✓ Great until app stopped loadingI got to chapter 49, but after I tried to open the app and I was left on the loading screen, sometimes getting an ‘error loading application’ message. UPDATE: now works perfectly normally :).Version: 1.0.6
✓ Most Helpful App!I failed the written test 3 times and was losing hope in myself. I struggled to read the handbook because I’m more of a visual learner and a lot of the things said were things I failed to understand or think about. It wasn’t until my cousin and mom recommended me this app that it has been the best that has ever helped me. After many websites and other apps, nothing has helped me understand the rules of the road more than this app. As a visual learner, it has helped me visualize and put myself in scenarios so much better than any other website or app has done for me. ✓ A great app ran by great peopleThe developers clearly care about the person and their journey to safe driving. Even when it isn’t financially sustainable to have it completely free, they still provide an alternative method which does not cost anything in order to continue studying for your test(watching sponsored videos). This app clearly breaks down each section and after the first run through you can go back to the section tests to get an even better understanding, not to mention the full tests available. ✓ Really good to useI was worried about getting my L’s, but this app is really good as I feel more confident with the road rules. Even things that aren’t covered in the road rules are taught, so you can feel more confident on the road. ✓ Well worth using for New LearnersI came across the app through word of mouth by family as I’ve just started getting driving lessons and thought I’d do the smart thing and going out and spending a fortune on books that I thought I was going to need spending just over £30. Gave them a try and since finding this app they have subsequently been left to gather dust! This app is so easy to use and understand it’s made learning and understanding so much more enjoyable not to mention the much friendlier price tag that goes with it. I’ve not had it long but safe to say I’ve learnt a lot more using this than any other method I’ve tried it’s fantastic! ✓ It was kinda helpfulI said it was kinda helpful because i’m 14 and at the end of this year i’m supposed to be taking the test for my permit but while I was taking the test on level 1 and once I got to question 4 the app kept trying to make me do a 3-day free trial or it wouldn’t let me proceed and I didn’t want to do a 3-day free trial because everybody know that when those days are up the app will try to charge your card most times. So i’m not writing this review to hate on the app or anything i’m just trying to get my personal experience across because I actually like the app it was just that one problem that caused trouble..Version: 4.1.3
✓ Absolutely amazingI had a competition between me and a guy about who would get the highest score from there L test. He went for his first and got 91%. I downloaded the app and made sure I went through everything, even bought the full version (100% worth it) it’s super helpful and even the test at the end is amazing, it really helped me know everything... literally. ✓ Helps remind meI’m 16 and want to start preparing for tests that may come in the future so decided to download the app to see if it helped me remember things about driving and being on the road. And it certainly does! Each day I get a reminder that it’s time to take a quiz about specific topics like roundabouts and signs whether I get them wrong or correct the app explains each answer to where you understand. The questions you get wrong will come back later on in the test to jog your memory and get a higher percentage on the outcome. ✓ Great app butI purchased this app and it’s really great for learners and people who need more information, the app was hard to use without having the full access and so I thought I would start the three day trial, when signing off on the three day trial it told me that I could go to settings and stop it whenever I wanted I went to settings and couldn’t find any button, could you please help? ✓ AMAZING!!I LOVE this app. I have one year until I can get my permit, so I want to know everything about driving. This is definitely the perfect app for that. I have learned so much already about driving since the second lesson! The lessons are quick and easy. This app basically has you take these quizzes, and you answer which you think is right. (it's multiple choice) It will tell you if you're wrong/right, and then gives some helpful reasons why the rule is that way. The only thing I don't like about this app, is all the ads I have to watch because I don't have the full version. To unlock a level, you have to watch an ad. I understand that watching the ads help bring money to the company that made this, but maybe we can watch an ad every other level instead? ✓ Amazing!To start it’s worth saying that I have a series of learning difficulties, including: dyslexia, memory problems, and comprehension/processing. This app has made learning to drive an achievable goal for me, which is truly awesome. I highly recommend getting the premium version as (assuming that you are only studying for a few weeks/months) it’s relatively cheap for such a high service. ✓ The best app ever!!!!I recently started studying for my driving test and while studying in the book I end up getting distracted easily and I wanted an app which could help me study without panicking!! ✓ Worth it despite waiting 24 hours for each set of lessonsAlthough I had completed the learner’s test required in my state, I felt uneasy with how much I truely knew about driving—I found it hard to believe that by simply passing 30 questions, I was now permitted to drive. So despite already receiving my learner’s, I downloaded Zutobi. Now, I wish I could say that I bought the subscription and had immediate access to Zutobi’s amazing premium features, however, financially, I personally made the decision to not buy it. Sure, without the subscription you need to wait 24 hours each time before accessing two more lessons, but Zutobi’s facilities are worth waiting for. Considering the quality of their chapters and questions, I have to thank them for making their product offerings free... not like a “the first few chapters are free then you have to pay” sort of thing... (something we are all familiar with when searching for a driving app). Worth your time and/or money if you’d like to buy the subscription. Thank you so much.Version: 1.0.34

