✓ My favorite posing appEasy Poser is my favorite app for pose referencing! I love the sliders and the preset poses, but especially the animation. In the future though I’d love for there to be an option to position the models by touch, and use the sliders for slight modifications. I hope one day they add another pair of models that have the realistic look of the “super hero” models but the physique of the standard models, and add a height slider. The ability to make custom models with sliders would be amazing, but I imagine that’d be pretty difficult to implement. I think that now, though, focusing on adding more options for hair/props/accessories should be the priority. I appreciate that they continue to update the app frequently and I have no regrets about purchasing the pro version. Keep up the great work!.Version: 1.1.91
✓ I love this app so much!I really do love this app! I’ve been using it for some time now, however I have found that it crashes every time I try to open it; it hadn’t done this any time before, and I believed that I had solved the issue by re-installation, as it allowed me to use it without problems. ✓ Honestly impressedHonestly love this app like a lot , mostly use this whilst I'm in art block, and it rlly helps , BUT the poses are super stiff , I mean they do kinda look super basic y kno , I used to use this a while ago and it worked perfectly it now it just seems kinda basic , but eh I still like it! ✓ Great butI think this is an amazing app, one of the best out there for free especially. I wouldn’t say you absolutely need all the addons but to each their own. There’s so much that’s done great or good BUT, I do wish you could do more with the faces. So far it’s just colors, wigs, eyeglasses, and moving the pupils in a 6x6 set of square thing. I wish it was more free with choosing where the eyes are pointed like circle or pointer option. But most importantly I wish you could open the mouths of the human(oid) models. The mouth being the most challenging part of a human to make especially in just a few of its various kinds expressions. Even if just a preset set of expressions or sets would be great! ✓ One improvement to be madeThis is a good app to help with figures and it works fluently. One small request I have is a tool to help with body types. This can help give a general idea on how muscle and fat sit on a person rather than have a standard figure. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just something to consider for the future. ✓ A great app but one problemI’ve been using the app for maybe a little over a week now and it’s impressive. There are plenty of things you can do even if you don’t have Pro. The one issue I’ve encountered though is that after a couple times of using the app it will start logging me off. It doesn’t even open up to the starting screen before it shuts off an brings me back to home. The only way I’ve been able to resolve this problem is deleting and then reinstalling the app which isn’t what I want to do. At first it worked for the first couple of days but now it doesn’t even work at all. It lets me on the app for a couple of seconds before it brings me back off and that’s no exaggeration. ✓ Payment lagI don’t usually write reviews, well technically I don’t write reviews at all but this one is an exemption. Every time I open the app I see that is not the pro version even tho I’ve paid for it, it shows some ads and well the normal things like limited poses, then I go to pay for it and it says that I already own the pro version that I can download it for free. I have to do this every time I open the app, I wonder if there is an update coming soon that can fix that. It don’t bother me much but is just a lag I wanted to point out. ✓ I wish there were more sizing optionsI’ve been using this app for a while now, and I have to say I definitely feel it’s a great one. I don’t necessarily have many problems with the app so much as a few things I wish it did include. (Let me also add that I’m not entirely sure what Pro entails, so forgive me if this is already an option.) One of which is sizing. And by that, I mean the width of certain body parts, say how thick or thin an arm is, or how long or short. How big or small the bust is, legs, head width and length, etc. As an artist that has a very difficult time drawing correct anatomy, I can’t seem to redraw the same character with the same body type, and I don’t want every separate character I draw to have the exact same body. The second is something mentioned a lot in the reviews: mouths and facial expressions. I have a very difficult time drawing open mouths without the face looking disproportions, so a reference on that would be extremely helpful. The only real question I have is about the finger posing. Is that a Pro Only benefit? I haven’t been able to find how to pose them, but I noticed one of the preview photos when downloading the app shows an ability to pose the fingers and joints. ✓ Could use a size adjuster for parts of the bodyThough you can make the feet, hands, and head bigger and smaller and the body all together, it would be cool to be able to also adjust the other sixes of the body. Such as the thighs, waist, and stomach width. All the body’s are skinny and it would make it easier to have different body types without having to warp when I’m done making a pose. ✓ Personally the best posing app I’ve come across.The app has many features and is really good for human posing; many different models along with poses