✓ Great, except…The functionality is wonderful, but I miss two things I learned to expect back in the days I used my TI-89 Titanium: seeing past calculations after closing the app and reopening it, and being able to pull the results of a previous calculation down & build on them. Instead, I need to write the equation in full every time I want to see it or build on it..Version: 6.8.0

✓ My favorite scientific calculatorI was very glad to find the Desmos Scientific calculator in the App Store. It has a wide range of usage and is very helpful. However my biggest complaint would be the buttons are too small. They should have an option of turning the screen horizontal and have the buttons be bigger.Version: 6.0.3
✓ Very good, but could have some improvementsThis app is very good so far. However, here are my suggestions. “Expression open, “needs to be announced by voiceover whenever clicking into an active expression. Braille mode should not have to be toggled on and off in settings when using a braille display. of course, I am using an iPhone 8 plus. I have not downloaded the graphing calculator app yet, but I will do so when I can. I see this being helpful for my future students, and a replacement (if not an add-on) to the Orion TI 38 talking graphing calculator, and the Orion TI 34 talking scientific calculator..Version: 6.8.0

✓ My fourth evaluation finally wins!I was looking for a calculator that would let me do some basic algebra, then take the arccos of the result and show the value in degrees. I thought it was a pretty simple ask but three other calculators failed me. Finally I found this one and my problem is solved. I’m docking one star because the UI got a little confused when I wanted to wrap a whole fraction In parentheses. It assumed I wanted to put them around the numerator or denominator. ✓ Punches above its weightThis is a great little calculator – and by 'little', I mean very efficiently programmed into just 7.4MB. The result is a clean looking app without distraction, making it very fast, so long as one has become accustomed to the slightly unintuitive need to click the input line to correctly enter roots, for example. By default, I prefer 'Projector Mode' because the keys are bigger; this despite the slight loss of historical real estate. I've been updating regularly but I would like to express some concern that the boot-up graphics seem to be taking longer. Every time I upgrade, my heart is in my mouth that I'm taking a gamble that it might not be a good move*. *I should add that this is partly due to a tendency for many app developers to introduce unwanted clutter; but so far Desmos has not over-stepped the mark; so THANKS!.Version: 6.4.3

✓ Layout funky, ads horrible...For anyone who has the muscle memory from using 10-key, this will infuriate you...and let’s not forget the slide-up ad that just always seems to know when you’re going for the ‘equals’ key, and pops right on up in front of it. I could go on and on about the ads, but that is the theme of these reviews, so not necessary. There are multiple other apps I would recommend before this one, but for educational purposes, Desmos is the most thorough and accredited...and exponentially better than this one..Version: 6.4.4
✓ Almost ThereThis is a great app, a standard scientific calculator with almost all the functions you will need. One complaint I have is that there is no log_(n) function. It’s very annoying to have to write loga/logn every time I want a base that is not 10. Please add this! Other than that, a great app, I use it all the time..Version: 6.8.0

✓ Great but need more featuresAwesome idea, but it would be useful to number outputs so we can refer back to them. For example, "ans" only refer to the output above, and putting variables for each output is inconvenient. Something like ans(6) or %6 (Mathematica syntax) would be convenient. Also, it lacks the ability to create and save multiple notebooks like the Desmos graphing app. That would be a useful addition.
