✓ 👍👍👍Finally an app that teaches you how to write characters! Could have given 5 stars if there wasn’t such limited free content, and ALSO a place where you can add your own study decks and characters to learn! Overall really neat, and the free courses were awesome, future looks promising!.Neeslappr1000Version: 3.10.3

✓ Good but not usefulI was very excited with the free trial and became supper excited. Then I paid for the 6 month’s subscription. But soon I realized that the tactics used by skitter are not so great. You can only practice a word once and then it assumes you learned it so you can only practice it in the test. That is very hard. The app also makes it so that you think you know the characters because when you are learning it you see it repeatedly. But that is only because it gives very obvious hints. I believed I was learning but I was not retaining the information. However, Skitter did help me with stroke order and Pinyin. I liked that part of it. I think allowing people to study a character more than once without hints would make the app better..KelanyMVersion: 3.5.6

✓ Flaws in appIt’s been months and I see this app still hasn’t been fixed. I hoped from this last update that it would’ve been addressed, but no. The (LEARNED ONLY) option for Testing characters marked learned still does not turn on like it used to. I’m not testing characters I haven’t learned yet with ones I have, makes no sense. ✓ Great App but way too slow.The app itself is a great design and it’s been essential for me to learn Chinese. But it’s sooooo slow, loading the “For Review” cards takes a few minutes sometimes, opening the app is a couple minutes of loading, and rejuvenating a deck can take up to 20... I can download full movies faster than this app can load flashcards. The speed of the app is causing usability issues.. can’t open and spend 5 minutes here or there doing my flashcards because it takes that long to set up and load. Should be a priority to fix....Lagged out 24/7Version: 3.5.3

✓ Could be 5 stars with a fixThere should be an option to type out pinyin in order to test if we really know the character, like on the web version. ✓ Should get a pause for daily streakIf you’ve been studying every day for awhile and then don’t study for a day for real life reasons (deaths, illness, weddings etc.) it resets. ✓ Good app, but too expensiveI used this app a lot and it's very helpful, but I ended up deleting it because the subscription cost too much for what it is. It'd be one thing if it was a one-time payment of $100, but making it a subscription is pretty ridiculous. That's like the cost of a streaming service. This app definitely fills a niche and I'd like to use it again, but not until they lower the price. I wouldn't recommend subscribing, there are other apps that do almost the same thing for free or for a one-time payment (of much less than $100).DogphaseVersion: 3.10.4

✓ Useless unless you payAdvertised as free, but you have to pay for a year’s subscription at more than £90 to use any of the facilities. Of course, once you’ve created your account and discovered this they’ve got all your personal details… At the time of writing there are no free decks to use when you create your account.
