Once downloaded I did have problems with the app not seeing my TV. I sent a message to the support team and under 10 minutes I received a reply. To be honest I was gob smacked to get a reply so quickly. Going back to the issue, this was also quickly diagnosed by the support team and it was a simple setting on my TV that needed to be toggled to on. The main limitation is there is about a 3 second lag between what’s shown on your phone and the TV. So playing games or doing work presentations with it wouldn’t work. My OLED has a massive screen, so there’s a bit of a border around the picture when streaming live content but it doesn’t bother me. The picture quality is sharp - lags about 3 seconds behind iPhone. My advice is to turn to down the brightness and sound on your phone so that it doesn’t distract you from the TV. Can’t complain for a fiver. The default mirror screening in the iPad and iPhone is extremely tempermental and something that needs to be improved with the link between these devices and the tv. However the app works very well. There is a short lag between what is showing on the iPad screen and the tv but you get used to that. Also found that you can’t use FaceTime or Zoom properly as there is no sound on the tv. ✓ Mirroring AppUPDATE I have used this app for other things and I believe i was rather too harsh i accept that it is a third party app that caused the delay but lots f other apps work really well and the best of it is they work first time so I have updated my review This works ok but there is a noticeable delay which does not help when doing Zoom Meetings and i assume because of the delay that is the reason the sound down not transfer across as well.
