✓ Very powerful tool for exploring the outdoorsI have been using Gaia for about three years now and could not be happier. I have used it with great success for recording hikes, runs, skis, and climbs. It is a great navigation tool. I have found it vital for reaching obscure trailheads, retracing our steps down Mt. Rainier and Nevado Tocllaraju in total whiteouts, and choosing the safest routes for winter travel. There are hundreds of downloadable layers such as slope angle, snow depth, snow/rain/smoke forecasts, recent satellite, and many, many others. You can map out routes and set waypoints, set areas, overlay .gpx files. The applications are endless. The subscription also comes with an account for Outside+, which has numerous interesting films about climbing, skiing, and other sports. Gaia is the best of the best. Any reviews with less than five stars are simply wrong..Version: 2023.2
