✓ Great Manual ControlsThe app works really great and you get your value for money, the film effects/filters are subtle and share many characteristics to the real film types. One improvement I can suggest would be to add the option to capture and save images in RAW file formats. As this is digital photography intended to mimic film photography, saving photos in RAW format would be a nice feature to round off the app. And RAW format would help users who do a lot of post-editing. Another improvement I’d suggest would be to let the app re-orient it’s layout for portrait photography, so users can more easily switch between taking landscape and portrait shots - rather than stay locked in a horizontal layout the whole time. I really hope you take these suggestions on board as they are the only reason I rate the app 4 instead of 5 stars - it’s a really great tool for film enthusiasts like me to have, and I’ve already recommended it to friends!.Version: 1.20

✓ Very impressive little camera !Bought the camera to experiment with the different filters and I am awe with the results of this little camera. It brings nostalgia with the remembrance of vintage pictures taken with the different filters such as Kodak, Fuji and the black and white pictures they are amazing. ✓ Best Photography App Ever!!!!I was really curious about this app because you have to pay for it. But the money I spent on this app was well worth it because I produced a lot of great photos from this app. And what’s even more convenient is that it’s on my phone and I don’t have to spend so much money on an actual film camera. ✓ Great app but some suggestionsThis is a great app. I paid for it year ago. This app literally worth the money. Just some suggestion: 1. Can the lens info be added please? I love check the previous photos with locations and lens information. This is part of my memories too. 2. Can you add more Fuji film please? Fuji films are most popular at this moment. If these can be added I believe this app can be more popular. 3. Can the lens switch be a button instead of a ring? The ring is hard to use from my experience.Version: 3.15
✓ The best photo film app, BUT!This app is great. It is exactly what you want your photos to look like if you are into film. BUT it is a tad bit un-intuitive. I wish that the photos on my phone would sync up to the app instead me having to select individual photos. And I wish they allowed you to edit your time stamp. The time stamp is my favorite feature, but not being able to edit the date is SUCH A BUMMER. I think these can be easily fixed though. “nudge nudge” Worth the money though. Get it..Version: 1.70
✓ FILCA - AmazingI am using this app on an iphone 6 and find the pictures have improved tremulously. Having the ability to make setting changes combined with film selection vs. point and shoot makes all the difference. The point and shoot logic on the iPhone is easily fooled. I suspect the hardware, lens, and point and shoot function is just ok. Certainly not an SLR. This application has definitely improved picture quality. ✓ Well worth itI wasn’t expecting this app to be good, since similar apps just put on a heavy/bad filter, however it amazed me with how colour accurate everything was and how you have so many manual controls at your disposal that you can get the EXACT photo you like. ✓ Good app with unique filters.I don’t know how accurate the film simulations are but they offer some nice tones and colours. My only problems are that I don’t have paying for the app and then there being so many in app purchases. I also find that the app eats my battery life very quickly. ✓ Outstanding AppI bought this app a week ago and have found it to be brilliant. It has a fantastic user interface, is very well thought out and easy to navigate and looks absolutely superb. The choice of film simulations and filters are excellent and the Retro 1974 simulation in particular is just unbelievable. There are a number of in-app purchases which are all well worth the small fee in my opinion (I bought the lot!). If you're a camera enthusiast, this won't disappoint..Version: 1.13
✓ Refund me for the packs I boughtI bought two film packs 2 years ago and ever since the update recently I can’t use them anymore, it keeps telling me all the film stocks are only for pro members. you can no longer buy film packs you instead have to buy the membership. ✓ Fun and discreet film shootingGood fun and nice to be able to shoot with no shutter sound (with an iPhone from Asian market), prompted me to upgrade to pro and buy all film series plugins. Some suggestions : the title of this app has a typo, “disital”. After I bought all film series, there are 2 places where I choose a film “film” and “series”. Can we have just one place with film type grouped together? (All KD films from “film” and “series” are at one place. Also, low light photo has a lot more noise than the default camera, even with no grain option. Is there an easy way to remove all filters and revert to the default camera setting(colour, image processing etc)? Is “nature” option designed for that? (Update: the app has been somewhat unstable, crashes often when photo is taken. The photo is mostly not saved when it happens.).Version: 1.21

✓ Allows manual control of the cameraI have always been disappointed with my iPhone shots because when the light is a little low it always pumps the iso to an unusable amount. I wish the UI was larger. There’s so much space on my screen between the edges of the UI and the edges of my phone. I found Filca to be the best because it includes all the features and capabilities of the latest iOS and pro DSLR features. The UI is well designed and the choice of films is terrific.
