ColorSlurp for Negative User Reviews

Good color picker app but needs workThis app is a little clunky. It doesn't sync well across all your devices. I really struggle to save pallets correctly. It's a learning curve to remember how to get it to work properly. Switching between pallets isn't intuitive. I paid for the Pro account to be able to use across all my devices, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I hope improvements are made..Version: 3.9.2

Wonderfull app but...Whi the big sur update the free version is more limited thant ever ! stop making thing costing money if it not worth it.Version: 3.0.1

Quick and simple just needs multiple display refinementRuns quick and simple, which is why I chose ColorSlurp over alternative color pickers. Multiple displays support needs some refinement however, to fix the dissappearing picker (and consequently system cursor) momentarily when moving between displays..Version: 2.2.1

Good, but ruined with the slurp noiseOn the whole I like the product, but the slurp sound is irritating. If you use it in the office other people hear it too which is embarrassing..Version: 3.9.2

Needs syncing badlyIs a really nice app but (and it's a bug but) I need to be able to share colours/palettes between my machines. Please add a sync option otherwise I cannot use this..Version: 2.2.1

Crashed when I select picker toolUnable to use as it crashes everytime I select the picker tool.Version: 3.4.0

Frankly... disappointedThere does not appear to be a way to show colours in the palette in decimal hsb format. The panel is locked into % values and there is no preference setting to fix this. Pointless paying for PRO for 20 color formats, when the pallete can't show them. V. annoying. Will seek refund from Apple Store..Version: 2.2.1

OK for Artists, but lacking important featuresAs far as I can tell, exporting the color sets, so you can run color slurp on another machine is not possible. There's also no tools to choose complimentary, analogous colors based off your current color. This app essentially only holds colors you load in and doesn't help you build out a palette, you'll need another program for that..Version: 2.2.1

Just gets buried behind other appsImpossible to use, just gets buried behind other apps, colour picker disappears when I switch to the window with the image I need to extract colours from. Basically useless unfortunately, totally unintuitive..Version: 3.6.0

Not workingNOT WORKING: The color picker stuck in one spot as soon as you enbale it and can't be moved. It feels like the computer is crashed but escape would exit the eyedrop mode and everything goes back to the begining..Version: 2.2.1

Why does it need Screen Recording Permission? It's very suspicious that it need screen recording when other software like DevWatch or others doesn't require it. I think this permission is unneeded and I advise others who use to software to reconsider. Very strange.ro.Version: 2.2.1

Can't work out how to use magnifierHow do you use the magnifier on the iPad version? The instructions say to select at the top of the window – but what window? Is the iPad version different? If so, where are the instructions for the iPad version?.Version: 1.5.1

Incorrect coloursThis app fails in its main purpose, that is to pick colours correctly. It uses the sRGB profile for colour picking instead of the native monitor profile - you have to pay to be able to use the native one. Anyone who uses a monitor profile other than sRGB (all Macs and good/recent monitors come with their own calibrated colour profile) will have an incorrect colour picked. You can verify this with Digital Color Meter (it's an app that comes already installed on your Mac, just use Spotlight to run it). To get correct colous you have to get the Pro version AND go into Preferences and change it to use native profile, so I bet everyone who ever used this app has picked incorrect colours without even realising..Version: 3.2.1

DisappointedI've been looking for a color picker to replace Color Snapper. Despite the myriad of fornats available, the picker itself seems basic. For example, in both iOS and macOS here is no way to live preview any format other than hex. To view an RGB value in iOS, you have to pick the colour, copy the picked colour to the clipboard, then paste this in a text editor. in macOS it's marginally better as the colours show in the menu bar app, but there is no way of live previewing HSL values, which is main main use case..Version: 3.8.0

Irritating beyond beliefOnly opens on the desktop, can't move it to a different window, so if you're trying to color pick from an application or other window it's utterly redundant. Literally what is the point of this app if basic functionality does not exist. What a rip off.Version: 3.9.2

Doesn't pick coloursIt only picks colours from my Desktop wallpaper, not from any open windows like from an image or web page I have open. Is this because it's not compatible with the latest Mac OS (64 bit)?.Version: 2.2.0

IndispensableUn outil indispensable pour graphsite averti. Denis Leclerc.Version: 3.0.2

Decent and fully-featured with a few sore disappointmentsThis was initially a squarely 4 star app. Fully featured but some poor UX here and there, often taks far too many clicks to get where you want, and many features are hidden behind discrete menus when most of the different views/menus should all just be delivered in the same space. There's also some poor terminology used here and there ie 'shades' instead of luminosity. Critically, this app has interrupted my workflow several times asking for rating & review (which I have already provided multiple times) which has cost me more time than the app has already saved me. I even paid for PRO. I've had to adjust my rating to reflect this massive inconvenience..Version: 3.8.0
