✓ Sneaky charges don’t downloadThis app is trash and it’s catch is to charge you multiple times for a subscription you don’t even authorize. They do not send you any type of email to let you know you’ve been signed up for a subscription service (for a mediocre guitar emulator app) I rate -5 stars but unfortunately 1 is the minimum requirement. There are much better choices on the App Store that won’t coerce you into a subscription service, that can’t even send out email notices to let you know of potential charges. My son downloaded this app on my phone and probably used it for 1.2 secs and it was never opened again. Never received an email from the company just multiple charges. ✓ Not worth installingWhen I was looking at this game on the AppStore, it looked decent. But when it came to actually playing the game, I became disappointed. Firstly being that I had Ads being forced down my throat every minute or so when I was either finishing or starting a song, and as well as that, you had to pay a subscription just to have access to the other 90% of the songs on the list. I noticed that the songs you get access to are only 20-30 seconds long. In conclusion, the subscription is too expensive for what it is (£14 per month) and there are too many forced ads and not enough things to do in the restricted version. ✓ My reviewThis app isn’t my favorite. First of all there may be lots of song but I only know 3! And its important to know what sing your playing. Secondly, Im a real guitar player and I would like to experience many guitar apps however with this one I will tell you this is NOT like any guitar ive used. You can’t put your fingers in the right places and it doest do anything like a guitar. It doesn’t teach you how to use the app or how to play the guitar. All it does is show you a library of songs and expect you to know what your doing. As well as this tjeres always an add i hate having to stop through my giitar experiance to watch an add just so i can continue. I would recommend any guitar app other than this. It’s not all bad though that’s why a put a two-star. It may have all that bad stuff but it’s quite entertaining it is frustrating but it kept me occupied for 10mins. And one more good thing is how once you’ve unlocked a song (by watching an add) it stays there forever and you won’t need to watch another add! Meanwhile ads are 30 seconds, you can’t skip them either. Sometimes it’s as soon as you finish one level, and then you have to watch another 30 second ad to move on to the next level, so this game is mostly piles of ads. I can understand that people need to make a living and that ads help make the game better since it’s free, but seriously, that’s way too many considering the amount of time you actually play the guitar. ✓ Great game but….Once you get past the ads between every song, it is a fun game to play. I can sit here forever and try to do the guitar kinda like guitar hero except the songs are only partial, and you have to watch 30 second ads between each song you select and a 5 second ad after everyone that you play. This is not worth $30 a year by any means to play a game. If it was a couple of dollars for no ads just to play the game, I do it in a heartbeat. It’s like the piano tiles game but with guitar. It’s really neat. I just wish you could shut the ads off for less than $8.99 a week (or lessen the ads). ✓ Great potential but doesn’t follow throughWhen I first downloaded the app, I liked playing along to some of the songs I knew, however it loses its potential with the overall app running extremely poorly. At first I thought it was an issue with my own phone but having looked into it, it’s an issue with the app. It runs extremely slowly leading to graphics being delayed, regularly crashes and sometimes the app will just freeze on you despite the song continuing and you lose your place/score. It’s a real shame cos the app has such great potential and some star graphics but it all gets thrown away by poor functions and run time.
