✓ Easy and worked perfectly!After years of juggling expensive little sim swaps during pre-Covid international travel, the Airalo eSim is just amazing. There are so many different options to suit your destinations - single or groups of countries - and your data usage. And it’s surprisingly cheap. Because it was such a new concept I was very nervous about the process, but you purchase digitally through the app, install before you leave home by following the little demo video provided, and then just turn it on in your phone settings when you plane lands. I had INSTANT connection in each country, and the app informs you of your data usage and it’s easy to top up with small affordable amounts if you need. This is simple and affordable and a must for international travel..Version: 1.32.1

I continued using my iPhone from the US while traveling in the UK, France, Greece, Turkey & Montenegro. It took less than 5 mins to buy & install a new esim for each country I visited (oftentimes using the airport wifi after landing in a new country). I recommend naming each esim in your phone with the country name so you can keep track of which esim to turn on/off as you move through different regions. My sister also traveled with me for four months and used Airalo too, I got a referral bonus when she signed up! I’m returning to the US but will continue to just buy a US esim from Airalo because it’s sooooo much cheaper than getting cell service from an American phone company! ✗ Non functional and no supportDecided to try an esim for a trip to the UK. Had issues immediately when trying to purchase before I left the states which should have been my sign to just buy a physical sim on arrival. Contacted support and received a boilerplate response which suggested I check all the things I told them I had checked already and never received a follow up reply to my response. Was finally able to purchase and install the appropriate esim upon arrival to our destination so I thought all would be well but now can’t connect to the cellular network using the esim. Thinking it might be my phone, I enabled my regular sim and was able to connect immediately proving network availability and phone compatibility. Attempted to contact support without any response except an incoming call offering me travel insurance within 5 minutes of sending my support request. Maybe a coincidence but seems a bit suspect. Thankfully WiFi seems to be pretty broadly available but a local physical sim is in my near future and as well as a transaction dispute to my credit card company to attempt to get my money back. I couldn’t resist the promised convenience of an esim for my trip but the time wasted trying to get it to work has definitely turned me off Airalo for any future travels..Version: 1.29.0