and customizations that can be applied. The only qualm I see with the app is its limited range of fantasy creatures and limited clothing options but personally I find the pros out way the cons by a long shot. Very intuitive and easy to use, and there’s a wide variety of models in the shop for cheap prices, which makes it well worth it to buy them. One suggestion, I would like to see a new set of models for some more basic animals. Cats, dogs, rabbits, and perhaps some birds and mice. ✓ Its an amazing app but...I absolutely love this app so much. It has helped so much with my drawing and its so easy to use! There is just one problem, i will open it just once and it will work fine. If i close it and try to get back in, it crashes. The only way to fix this is to delete and reinstall which is a hassle after the 4th or 5th time. ✓ Good costumer service.I really want to get better at drawing poses and 5 dollars isn’t a lot to invest in an app for easy adjustable material from the pro version. So I bought it. The thing was when I went back into the app I for some reason lost my pro like the app reset. I emailed the company and they got back to me the same day. I showed them proof of purchase and id and they restored my lost pro. So I’m pleased that I didn’t lost 5 bucks and I’m pleased that they were an actual help. The app itself is pretty nice. I’ve used this app since early 2019 for almost every digital art project; for both posing references *and* the lighting options. ✓ Simple, useful and always available.I’ll admit that I wasn’t optimistic about this app because theres lots of poor posers out there. Turns out I was very wrong. While I use a different and slightly more robust anime poser app on my pc, I end up using this one often because it’s always available on my ipad. The gear like controls take a bit of getting used to but overall they’re uncomplicated and don’t look unnatural when adjusted. Everything is clearly shown and easy to find. The models look good and having hair options and a range of poses really helps get the ball rolling. Also happy with the body types as I work on manga styled sketches and the more grounded body types of other apps aren’t a good fit at all. My only wish is for slightly more exaggerated wide angle sliders for fisheye or wide lens looks. Sure the poses on there are already great and they have many but they look stiff and don’t have much to them. I feel like if you add life to the poses you already have and have more verity more people will use the app. and I don’t mean just add it to the pro version and it to the free version. You have so many beginner artists who are younger and aren’t capable of getting a job and by constantly updating the pro version your not gonna keep them. There is a posing program I have where I can adjust everything from face shapes to body (chest, stomach, legs, fit, heavy, etc.). I feel that the anime figures are ok but having only one “true to life” is bothersome. And that it’s fit figure only. I’d like more adjustments. Sometimes the shoulders are difficult to get right. They seem to fold like paper when tweaking. Movement limitations would be nice. More hair options as well. My only other recommendation would be gravity. If a female figure bends, her hair and breast should move accordingly. They seem to just stay rather stiff. The hair moves “a bit” but not that much..Version: 1.4.62

✓ Great for drawingsI love being able to pose the characters and objects anyway i like, it gives me the freedom to do ANYTHING i want with the characters and objects, if i could give this a higher rating i would. This is a 10/10 app and i recommended it to everyone that’s beginning or even an expert at drawing. The only downside of this is after you watch an ad and unlock what you need and leave the app you need to watch an ad to get it again, but that’s ok i can deal with that. Some things that I think would be cool to be added are -Skeleton model -Facial expressions -The option to limit the model from moving beyond human capacity -weight / thickness options -basic shoes and clothes -more hand settings -and if the app models are feeling super generous, some basic animal models would be super cool. ✓ Posing perfect, highly recommendThis works excellent for those who are looking to make their own custom poses for their drawings. Get rid of your wood mannequin and try this out. Free version is great, but paid version is much better and highly recommended. Being able to change hairstyles, hairstyle color, body color and eye color is very nice. Being able at least put on one pair of clothes on is a nice touch as well. Animations are just awesome and fun to watch. Haveing the ability to make a few anime or manga like facial expressions would be such an awesome feature to have for this app. Please make this possible in a future update. It will really help an artist create poses with emotion. How about a clothes pack, a swimsuit pack or a hat pack be added for the store. Now with this app it helps me to be able to draw out my characters a whole lot better, well mostly. I do notice a few things that I think would be nice to improve and to hopefully add. 1.the legs of the characters need to be evened our. The lower half of the leg looks a little short (maybe some sort of resize option would be nice) 2.some sort of facial expression options would be nice as well 3.more vehicles would be great (I don’t know if adding in cars would be possible) 4.different eyes to select would be nice. ✓ My thoughtsThis application is great for personalizing references. The quality of the models are also very good! From my personal experience I usually only pose around 2 models at a time as it takes long with the slider mechanic (May just be me personally) Using it for a while you’d get used to it. This lives up to its name as an Easy Poser, it’s simple to use if your just looking for a quick reference using the varying models. If you a patient (In which Art should be done) this is a great tool to use. My final ranking would be a 4.5. My only down side thoughts are models getting deformed (mainly wrist joints) and the slider mechanic. Other than that, I recommend trying this application out!.Version: 1.4.20
