Fantastic app, but unfairLove this app and how it gets me to focus on the positive aspects of my day. It is frustrating to find that I paid $6 for the “full app”, that is just access to calendar view, and it is now available to all users for free. Would give 4 stars if I haven’t been screwed over..Version: 1.1

Meditation don’t work with headphones.Love the app and having an easy place to focus on GEM nightly. However, very frustrating that the meditations only come through phone speaker and don’t work with earphones or airpods..Version: 2.0.5

Brilliant, simple and effectiveHave always used this app, but the update in March 2019 has made it even better. An effective and enjoyable way to stay on track with daily mindfulness, gratitude and empathy! Also a brilliant tool to look back on the small things and appreciate them whenever you feel the need to.Version: 2.0.3

A good daily reminder but could do with some updatesI have really enjoyed the app where it has now become an important daily part of my day. I love how it has different reflective questions to avoid boredom which I can experience answering the same apps everyday. A few suggestions that would enhance the app: having the ability to add an emotion that isn’t listed as I often feel the available options do not align with how I’m feeling. Being able to go back on days to add them. I’ve at times forgotten to press done when I’ve entered info. When it’s the next day you then can’t log that info for the day it was.Version: 2.1.2

Great concept but meditation section could be modifiedWould it be possible to allow users to log meditations that have completed outside of the app? I use insight timer as my preferred meditation app and would like to continue to use that..Version: 2.1.2

Love!Love the app - little thing, I can never get the exercise toggle to move without the whole page swiping. An adjustment might need to be made for this to work smoothly. Otherwise 5 star!!!!!.Version: 1.2.1

Great app... but meditation :-/I love this app, am using it daily while I wait for my book to arrive in the mail. The meditation can be improved a tad boring. And also doesn’t work with headphones, have tried AirPods and plug in apple headphones... still only comes through the speaker. I have iPhone 11 that is up to date with software so believe it’s in the app and not the phone. Happily using CALM as my go to meditation app. Regardless would recommend this app in a heartbeat.Version: 2.0.5

User friendly for all ages and technological abilitiesThis app is great and focuses on the ‘gem’ principles without getting over complicated. I would suggest having the capability to be able to access your profile on numerous devices. I downloaded it onto my iPad first then later onto my iPhone, but the accounts didn’t link so I’m relying on always having my iPad to enter my daily updates. After all we don’t want to miss our runs of regular entries by having separate profiles on different devices..Version: 2.1.2

Great app with a couple of limitationsReally useful in assisting to reflect on gratitude, empathy, etc each day. On my second day I didn’t get a chance to complete it and wanted to do so the following morning, but couldn’t go back to the previous day which was a bit of a limitation. Also would be great if the app sent out reminders which the user could switch on or off, decide how many they would prefer, etc. Overall a great app to support a regular gratitude practice..Version: 2.1.2

Great reminder- especially when things are so tough in lockdownI hadn’t Used this app for awhile, but have read the resilience project and subscribe to their emails. After struggling in lockdown, and with a recent disappointment on missing out on something I really wanted I was inspired to pick this up again. Practicing the GEM principal's makes a difference on my mental health significantly. Thank you for this. Also I should add I heard Hugh on the 3pm pick up and he suggested an activity about acceptance. Write down all the things worrying you at the moment. The ones you can’t control you put a strike through. Don’t waste your time on these ones- they are out of your control & the sooner you can accept that the better..Version: 2.1.2

Great but needs varietyDownloaded after listening to the great speech made by the developer at my club. Love the journal and writing down thoughts and recording emotions. However the meditations is where it’s lacking. Needs more to keep it interesting and not just the same thing every few days. Also would be nice to go in and listen to one if you wanted to not just as part of daily journal.Version: 1.2.1

Great App!This is a rally great app I downloaded after listening to Hugh at a conference. There are some features missing that would really improve the overall usage of the app. 1. Add Notifications. I know this goes against mobile mental health. But it would be great to have this as a reminder to complete diary entries and to practice mindfulness daily. 2. Apple Health App integration This would make life easier instead of having to manually enter mindfulness tracking in the app. Other than the above 2 recommendations for app improvement. I highly encourage anyone who wants to improve their overall mental health to download this app and start using today..Version: 2.0.5

Portrait no LanscapeThis app only works in portrait mode. I have a keyboard attached to my case and it only works in landscape. However this app does turn to landscape when you use it. Would be a better experience if the app were to turn to and from portrait and landscape mode. Overall decent app however it tends to repeat itself with the questions..Version: 2.1.2

Entirely beneficial.I have loved reflecting back on my day and scanning back through previous days/weeks etc to revisit my moments of gratitude. I would love a function to download all of my ‘gratitude’ and ‘empathy’ entries to a PDF file to print out to have a hard copy of..Version: 2.1.2

Love it but....Love, love, love my RP app & have been using it for 376 days now. Installed the update today but when I tried to do the GEM meditation the app keeps crashing. So I tried to do a meditation through the menu & it scrolls through the time but there’s no sound 🤷‍♀️ Hope you can get these issues sorted asap, I love my daily meditations..Version: 2.0.1

Needs variety in mediation.Loving using this app however I am defaulting to the breathing exercise and then using a separate mindfulness app. I haven’t overly enjoyed the mindfulness sessions here and feel they could be improved in audio quality as well as the variety of sessions. I do like the variety of the gratefulness and empathy questions and hope they continue to vary as I’m only one week in..Version: 2.1.2

UpgradeLove RP! 2 points with the upgrade. 1. When checking in for day GEM - click mindfulness, the app crashes. 2. Meditations - once the phone screen goes off so does the meditation. Do we need another upgrade?.Version: 2.0.0

Love this app but please add cloud backupMy 11yo son and I LOVE this app and the entire practice of daily GEM journaling. Could you please add either a login that you can use to securely store the information entered into the app (and then you can login on various devices) and/or cloud back up. I hate the thought that all of our journaling could be lost if anything happens to my phone.Version: 2.1.2

New userHave just started using this app with our whole family…. Including 3 teenage boys after reading the book. I would love to see Device time as one of the check in sections along with exercise, sleep and healthy eating. So important for everyone, especially teenagers, to stop and think about how much time they have actually spent on a screen each day..Version: 2.1.2

Great, simple app - but why is mindfulness limited to wifi?Really like the app. Simple, minimalist - increases prospect it’ll be used each day. I can’t access the mindfulness activity through 4G. This is disappointing, as sometimes I want to do a mindfulness activity when I’m away from home and only have 4G available. It seems unnecessary to limit it to wifi..Version: 1.2
