✓ Love the new 4K optionThis is a very easy app to use/navigate. It saves all of your scripts, and allows for easy editing. You can even adjust the size and scroll time of your text ... The new version has the option to record in 4K which is SO HYPE—especially if you are used to recording in 4K, in general with your camera. You do have to pay extra for the captioning feature though ($100 annually)... which is unfortunate for those of us who are deemed “not essential” and not making money to be able to afford these extras during these plandemic times. But this app is a solid addition to add into your phone, if you are someone who is looking to present themselves professionally in front of a video camera..Version: 3.4.3

✓ This is the one!If you’re looking for an ‘Autocue’ style teleprompter then look no further! ✓ Perfect 👍I am an Actor and have to do many self tape auditions, at times almost immediately. Scripts are sent and one does not always have the time to learn by heart, so I use Videoprompter with the script running at the side of my iPad screen near the camera lens and it means that I am looking directly at the Casting team whilst delivering the script. ✓ Brilliant!!To be able to look at the screen and see a scroll of your script without taking your eyes away so that it looks as though you are speaking to camera is a godsend. My only question is when using an iphone in landscape the three logos that appear above the base line get in the way of the words if you use the facility to overlay the whole screen with the words. As the iphone screen is a small area, with the words covering the whole screen, the camera is never far from the eye. That said I usually use an ipad and configure the software so the words appear on the left side near the camera. It’s a small point but if there was a way of defeating the logos that would be useful for iphone in landscape mode with full screen text overlay. It is the most useful piece of presenting software I’ve purchased, a true boon to me and to be able to configure so much within to individual taste, from scroll speed to background and text box density etc etc is marvellous. You make fewer mistakes when concentrating this way so less retakes, so saves time too as well as looking wonderfully professional. Thank you. 5 stars at least!!!!.Version: 3.4.3

Don’t ask. Anyway, this blending of the ability to shoot and monitor video with the teleprompter scrolling transparently on top—all on one app—just allowed me to retain the remainder of the hair I was about to pull out. ✓ Works perfectly thanksThe app I have been looking for. I use it to practice my toastmasters speeches and refine them to perfection. It worked great for preparing a 3 minute video lead in and to produce a professional looking webinar. I love using it with my phone sideways. With the text on the left I finally stay looking at the camera and thus looking right at the listeners. It’s like the secret I never knew but always wanted to learn. It transfers text from google drive smoothly and there is no wait when you are saving the video. ✓ What a brilliant find!I have been using an expensive camera and large teleprompter that cost a lot of money, to record my videos from scripts, then been putting that into a video editing suite and then taking hours to put in the closed captions. I’d tried speech to text captions and they never worked because it didn’t seem to recognise some of the words I used and it was useless. So the captions had to be done manually, which took hours. Then I came across this teleprompter app and for £20 I can record the video with teleprompter on my iPhone and with the press of a button use the uploaded script to supply the captions. So for £20 I get a better quality product in a fraction of the time than with my £800 worth of equipment. It’s been a real godsend - so I can now create my videos for my Facebook adverts in the time it takes me to record it. I am delighted with it!! I love the green screen background option too! The one tiny improvement it could stand would be a slightly closer sync between the words said and the captions as there’s a bit of a lag. ✓ Script now back on the LHS, but not the green screen only works after filming.Hi, I got excited abut the upgrade, although not about having to pay in full again (previously already bought twice). Developer has reverted that I shouldn’t have been charged, but it might be as I have bought several different Apps that I got confused. I have teleprompter, teleprompter video etc. in various versions. The script now appears on the LHS again, near the camera, so that’s good. However, I did not realise that the green screen capability is a ‘post recording’ one. By that I mean it doesn’t allow for a ‘live’ green screen, like Zoom, so you have to add it in after you have recorded, and hope the screen effect is OK. I would like it to be live going forward, because I currently use LumaFusion in post-filming edit anyway. I thought I would be able to set up a green screen background during recording, check in lighting and contrast etc. This would save production time. I’ll try it anyway and see how it fares. ✓ Stopped workingIt worked great I even subscribed for the year, to then only record about three more scripts and it stopped working. It would only save to my device very short scripts of a few seconds sometimes. Super inconvenient. I opened a ticket last night but I didn’t get a response today and is already 5:39 pm. I deleted the app and cancelled the subscription. I was really counting with this app to finish my coaching classes for social media marketing but now I’m behind and rushing on catching up due to this issue. ✓ Great app for reading scripts and doing scenesI got this app to help the family members who make social media content and beginner actors to record better takes and practice scenes. The ability to change the speed of the text scrolling worked really well and it was very helpful to be able to change colours/font of the text. We used the colour changes to help know to when change emotions when learning the scenes or as the different role parts. It was easy to copy scripts for an audition from a PDF into the program and also from the notes app all on my phone. ✓ Very useful appA useful app which works well as a teleprompter. I use in conjunction with a Bluetooth keyboard to move on the text. One limitation is that it doesn’t recognise the AirPod microphone which is a shame. Other apps do, and the microphone audio quality is easily good enough for voice given it’s enhanced over standard Bluetooth. ✓ Saving issuesWhy oh why did you make saving each video a multi stage process?! Not knowing you’d changed it, I’ve lost a bunch of takes, and when it’s a 30 minute take, that’s hard! Even after I worked out you’d changed it, I’m still losing them from time to time, get fingers, small buttons, that sort of thing. Why doesn’t it just save each video automatically? ✓ Great tool & reliableI tested a few voice activated prompters ahead of a webcam recording by a third party that required I be word perfect in my delivery - and it had to be one take! This mobile app was far superior and more reliable than PC based, voice activated, options. I simply put my mobile phone on a tripod at eye level to where I was looking onscreen, careful it wasn’t caught in the view of the webcam, and it worked a treat! A bonus is that due to the size of the phone, the teleprompter margins are perfect for webcam reading too, cancelling the risk of your eyes wandering left or right and giving away that you’ve got a script!.Version: 3.9.10