✓ NiceNice app! The controls are easy to grasp and the preset poses are fantastic. There’s just two little problems I’m having: 1) Even if I switch to male poses, my model is still female. I’m not entirely sure if it’s a glitch or me doing something wrong. 2) When you try to do certain poses, or twist limbs a certain way, the limb becomes.... ehhh. Weird. Like when you twist a straw. ✓ Super helpful!I love the app! I use it very much seeing as I always have issues coming up with poses every time I draw! ✓ Good appIt's a good app but some of the controls are tricky to use, for example I can't seem to figure out how to move some of the models around for scenes when I have more than one, and the controls aren't very clear so when I finish moving a part and try to move another and moves the thing I finished, ruining the pose, but for the most part I'm very happy with the features that it has just make the toggles and features clearer.Version: 1.2.91

✓ Amazing AppI absolutely adore this app, it’s so easy for me to use and it has so many dynamic features. The preset poses are all really great, and it’s easy enough to create a pose from scratch using the sliders. They can be a little tough to master, but once you get the hang of using them it’s unproblematic. The only reason I haven’t given five stars is because the app could do with a few more body styles. I know there’s already several body types, but it would be nice to see some others, like shorter or chubby. I struggle with drawing body styles that aren’t tall and thin, so to have something to reference those body types would be a big help! Otherwise an amazing app..Version: 1.3.22
✓ Pretty GreatBeing an mobile App I was pretty sceptical going in, since mobile apps don’t have the best reputation, but I was pleasantly surprised. This app works as intended and basically gives you what you need for free ie male and female model, while other models are behind a paywall which is to be expected in a free app. So to summarise Pros -Works as intended. -Great for Anime and Manga art styles. -It has movement feature as well. -you can customise almost anything. -comes with all the most models you’ll actually need. Cons -few ads here and there -Some features are behind a pay wall while some are behind ads (which is generous of em) Great app, and most of the cons can be fixed by just paying for the full version which is only $9.99, so should you try it? ✓ Nice app👌👌 one small issue tho 🤔This app is all in all pretty good and is useful for anyone trying to learn how to draw bodies. My only issue is that sometimes when I’m clicking on a pose that requires you to watch an ad to be able to use it, the app will close itself and then I need to reopen and watch an add again to get the pose I want. ✓ Very HappyI am very happy with this app! I got it as I was having issues with a certain pose and I was able to recreate the pose that I had drawn in the app and saw my mistakes in the drawing as the app’s pose was more anatomically accurate. I could not finish that drawing as I was so excited to try some great new poses I had come up with in the app. I really love what it did for me so far! I worked with one male and two female body types and even added a prop (sword) and it was so so much fun and very intuitive and I was really happy! ✓ Probably the best pose app for artists, just a few suggestions.I would like to start off by saying that this app is amazing for anime/manga artists, the variations of models are especially fun to use for my art! This app has almost everything artists could ask for, but I would like to say two suggestions: 1. Add somewhat skinnier and somewhat chubbier models, I would like to see how different body types can turn out with different artists using this app. I’ve been suggesting this tool to everyone lately as well, so it would be nice to add a skinny and chubby model. 2. Add facial expressions if you can. It would be very helpful for the artists using this app to have different facial expressions portrayed in their art! ✓ Fantastic art tool, but issues with in-app purchaseFirst let me say that the customer support was excellent and also very quick to respond! I love this app, i can make easy drawing poses to really help me bring my art to life. Ive used other 3D model apps and I feel like this one is the easiest to use with the most tools. You even have the option of showing lines on your model so you can see where to draw those features yourself. You can also adjust the scale of models to eachother as well as size of props I upgraded to pro, which i feel was well worth the 5 bucks, considering ive spent WAY more on actual model figures/props for references that have to stay in my office space. At first it worked fine, but later that day it stopped saying i had PRO. As