Based on Ken Follett's world-bestseller, ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ retells the story of the village of Kingsbridge in a whole new interactive way. Together with the disgraced noblewoman Aliena, Jack and Philip begin the construction of one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see.

The game is fairly longer than most point-and-click adventures, which makes it well worth the price. There is some replay value as you can make a number of decisions affecting the outcome of certain chapters. I'm interested in watching and reading the entire series now that I've finished the game!.Version: 3.1

✗ Glacially paced and dullThere are some nice graphics, but this is slow, clunky and dull. Interactions are limited, and it’s rather like one of those books where you turn to a different page according to the choice you make. Only after an hour or so, I really couldn’t care, and all I could focus on was the waste of money. Now it says there is an update, but nothing seems to download. I appreciate that it takes a long time to build a cathedral, but at least the result makes it worthwhile. Life is too short for this game..Version: 1.1.46
