Join the FDY Lifesaving Team. Download the FDNY CPR Lifesaver app which will guide you through the steps of Compression – Only CPR and remind you to find an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This simple app, when activated, will give you step by step instructions on Compressions-Only CPR with both text and voice prompts. The app will also provide an audible and visual metronome which will help the user maintain the appropriate chest compression rate. In addition it will also prompt the user to remember to request an Automated External Defibrillator with an option to call 911 within the app.
