Nano for Reddit for Positive User Reviews

Best app I’ve ever gotten for Apple Watch and ever willThis is honestly the best app I’ve ever downloaded on my Apple Watch and I am confident nothing could be better I mean it’s reddit! I loved this so much I personally decided to donate to the founder just because it was such a good app. It’s true that really small images can’t be seen properly but in my opinion 10/10 app should be one of the must gets for the Apple Watch.Version: 1.3.1

BrilliantWhy can't more watch apps be like this? If you want to use Reddit on your Apple Watch, get this. And only this..Version: 1.2

How do I access or edit favorites and multireddits?I paid for pro but can’t do anything with it. I see the options for multireddit and favorites up there in the menu but nothing happens when I touch them and no other options seem to give me the option..Version: 1.1.1

An excellent companionSuccesses - finally, a reddit client for my watch! Is it for replacing a phone? No, but it can if you just need minor browsing, checking a particular sub regularly, or responding to messages. Exactly what i needed - interface is really good for watch OS. Loads pretty smoothly, with occasional lag on thumbnail-heavy subs if my battery is low. Otherwise, few issues. - a discord server for interacting with the dev(s) and providing feedback. Really cool about realtime troubleshooting. Several bugs I have mentioned to the dev have already been resolved (and hence removed from this review) - 3 options to pay what you want to support the dev. That fact alone made me want to give a higher tier payment for further support. Needs Improvement - a minor visual bug when switching between apps (already being addressed) - the option to select which sub pops up when I first open the app does not currently work Keep up the great work!.Version: 1.0.1

All of Reddit on Your Wrist!I’m blown away by this app! You can do everything you can do in the normal Reddit app on your Apple Watch! You can even comment and view full images from posts. Truly amazing! Worth a lot and definitely worth free!.Version: 1.3.1

Amazing and highly functionalA truly awesome app for the Apple Watch, I’ve had over 2 years and it’s a must have for certainty!! You add your favorite subreddits etc, then bam they notify you on watch if you want the notifications that part is your choice. But the complete functionality is amazing with how the interface is exactly like the phone app and the amount of content to scroll through is immense much larger than I’ve seen on any similar app for the watch. Shows the photos, comments etc everything that you could possibly want, is there on tap!.Version: 1.3.1

Works remarkably wellI tried this more out of curiosity and was blown away by it. I can seriously see me using this several times a day. Great work!.Version: 1.0.1

Great app, but a couple bugs1. App sometimes freezes on Apple Watch s1 2. App sometimes crashes on iPhone 6s Plus 3. App sometimes doesn’t show progress bar to suggest that the image on reddit is being enhanced It’s definitely great and I bought the premium app.Version: 1.1.1

Good, could be some improvementsIt a good app for browsing reddit, it’s ‘free’ but you do have to pay 1.99 to actually see subreddits that are other than the first 5, which isn’t bad. Something I wish it had (developer if you could add please), is that you can zoom into the picture like on his Twitter app. Other than that it’s great!.Version: 1.3

Fantastic app!Works as it says it does, only problem is it is prone to freeze when loading the next batch of posts but thats probably because I have a first gen apple watch. Overall I am not grtting all that time back out of my life from me using this app, lol..Version: 1.3

Color me impressedI didn't think that Reddit would be able to port to the watch well at all. I assumed that all Reddit apps for the watch were going to be crappy and lack functionality. This app is completely different though. It has 95% of the functionality the phone app has, runs smoothly, and has a great interface with well thought through haptic feedback and sounds. I would like to see one specific feature in future updates: Account switching. I have multiple Reddit accounts that I use daily and I'd love to be able to quickly switch between them on the watch via a 3d touch in the "my profile" or "settings" pages. I would also like to see chats, but these aren't quite as important to me..Version: 1.2

Great!I feel disappointed with most watch apps and this app makes the Apple Watch 1000% better! The ease of the app really works out of the Apple Watch. The only downside is that you can’t zoom in on photos..Version: 1.2