✓ Worth the pay.It’s not even expensive.. Single teen mom here who waitresses, so I’m busy. This app helped me stay on track. Everything about it is amazing. I have adhd and some learning issues, but the way they set the curriculum.. not too much reading but enough to inform you about everything. After each chapter (which none are super crazy extensive long) you take a short quiz. All throughout the levels. I think there’s like 62 levels before the final test. I’ve passed every level 80%+ and I’m on level 42 I believe. I love it. It’s an amazing app whoever created it deserves a raise and recognition forreals cus I still wouldn’t know anything abt driving or have the enthusiasm to get my license if it weren’t for this app. Definitely worth it. 11/10 would recommend.Version: 3.5.2
✓ Great app!I’m loving this app, it has such a useful summarised chapter for each section and the tests are so helpful! The only issue is that I’ve got 1/4 of the way through and have been watching ads to unlock the levels so far which I don’t mind doing but it has now asked me to pay - I’m not sure if this is supposed to happen as it seems others have experienced the same issue? When driving you need to know everything not only for your safety but for possibly others in the car or other on the street, it’s always good to be safe. ✓ FantasticThis app has been great. When I first encountered an issue stopping me from using it the customer support got back to me quick and helped me very efficiently. They also gave me 12 months upgrade which was very generous! This allowed me to experience the full app which I quite honestly think is a must have when using the app. Since then I have passed my theory test first time within less than 23 days of using the app. When taking my theory I felt very comfortable and recognised most questions in the exam after having answered them after each chapter on the app which made the theory very easy!.Version: 1.0.20
✓ BEST APP EVER!!!This app is very good, it lets you take these lessons and quizzes which will help you learn how to drive, it has already helped me a ton me being a new driver. But this app is very useful and if you ever need help from anything about driving go to this app it will save you a lot of money, the only thing I’m not so happy about would be the advertisements the ads happen after every lesson, you can’t skip them you can’t do much about it and the no ads thing costs $10 which is far to much for someone who is still learning how to drive, idk tho it still gets 5 stars from me just because of how good it is and how amazing it was designed.Version: 1.0.6

It breaks all the chapters down and then breaks it into lessons which you go through then gives you a test. This comprehensive learning style is very similar to how the modern us high school education system is making it easy to comprehend through the eyes of a high schooler I genuinely got sad when I reached my lesson limit for the day because I just wanted to learn more. ✓ Great but stopped working after i payed for subscription.I downloaded Zutobi couple weeks ago and its great ! It really helps you and teachers you a lot ! I really like how it has a test at each category to see how you understood everything. Yesterday i payed for the subscription and it was working perfect but in the evening it stopped working every time i would try to go on to the app it will load and say “ Error please restart application “ I deleted it and downloaded it so many times but it still don’t work when i logg in it just loads and the screen goes blank. ✓ Thank you.At 20 years old it’s embarrassing to say that I just got my learners permit. I just “got around” to it because I suffer from severe anxiety and PTSD due to trauma from bad car accidents in the past. When I downloaded this app, I had no hope. I started using it to study, and thanks to the reminder setting, I actually went back to studying from time to time. All of a sudden I had the courage to try and drive in a parking lot, so I did. It was terrifying at first, but I did it. After a while of studying and the mini tests that the app provides, I decided to make an appointment to receive at least my permit. I got to the “final test” on the app and I passed, I took it a few more times and I passed those times as well, so instead of waiting for my appointment, I just walked into my dmv. Of course I was still scared of failing, but I’m proud and happy to say that I passed with flying colors. Not a single incorrect answer. ✓ :(I’ve had this app for 3 days now and it’s been amazing. Learning things is so easy. Anyway, i didn’t know about the ad thing where you had to wait a certain amount of time. I always study before I sleep and so when it first popped up i was like okay, I’ll just study some more tomorrow night. So that’s like what? A whole 24 hours, and it still didn’t let me watch an ad so I could continue so I deleted my account and I was already on number 10. I made a new account thinking it’ll let me watch the ads now but it didn’t and now I’m stuck on #4. That’s the only problem with it. ✓ Its worth itFor an app that offers a premium service, but ESSENTIALLY since its a free app, its definitely worth the down load. Granted, if you have a good but of common sense, a majority of the questions are fairly easy. At the start I was reading the lessons they offer before the test, and its good information. However I found that even just skipping straight to the test I average getting 90% of them correct regardless. But the 10% I get wrong was a nice learning experience. They have state specific questions as well which I thought was nice. ✓ Get this app!!!I bought the premium version a week before my permit test so and then cancelled my subscription after. This app is really good at helping you understand the concepts you need to know in order to pass the test. None of the practice questions are actually on the real test but this app does a good job at providing similar examples. I went through the whole course in like four days and read the whole drivers handbook. I was really worried about not passing but I got a 100% and I don’t think I would have without this app. The subscription is worth it and just pay for a week and then end it after you pass your test!! ✓ Almost perfect!I love this app. I passed my test because of this app. Only one tiny problem- there is one question on this