✓ Best app for film lovers!Discovered this app recently. Love this simplicity of it and the fact you can take photos directly off the app and edit existing photos. I am interested in getting into film photography, so this is a great way to practise. I love the effects, would be great to be able to adjust more, but I guess that’s the way of film. I always have people ask me what app I use for my photos and it’s simple yet extremely effective and pretty. Makes photography fun for everyone! ✓ Subtle dreamy filterReally nice simple film app, puts a gentle touch on your photos ( for those saying you can’t use on pre existing camera roll photos , that’s not true , you can just click the + button and choose from camera roll) Has a random effect so if you upload one photo and don’t like the effect, you can upload it again for a different result. It will play with the light and colour and level of graininess. Or just take another photo. The filter is usually very subtle and not too overbearing and tacky as some filter can be. So far I just use the free one. Would be nice if you could zoom, and also adjust focus with front facing camera. ✓ AestheticThe app itself is very minimalistic and aesthetic, and the filters have a very warm tone which resembles more of the real old cameras back in the day, unlike HUJI film or other vintage camera apps that use a lot of green and yellow tints. The icons are confusing a lil bit at the first but you’ll get used to it. Some of the filters are not free tho, but you can get some of it for free just by watching 30 ads per filter. I just wish that the front camera has more options like using the blur option, and also it would be nice to have an option for turning off the saving for every photo on your camera roll..Version: 1.9.5

✓ It's a fun "film" app to useI was looking for another 'Gudak' and 'Kontakt' type of app for my phone when I came across this one. If you're like me and want a quick and fun to use app that produces an almost film like photograph, I'd recommend this app. Some people find it tricky to use at first - it took me around ten minutes to understand every little feature - but you'll soon get the hang of it. Not every filter is free. I think four are and around two or three (I can't remember) are to be paid for, and I'm assuming a few will be if you watch a few advertisements first. Tbh, I haven't got the hang of that part yet, but I'm going to keep on trying in hopes of a few more free filters. ✓ Great vibes!I used to be a big Huji fan but I grew out of the excessive blue tone Polaroid look and wanted something more tan toned and Calla is perfect for that. There are some paid filters and some missions where you watch ads 30 times to unlock ONE filter. The 30 times worth of ads is super annoying but I actually love the filter that was unlocked by it.
