✓ Love the app apart of thisHi Trainline devs, I love the app and use it everyday! There is a small bug that I find a bit annoying and will be great if you can fix it! When entering your name and surname, if both of those fields are mandatory please don’t hide the keyboard when tapping on to the surname field, it’s not great to have to click twice and it also suggests you don’t need a surname which you do when using Apple Pay. And please allow mass edit of expired tickets, going through them one by one is soo boring..Version: 1.3.9

✓ Watch for railcardAs an Australian travelling around the uk this is a really useful app that is incredibly accessible. However, because I am not from here I didn’t fully understand what a railcard is - it just popped up on my ticket because I am within the age range. This confusion led to an uncomfortable interaction with a ticket inspector and being accused of fraud (understandable). Railcards are really easily purchased and so I was able to get one for future journeys however I would just be aware incase this happens to you. Overall loving the app..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Never had any issues and saved loadsI regularly take the train and they are usually very expensive in the UK, but with TrainPal I can make sure i get the best price possible for a journey with its split ticketing options and lots of free vouchers, i’ve saved almost £50 in the last couple months just through using TrainPal. When i was unable to use some advance tickets i had bought just before Christmas, i requested a refund without expecting much if I'm honest, and i was surprised to receive a full refund on all my tickets within a matter of days. The app is also plenty easy to use and I really cannot fault it, can’t recommend more - it’s basically free money..Version: 2.5.0

✓ Good but can be confusingThe App in general is very good. Ticket splitting is very good. However occasionally I find errors in that it wants me be reserve a seat on services that never have seat reservations. Another problem is that get travelcards in the London Region can be hit or miss, sometimes it gives you the option but other times not. I main issue is with some of the promotions that TrainPal offer, some of these are torturous to use and understand..Version: 2.6.0

✓ GoodThe app is good, useful to use when you don’t want to queue for tickets. Can save you some money on some journeys too. Only issue is even if you already loaded the ticket barcode once, you need to have internet to re-load it each time. If you have no internet connection/battery then you basically have no ticket and don’t get let on your train or even get issues a fine..Version: 1.4.2
✓ All good so farI’ve come to this app as I refuse to use the Trainline anymore due to their appalling customer service and poor, misleading terms and conditions. Some reviewers are moving due to this apps alleged poor customer service, if it is bad then fair doo’s it needs sorting, but The Trainline’s is equally as bad and certainly not something that you want to have to deal with. Certainly don’t move to The Trainline due to this App’s poor CS, you’ll be equally as disappointed. I’d gamble that it’s the same company providing the staff for both companies. Anyway, the tickets are just as cheap, the option of splitting is a bonus. Only minor point to sort when buying is that it seems to take a long time for the payment to go through. This could improve as sometimes you need to buy a ticket at the last minute and I wouldn’t like to be waiting for the payment to go through..Version: 1.3.5

✓ Best prices and options for trainsBest app/ ticketing platform I’m using atm to book trains. I’ve booked some unbelievably cheap train tickets through this app as it gives you the option to split your journey which saves you about £5-£20. I got a ticket from Liverpool to london £25 return (not the best train options) but for that price I’m willing to sacrifice the time. Easy to pick up tickets. Only thing is I have to keep logging back in to the app but that is the only issue I’ve had. All my future journeys show up on the app and it’s an easy to use app.Version: 1.3.0

✓ Saved me moneyI’ve only used this once and found it easier to use on my mobile than either Trainline or national rail. I like that you don’t have to faff around logging in too. Trainline was telling me that there were no tickets available on my day of travel but this app immediately came up with a list of times and prices - then asked me if I wanted to split the tickets , saving me another £8 on top. ✓ Split Ticketing (but also Split Seats)Tried this app & enjoyed the introductory £2 & £3 off discounts which were much appreciated Also like the split ticketing options you do - 10/10 for that However one major flaw is that when booking the seats it doesn’t try & give you the same seat for each leg of the journey even though it’s the same train you travel on, something to think about especially when doing long journeys I’m afraid - fingers crossed that can be improved in some way or form, would certainly get the 5th star out of me :).Version: 1.3.7

✓ It works well... but room for improvementWhen adding the tickets to Apple Wallet it would be a time saver if you could add both outbound and returns tickets at the same time. When going to the my tickets tab, the app initially loads every ticket you’ve purchased including all those you archived. It can take a little while for it to refresh and hide all your archived tickets, to leave only your recently purchased tickets.