✓ Fantastic App great improvementsI had been using the previous version of this app which was good and very help. However I still had a few niggles, but it was better than anything else available. Shooting in landscape mode wasn’t ideal as I always ended looking at the screen not the camera which ended up making me look skew which was less than ideal. I love that the developer actually listens to all feedback and finds solutions and then implements them to make it better and better. This version is a step change and has been greatly improved along with some nice additional features. The Teleprompter 3 app was easy to figure out, uploading the text was a snap, and editing the text on the fly was like having you anticipate my need (aka change of verbiage once recording). ✓ App reviewI was a little worried about spending this much money on an app, but I tell ya this is one of the best apps I have purchased. We have a small online jewellery business that makes one off custom rings. We upload videos to our YouTube every week or so and before this app trying to remember a script was difficult. ✓ Video Teleprompter 3Having used several version of teleprompter I was initially intrigued to know more of VT3 - would it be any different, any improvement on a predecessor I had used (Teleprompter 3). The facilities offered by T3 was limited, and yet really worked well with the amateur world of recorded video material. VT3 takes things on to another level. The option of Greenscreen recording allows the user to have a full freedom of using different backgrounds without a moire or watermark covering the final edit. This is an extremely useful feature of the app as it gives the appearance of professionally recorded footage as well as the notion the subject of the camera (piece) was fluid in their action. *Suffice to say, a moire or watermark limits the credibility of the piece. ✓ Perfect for my needs, and so easy!I create social media content for my company, Smiley Rock Records. I personally like working with scripts so I can say what I want concisely. I exclusively use my phone to create video content. The trick is to read the script while making it look natural like you’re not reading, and for the most part be looking at the camera. ✓ Solved My ProblemsI’m not a video professional, I’m just a volunteer at a Catholic Parish. Our pastor wanted to do a video Christmas message, but he kept looking down at his notes or staring to the right or left. Once I had his notes in the app, the problem was solved. He looked straight into the camera, and nobody could tell he was reading. Looked like he was talking off the top of his head. BTW, I had a few questions during setup, and the response to help inquiries was really good — once I got a reply to a note I sent after midnight before breakfast the next day. And I have the sense that the developer is VERY engaged in making the product work for the end user. Not free, but worth every nickel. ✓ Worked well for our moviesI used a USB cord to connect my iPad to a large TV monitor so that the performers (mostly the emcee) on stage could read the script posted on the teleprompter from my iPad. The main camera was adjacent to the monitor. Worked great! This would have worked from my iPhone, too, but I’m more comfortable with the iPad for such things. At another time when I was recording single actors, I placed the iPad on a platform mounted to a tripod slightly in front of and barely below my camera. The actors could easily read the teleprompter and because the iPad was in front of the camera, it appeared that the actor was looking directly into the camera lens..Version: 3.9.11