app that does not match to that of the official DMV written test. My first time seeing the question on Zutobi I clicked my answer but it turned out to be wrong. I thought there was no way it could be that answer, but it was on Zutobi. On the written test though, I got the exact same question from Zutobi and I clicked the answer that Zutobi said to be correct. Guess what? I got it wrong on the written test! Turns out, the answer I knew from the beginning was the correct answer. Thanks a lot Zutobi. No I’m kidding, besides that one question, everything is accurate and very helpful. I recommend this app! I’m ok with that but I need to study in order to pass the first time. I was so excited to find a well organized app to help. I got through the first chapter fine but then found out I need to pay five dollars EVERY WEEK in order to use the app. I’d be ok with 5 bucks a month but every week is so greedy. ✓ Best appI was struggling to find a good app for learning theory however the add for zutobi came up and I was honestly so surprised. Even though it’s function is just to learn theory, the app is so engaging compared to other apps I was using. The staff are incredible. This app has been tremendously helpful as it breaks down the information booklet provided by the government to study into different chapters that are easy to read and include a quiz to help you retain the information. ✓ Best app for driving theory!!I love this app! I have tried a few others for driving theory and this has to be the best, I’ve been using for a few months and now feel confident with driving theory! I love the layout and the way each topic is set out - with being able to read through each chapter (easy key information and diagrams) and then practice questions until you understand the topic. There are also quizzes every few chapters to check knowledge and an overall mock test. Being able to star difficult questions to come back to is also super useful and the app is just great! ✓ Use this app!!Hi! If you want to get your permit but you just can’t sit down and read the book, maybe it’s the attention span (that’s me) or you just don’t have time (also me) or maybe the book is just too boring (also one of my problems 😂) this app helps out with these problems a lot. It’s on your phone and so whenever you have free time just open the app click on the next chapter and start reading. The chapter are just shortened versions of the actual book so you get all the information you need just in a shortened version! The app is colorful and it’s like a game. If you pass the tests, you get points and go to different levels, with these different levels, you get a different car each time! So it really grabs your attention and makes you wanna keep passing the tests and keep up to see how many points you get. Many platforms attempt to recreate the Learner Test but nothing in terms of design, ease of use, functionality can even be compared or be put on par to Zutobi. Unparalleled learning experience. ✓ Okay!This is a really useful and good app. when paying for premium. you will have to spread out the lessons much longer if not, which is a little ridiculous. otherwise, i have found a only a few issues. apprx 2-5 of the lessons have minor misspellings. one of them is glitched and does not have the lesson attached to the set of questions, just goes straight into the questions(and no, it’s not one of the test ones, and asks questions for things NOT previously mentioned). and some of the after-lesson questions ask you things that were not covered in the lessons. add more substance in lessons where this is true, and you’ll be fine. i’ll update my review after my permit test tomorrow..Version: 3.0.6
✓ Extremely HelpfulI’ve always wanted to drive but I could never push myself to read the handbook I would always lose interest. So when I heard about the Zutobi app from a ad I decided to check it out. I read through the description and it talked about how you don’t need to read the manual and it basically summarizes it for me. I instantly downloaded it and started going through it. Although there is a pretty pricey paywall that you need to purchase to get through the app I found it extremely worth it. I just finished taking my written exam at the DMV and passed it first try. ✓ Love itI am so nervous about my taking my test. I have been wanting to go to drivers school for a while now. I asked my mom she said it’ll have to wait then a couple of days ago me and my oldest sister was talking about how she was gonna get me a car and which one we wanted then she said something about drivers class that I’ve been wanting to go to. She called up to the place and signed me in I was excited then she said I had to take a permits test, I got scared because I thought I would fail it because I know nothing about driving really. My mom let me drive her car a few times and I did really good. I went on google to see what the questions was like and I barley knew the answers to them. ✓ Good app with some errorsSimilarly to other reviewers, I only used this app to study for two days, a few hours per day and I passed on the first try. There are a few questions on the DMV test that aren’t specifically covered in the app, but they are all solvable with common sense. Where I have a problem with the app is with some of the answers. There are some where the explanations clearly point to one answer while the “correct” answer isn’t correctly designated, causing confusion. I would say there were around three of these such answers. In addition, there are also some tests that cover material not in the reading; I have no idea where the oil tank is in a car, why don’t you just put that in the reading that was right before the test? Other than these two concerns, I can’t really complain when I was able to study so little and pass, so thanks Zutobi..Version: 3.8.1

✓ Great but no hazard perceptionI left revising for my theory less than 24 hours before my test. fortunately zutobi does a 3 day free trial which was great and i managed to do all 50 chapters in less than a day and ultimately scored 47/50 on the multiple choice section (the three questions i believe i got wrong were ones that i hadn’t seen before so i guess were new ones zutobi hasn’t heard about yet). it’s great and concise, the only issue i found is that it doesn’t cover the hazard perception side of the test at all which would’ve been useful, but there are also plenty of free online resources you can use instead.Version: 1.0.32