Best reddit app for watchLoving it. Would be nice to have an option to share articles, links, posts, etc..Version: 1.3.1

Honestly amazingEverything is amazing exept one thing whitch ruins it all when im scrolling they dont render in full quality whitch makes me send a link to myself on my phone to make it more convinient.Version: 1.3.1

My new favorite Apple Watch AppSeriously, this works great for when I just want to skim the headlines without pulling out my phone. It’s refreshing to see that Apple Watch Development hasn’t been forgotten!.Version: 1.0.1

What a fun little appI saw this and just had to get it right away! Fantastic idea and so far, no complaints. Everything works the way it should. Excellent work.Version: 1.1.2

Reddit on AW.... amazing. Before learning about this app, I never even considered being able to use reddit on my wrist. However, with the amazing functionality and usability of Nano just like a reddit client I would use on another device, I am blown away by the new opportunity that I now have on my Apple Watch. Nicely done! One bit of feedback that I would really like to provide is the possibility of adding a data saver mode. Being someone with very limited data, it would be nice to only have images and other media download when I intend to. Right now, you have the option to disable them loading when scrolling through the full list of a subreddit (which is great). However, I’d really like to see that extend in that, when you click a reddit post, you could be able to only download media if you click a specific “Download” button rather than have it auto-download..Version: 1.0.1

Amazing AppI am so surprised at how clear the image quality is. I love how there’s still so many features and I love being able to browse my home feed. I can’t wait to upgrade to the pro version once the holidays get over!.Version: 1.3.1

So coolI just got my watch and this app seems to be recommended a lot i finally checked it out and i just think it's so cool. But i noticed there are 3 different pro versions one can pay and since we ya so cool 😎 id like to get one especially if it's a one time purchase but I don't know what I'm getting exactly what's the difference between $2 $3 and $4?.Version: 1.3

An example of what Apple Watch can doThis app embodies everything an Apple Watch app could and should be: Fast and intuitive Works independently from iPhone Feature packed Quality GUI and user experience I wish there was more apps like this..Version: 1.4

My only gripe...My only gripe is I wish the iPhone app was a full featured reddit app. If that were the case, I’d replace the official app and just use Nano. I want to have a minimal iOS home screen. One app to rule them all! Oh and I don’t know how to control the speech volume when tapping on “speak”.Version: 1.1.1

AmazingThere’s no other way to put it. This app is purely fantastic. It works seamlessly with Reddit, and even works on Apple Watch! There is some feedback though. When it tries to load a video, it thinks it’s an article and only shows the image. That’s the only real issue I have with this app. Again, this app is great! Thank you for developing it!.Version: 1.3.1

Use Reddit? Use Apple Watch? Then you need NanoNano is the best Reddit viewer for Apple Watch. The design is intuitive, and the app itself is easy to use. All the functionality of Reddit on your wrist! It's easy to mistake it for an official Reddit app. Yes, some features cost money, but it's a one time payment, and you are directly supporting the app's creator. Oh, did I mention that there are NO ADS WHATSOEVER even with the free version? Because there are NO ADS WHATSOEVER even with the free version..Version: 1.3.1

Wonderful app! Please add GIF supportThis app helps me scroll through Reddit without having to take out my phone and upgrading to Pro gives you basically full access to all your subreddits. It would be awesome if GIF playback from gyfcat could be supported!.Version: 1.1.3

Nano for RedditI want to purchase the pro version but I don’t know if this app has push notifications (on iPhone and Apple Watch) and if I can reply to comments directly from Watch when that notification appears on Watch or iPhone (like IMessages or Viber, Telegram ) What does this handoff feature can do ? (found in settings app).Version: 1.3

Love this AppThis app is show amazing, well made and integrated on the watch. It’s really nice to browse to Reddit without needing to pull out my phone. The little jingle is a real nice touch. I purchased to pro version. And haven’t regret it. Keep making more... I would love to see Gmail, tumblr, Snapchat, Instagram, and maybe IFunny. (This all would be a stretch though).Version: 1.2

