In 1986 the world war between the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc ended in mutual nuclear bombings. Both superpowers went down in flames. The impact of the fallout almost ended civilization as we know it. You are one of the survivors of the apocalypse.
Your mission - to explore the wild and wondrous postnuclear world of the Soviet Wasteland. To earn your place under the sun in this new age. To investigate retro style bunkers, descend into a stalker filled metro, fight terrible mutants and solve a shadowy conspiracy, aimed at destroying all that is left of life on Earth.
ATOM RPG is:

✓ Great ValueAs a fan of the Baldur's Gate series I loved this non-linear role playing game. There are lots of goodies (far more than you need) and it can be played in a variety of ways. There's loads of on-line help available. Completed my first run through but I get the feeling that there's a lot I missed - so plenty of reasons to start again with a new character..Version: 1.185

✗ Red HotAs a big fan of the early versions of Fallout , this game potentially looks fabulous. I decided to close the game down during the first encounter as my two year old MacBook Pro was getting extremely hot. Developers; can I change any in-game settings to alleviate this problem or are you guys working on a fix?.Version: 1.181
✗ Bug?So far, everything is fine except when I'm fighting, such as when I kill everything but still can't get out of the fighting mode. I don't know if there is a button to get out of it, but I've tried pressing all of them but it still doesn't work, and I've also looked online. The same thing happened in the tutorial at the beginning when I was fighting barehanded. Even though the opposing character reached zero HP, they would just fall and then get up to full HP, making it a repeating loop and not being able to get out of the fighting mode. I've also tried to save and reload, but that doesn't work either, and as a result, I needed to reload a previous load to avoid the fight. Hopefully it's something I don't know, and if so, help me figure it out; if it isn't, then please get it patched since I can't progress through the game while a core mechanic of the game isn't able to be used..Version: 1.185