if i never paid for it. The support team emailed me within the hour i inquired about it, which was very impressive to me. They got the issue resolved by sending me detailed, polite instructions of what they needed from me to fix the problem. Im giving them 5 stars because i have paid 30 bucks for models that have broken or been unusable references once purchased. ✓ Great app but needs some improvementLove using this app for my comics for class (first year animation student) because it really helps to figure out lighting and foreshortening. However, this app would be even better if there was an option to change the body shape, for example, adding chubbier and skinnier shapes as well as being able to alter the height of the characters. ✓ Pretty good appI’m an artist, and sometime I just can’t get the angle I want with the pose I’m quite visualizing correctly. This app is definitely helpful in such occasions, especially with a few free presets poses. It’s quite versatile in allowing you to make adjustments to camera angles, poses and even has a couple free props for the figure to hold. The down side to manually posing the figure is sometimes with the slightest touch the adjustment sliders goes crazy and there isn’t a limit to how far you can twist (eg hand). So what happens is the figure becomes warped as par usual accidents as if you were creating a 3D model in a computer animation program. Compatibility: I ran this app on an IPhone XR with the latest update, and it ran smoothly, no crashing and etc. Personally, I prefer the quick adjustments from using a real drawing figurine, but in a pinch and basic free portion, this app is quite handy. Dunno if I would pay for the DLC and expansion though... if your just drawing, have an idea of how your props will look, free will suffice. But if you wanna have more items, or what not... sure it might be worth spending 7or so bucks, else I see no reason for me to spend money on a virtual drawing reference..Version: 1.4.62

✓ Great app; Google linking issue?This app is incredible for coming up with poses, composition, and angles for drawings, I’ve been using it on my iPhone as a handy quick reference for a while now and have paid for the Pro account and various DLC features because I have found it so useful I have an iPad now though and I wanted to try using it on here, but the account I have my payment information attached to is a Google account and the app crashes whenever I click that option in the main menu to try linking it. Has anyone else on an iPad using a Google account had this issue as found a way to fix it? I love the app but I’d rather not have to pay again for everything.Version: 1.2.91
✓ Great app and customer serviceThis app is great! You can alter the poses and angles and even have multiple models at once. It’s a very good resource for artists. After using the app for only a few minutes I quickly upgraded to pro. There was a bit of an issue because the app took my money but didn’t keep the upgrade after it closed. I contacted the company and they not only got back to me, they also resolved the issue in under 24 hours. I’ve never had an issue resolved that promptly and painlessly before. ✓ Helpful, but could use some improvements!I’ve been using this app and it’s incredibly helpful and easy to use! It’s way smoother and better looking then other posing apps, plus it’s much easier to use. However, I do think there are some things that could be added. I think adding a mode where limbs and objects don’t clip would be nice, however I know that would be kind of hard to program. Another thing that would be nice to have is giving us adjustments for the face. ✓ Love It But-I love this app, and how well its user interface is! It’s easy to understand, to navigate, and to edit poses, but I have a suggestion: I am awful at animals. Specifically animal legs. I believe that if there were models of, say for example, dogs and cats, this app would intrigue many more people. Some people prefer to draw animals, or anthropomorphic characters, but the legs work different than humans. I think adding in animal models may help people understand how animal anatomy works! So rare to find from a developer these days. Thank you! I'm holding off on the 5th star in the hope of getting some basic expression presets and perhaps some body shaping morphs/presets as well. The expression presets/morphs would be the highest priority wish for me. As a Poser Pro 2014 user on the Mac, I am thrilled to have something like that running on an iPad. ✓ Great app but...This app is very useful and also makes life a lot more easier with the free animations and character/prop positioning, scale, and rotation. Most of the settings help tremendously when wanting that certain look. However, there are a lot of things that are unavailable to people who don’t make in-app purchases. People that are given what’s free are only given so little amount to work with. For example, we are don’t get access to any instruments and only a few hairstyles and poses. I honestly think that we should be given at least 3 instruments to work with. I also think we should access to at least the ponytail for all characters.(Just my opinion :) ). One more thing is I suggest that there should be a color wheel so people have more options in their project. Last but least, We should be able to possibly make our own animations. That is all from me and I hope this game progresses in the future. This app is really useful and deserves more recognition.
