✓ DissappointedI bought this for the postman integration, but I would suggest against it. I wish it would’ve let me test my postman collection before I purchased it. The app doesn’t replace post data values with environment variables, so unfortunately none of my post requests are working. I would not buy the pro feature of this app if you plan on using its postman integration..Version: 2.1.1

✓ Helpful but buggyThis app is really helpful for developers seeking to understand public APIs or test their own. Unfortunately significant bugs undermine the value of the Pro upgrade. Selecting the response filter icon causes the app to consistently crash on my iPhone XR, so I cannot inspect JSON files. The web inspector does work (and provides very interesting information) but once you navigate to a web page, it’s not clear how to return to other features of the app, so you have to kill it and restart. The free version of the app is very useful, but the Pro version is currently too buggy to recommend..Version: 1.4.2

✓ Great tool, needs some workI’ve worked with various http clients over time but I’ve loved the experience and streamlined interface as well as the sync across Mac, iPad and iPhone. My one grievance is the amount of bugs on the platform. Especially on Mac. The bugs and crashes make it hard to store global settings and make it my go to http client. I have paid the subscription for using Postman but I can't link the account on my mac but I did linked it on my iPad. From the iPad, when I try to import the collections from Postman, it fails. ✓ The worst app on the App StoreAmongst all the apps that exist on the App Store, HTTPBot is the worst of them all. It looks deceptively beautiful on the outside. It looks like precisely what you need. But on the inside, it is the largest mess that you could ever imagine. The integration with Shortcuts doesn’t work at all. Variables don’t work at all. You will waste hours of frustration on this app and will have nothing at all to show for it. Absolutely nothing whatsoever is documented. The dev ignores every email he is sent. I’m surprised Apple hasn’t delisted it yet..Version: 2022.2.1
✓ Good app but glitches and bugs need fixedSince the most recent major update, the app has gotten slow and glitchy. It frequently freezes and on 3 occasions has just stopped working completely, in which case I’ve had to just delete and redownload the app, and having to start from scratch again. It’s a great app otherwise, but would just be great if these bugs could be fixed as they’re making it very unreliable..Version: 2020.4.3

✓ Showing signs of ageI once rated this app quite highly. Unfortunately my experience using it with the latest iOS hasn't been great. Requests will often refuse to save, URLs in an imported Postman collection have their domain stripped and navigating the app reveals various small UI quirks and parts that don't work as they should (e.g. adding requests to favourites). Unless an update/overhaul is forthcoming, I wouldn't recommend this app going forward..Version: 2022.2.1
✓ Nice functionality but the documentation is poorAlmost impossible to find what ‘variable’ parameter means when running HTTPBot through iOS shortcuts. Documentation in app or on website is non-existent (not as in there’s very little documentation, but as in there’s literally zero documentation pages nor sections). Googling does not help. Support and user community is small. Finally, even on their website where they say environmental variables can be saved (maybe a hint at what variables might mean), there’s no clear way to do that in the iOS app..Version: 2022.1.3
✓ Useful but needs support for uncoding URLsI use a URL which includes space and semicolon characters to delimit parameters. These need to be encoded as %20 and %3b respectively. If I enter a string I can type these % sequences manually; this is tedious but it works - the first time. But then I “save” the escaped URL and my escaped characters revert back to space and semicolon. In this condition the URL no longer works (rejected by the server). Would be good if the app had an option to perform the escaping and it should preserve the escaping during a ‘save’.Version: 2021.1