SortingI like this app very much, only issue is ..you can’t sort what you see first, I would like the option to be able to set to see the newest information first oppose to seeing something that’s popular.Version: 1.3.1

Every watchOS owner needs this. This gives you everything reddit has to offer and helps get the most of watchOS. Being able to read articles, view pictures and some clips on the go. And having a community driven aggregated news and entertainment source on your wrist is truly amazing. The app is smooth, compact and the design uses the limited screen space very well. ForceTouch is utilised well giving you your app settings and reddit navigation. Here is where I was unsure to rate at a 4 or a 5 but ultimately landed on a 5 because what it does do, it does it very well. The app lets you view images from pretty much any host without issue. It also utilises reader mode to read articles as well. And you can view gifs(gifVs?) from imgur. What it doesn’t do is offer an inapp player for reddit hosted videos or gfycat. All in all this is a fantastic app, worth the few bucks to support a good product and indie developer and one of biggest must own apps for any watchOS users..Version: 1.1.3

An Example for Watch AppsIntuitive haptics, handoff compatibly with different reddit clients... and pay what you want for pro features. Keep up the good work..Version: 1.0.1

Wholly crap this app is amazing!!!I have an Apple watch series one and just recently got nano and I love it!! It takes a while to load because I have a series one but even when using the free version it is still a fully functional Reddit app on your wrist! Totally recommend this app to everyone!!!.Version: 1.1.1

Reddit on your Apple WatchPerfect. Thank you!.Version: 1.4

Fantastic micro-Reddit-on-the-go!One of the few essential apps imo. Naturally not a fully fledged Reddit experience, but damn close! Absolutely fantastic for quick surfing when the situation means you can’t (or don’t want to) get your phone out, like on the train commute. Awesome..Version: 1.4

EhI love it because if I don’t have my phone near me I can just hope reddit and look thru memes and other stuff my problem is that it looks as your passwords and that you can use my credits and coins and awards but I am going to redownload it because I got another watch that isn’t broken so if you aren’t looking thru my stuff I’m fine with this.Version: 1.3.1

MUST HAVEI’ve tried other Reddit Apple Watch apps and they didn’t even load in this one is 100% functional. You can upvote downvote, comment, see subreddits, post, play videos and gifs, etc. This is truly the future of watchOS GET NOW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.3.1

Love itHands down the best watch app I’ve ever used. Honestly I thought the integration would be clunky and annoying but it’s truly easy. If I wasn’t broke I would get premium and use the tip jar. Thanks dev!.Version: 1.2

Finally...a truly functional watch app!I’ve never left a review before...after trying out soooo many watch apps I often feel disappointed and rarely do I want to pay for an app without trying it first. I’m in love with this app for my news feeds. I love that it provides a full download of the article. It’s extremely useful and easy to use UI. The free version is amazing and provide more than enough articles however after seeing the functionality I am definitely going to pay for it. 2 small points. I wasn’t sure if paying for the pro version was a 1 time fee or monthly or annual. Appreciate if that is clarified somewhere. Also in the free version or the pro version I don’t have the option to select which subscriptions are accessible. It seems like only when I delete / unsubscribe via the app to a community does it place a new community in my thread vs seeing all my subscriptions and selecting the 5 free ones I want available. I wonder when I pay for the pro version if it just adds all my communities or if I can select only the ones I want to access via Nano. I wasn’t a Reddit user until now. Thank you for the developing such a useful app. I love that it plays video, it’s ease of use, and overall that it’s functional in every aspect. I wish other apps followed the same approach as you did. Thank you!!.Version: 1.0.1

5/7Awesome app. I was only going to get the free version but decided to go with the $1.99 pro version (there are others depending on what you feel like paying, which is perfect). I’m so glad I did. The developer who made nano is truly deserving of each and every subscriber’s $1.99. It is quite literally the least you can do for the individual who brought reddit to your wrist..Version: 1.3

