and a nice way to list the things you’re grateful for. My only gripes are that I can’t go back and edit an entry without having to delete everything just to get to the one word I want to change (can’t just touch the screen to get to/highlight a word or sentence I want to alter), notification badges don’t always disappear after I’ve been on the app, and after I enter my birthday it doesn’t save it. ✓ Def not grateful for this app.I typed something for twenty minutes without the ability to move my cursor backwards, which is itself a huge pain. I can only write content in a billeted or numbered list, I cannot do a mixed page where I write something, then use a list, then something else and use another list. I cannot do nested lists. And the best part, I typed 20+ minutes and turned off the screen because I had to walk a bit. When I got back to the app, all the content was gone. So the app doesn’t save anything. ✓ Instant uninstall...Why can’t I write a gratitude journal without sharing my email address with the developer? The app won’t even let you get through the first journal entry until you “sign up”. For what? My journal is for me, I don’t want to share it, sync it, etc. (my phone is already backed up). If you skip signing up when you install, the only “function” the app performs from that point on is nagging you to sign up - there is nothing you can do. ✓ Needs fixingI’ve been trying for some time to contact the developer with no luck - there is no email anywhere to be found. It feels like the developer doesn’t want to be contacted. The app used to be great but now it has so many glitches that aren’t getting fixed. The most annoying one for me is this: I start an entry and when I want to come back to this entry to add more words and photos it wouldn’t let me add more photos! (I know about the maximum of 6 photos for one entry). Because the bar to chose an image from gallery simply disappears! The bar is present initially but when I close the app and open it up again there is no bar that allows me to chose an image. Carla, can you please fix this?.Version: 1.8.20
✓ Was greatBut now it has a strange glitch. When I hit the plus to write today’s gratitude entry, half the time it brings up yesterday’s entry as today’s draft. Closing, not saving the draft, and starting again clears it. Not broken, but annoying..Version: 1.8.19