Great AppThe best Reddit experience you can get on a watch. Takes a little getting used to but functions great and I catch myself using it more and more. The creator of this app also ran a fundraiser for the Australian wildfires which prompted me to buy the pro versions of all his apps. Definitely check this out and all his other work..Version: 1.3.1

It’s awesome!I really enjoy it, by far the best way to use reddit on a watch, however I’ve noticed that I have to go to the app on my phone to update my subscriptions, which Is really just nitpicking. Other than that I mean it’s great! I see it hasn’t gotten an update in 9 months, I hope more updates come in the near future adding more polish to an already great app..Version: 1.3.1

Great app, 1 issue. This app is great but there is one bug that leads to a rather sizeable issue. I have noticed that upvoting things on the client doesn’t actually work. Things I would have upvoted already won’t appear as upvoted when I go into the app. This is a pretty big problem at least to me as it is morally wrong not to upvote posts you enjoyed or agree with or whatever the upvoted are for on that subreddit. Please fix this bug dev, otherwise everything is great. It’s nice that there is a pay-what-you-want system, but it feels more like a $2.99AUS price tag with optional donation. That’s fine though, I can’t complain about people wanting to be able to afford basic human needs. Great app, with the bug fixed i’d give it almost a perfect score..Version: 1.2

Thank youI would like to praise you for your amazing work! I can now access Reddit, Twitter and Wikipedia from my Apple Watch. Thank you!.Version: 1.3.1

This app is amazingThis app is amazing for what it does, it does have a lot of bugs and some lacking features but it’s only in 1.1.Version: 1.1

The BEST reddit experience for apple watchFinally able to leave a good review on this, now being on an official release firmware. This is the best reddit client for Apple Watch. It always will be, too. How do I know? The developer, Will, puts his heart and soul into this project. Following this project since its first betas has been an astounding journey to watch, for both Will and the app. This project will continue to grow for the better..Version: 1.1

Really great app when it worksEverything is as great as I expected it to be when I got this app, except sometimes it gets frozen on a single post and won’t be able to scroll or change subreddits... even after closing out the app/restarting the watch. I’ve found a simple but somewhat time consuming fix which involves deleting and redownloading the app.Version: 1.1.1

Overall a good app but with one big flawThe reason I did not give this app a 5 star was because of the fact that sometimes when scrolling or loading new things the app will crash which makes things very frustrating. Other than that this app is amazing and I would recommend!.Version: 1.3

Can’t log outIt’s a good 5/5 app but I can’t log out in my watch cause I made a new Reddit account under a new email and I can’t switch it out.Version: 1.3.1

Works Great and ConvenientFor anyone wondering, the free version lets you view any sub. It’s just that it provides shortcuts to only your first 5 alphabetical subs. To view all subs shortcuts, pay for PRO. I did, and the app works completely fine. Had a question about the app and emailed the dev. He responded very quickly and helpfully. Am glad to be supporting this dev with PRO. Great Reddit client for the Apple Watch S3..Version: 1.1.2

Great little appBest Reddit option for the Apple Watch. Performance is good and functionality is great. The iOS companion app could probably use a bit of polish and UI enhancements but it’s very functional. Plus, when I had an issue the dev replied to me within minutes!.Version: 1.1.3

Can always be betterWorks well on Watch and loads very quickly. Can there be an option to access saved posts from Reddit too please?.Version: 1.3.1

Reddit on Apple Watch is the future of browsing.I feel like I don’t use my Watch that much other than for checking the time and texts. Luckily I was wondering if Reddit was available on Apple Watch, and I found the perfect app for it. The free version does have limited features, but Apollo isn’t meant to be enjoyed that way. People seem to forget that developers need some way to support themselves, so the in app purchase to pro is an inoffensive “pay your own price model” to get all of the features. Overall a solid Apple Watch app and solid Developer. I recommend checking out Chirp for your Twitter Apple Watch needs..Version: 1.3
