✓ CarPlay needs a lot of workBought it for my car. Shows promise but lots of bugs. App doesn’t crash but touching track just causes a screen response but no play. Sometimes using apples generic app can be used to force play. I get some very verbose droid message about some sort of CarPlay problem. Never seen a single error message on anything other app so i guess they are doing something half right as the app doesn’t crash.Version: 1.4.2
✓ $5 for a shuffle.. Nothing Magical.“Magic Dj” I was thinking that maybe it actually mixes songs..? Like when its about to change maybe add some beats or words from the Next song???? But no.. 😂 $5 just for a boring shuffle instead adding some spice and actually make it sound like a DJ.. 💁🏻♂️ plain old shuffle..Version: 1.5
✓ MehI was really hoping for something that would truly mix up my music, when purchasing im thinking “apple music shuffle on steroids”. NOT! This app was almost a complete ditto of my music library. I have ovr 10k songs and it managed to play the same song at least 3 times within a 30 min period. It did nothing special.. maybe an update will give the WOW effect that was raved about. ✓ Unimpressed and disappointedI read a review on an Apple news site and followed it to the app, figuring this would be a cool addition for my library of over 50k songs and over a decade of iTunes history. If I wanted to hear the same three or four albums over and over again, I could have just made a playlist of them and shuffled it. I’m quite honestly shocked and disappointed. It tossed in a few playlists of most played songs from random artists that I somewhat enjoy - again, I could have just easily made these playlists myself faster than I could find them in the app. Furthermore, when I tried to open the app again later in the day, it was blank with just icons at bottom, and now won’t work at all. Instant regret purchase that I keep regretting enough to leave a review and share. What could make this app worth the cost? First, could you ensure it doesn’t crash and become unusable after the first use? Second, I would enjoy some unique and insightful playlists (as I expected) that don’t consist almost entirely of two or three artists that I used to listen to heavily ten years ago. Finally, perhaps something different then a handful of playlists that are simply most played songs by random artists, because that’s all I got for the $5. I’m sincerely hoping this gets better. Edit: I wish I could just have this refunded. This may be my first instant regret purchase on the App Store. Every time I leave the app for more than a few minutes, I go back to it and it’s unusable. It has to be deleted and reinstalled. It then proceeds to feed me the exact same thing: the exact same one or two artists with a sprinkling of other random songs. There’s no way this is the intended experience in a diverse library of almost 50,000 songs and 10+ years of iTunes playing history..Version: 1.0.1

✓ No better than ShuffleI had high hopes for this app but it doesn’t work any better than the Shuffle feature in Apple Music with my Library. I have 4000 songs there but this app insists on playing the same 15-20 titles each time I start it up. I thought it was supposed to be better at picking songs you had not listened to in a while to add to the shuffling but that is not the case. I am very disappointed..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Flawed software.The notion of better generated playlists is how this app drew my attention when I was looking online for third-party Apple Music apps. This app does live up to exactly what it says and does so with a clean, easy interface. However, my experience with Next quickly went downhill as I attempted to alter a setting that would prioritize lesser played songs. The app said it was refreshing my music library, which it then continued to do for the better part of an hour as the app ran in the background with my phone awake. After an hour, I closed the app and reopened it, only to be greeted by a loading wheel, which after another hour led me to believe that it would continue forever if I let it. I reinstalled the app and found the same issues again. Even if this app will run successfully on your phone, paying $4.99 for a glorified shuffle button was only worth it to me because I had leftover gift card funds. As Apple continues to refine and update the functionality of their Music app and Apple Music services, it will be apps like this one that will quickly and increasingly fall into irrelevance..Version: 1.3.2
✓ Good start. Needs workHave enjoyed the playlists, and rediscovering some songs. The algorithm seems to love one or two bands a bit much though, and every third to fifth song is from one of those. Cool but also would prefer more variety..Version: 1.0.1
✓ OkI had big expectations for this app but it doesn’t deliver. Artist playlist only plays that artist not similar artists so for that you can just use Apple Music. For songs by genre now well defined so a lot of songs end up in genres not appropriate. Also app has trouble loading at times. I gave it 2 stars because it does make playlists but lot more work needs to be done on this app to make it as good as it says it is..Version: 1.4.2
✓ Settings causes crashJust read about this and downloaded it to try it out. As I was navigating through the app, I discovered that clicking on the gear icon – which is presumably for settings - causes the app to crash every time. Not a promising start..Version: 1.4.4
✓ Decent but buggyBougth this on a whim to see what it would add to my music listening and, honestly, it just does what some smart playlists and 30 minutes could accomplish (albeit automatically). First, you need 100 songs minimum in your library. Not hard to do honestly, but it's a requirement. Second, it does its thing. Pretty darn easy. My one big criticism is the metadata (namely album covers) isn't persistant. Everytime the app refreshses the playlists, it loses cover art. Kind of annoying. Beyond this simplicity and the bugginess, I think this has lots of potential. I hope they add some AI functionality to recommend new music based on the playlists..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Great idea, but unstableThe idea behind this app is amazing but it's so unstable that it's near unusable, especially on Carplay, where I listen to music the most. It's actually unusable unless you connect carplay, launch app via carplay (where the app crashes), then unlock phone, launch app, close app, launch again and then resume on carplay.Version: 1.7.1

✓ Incredibly slowThis app is frustratingly slow. The playlists and interface are great, but it runs SO SLOWLY. Every time I select a song, there’s at least 15 seconds of waiting for that song to play, even with all the songs already being downloaded to my phone. ✓ I don’t see how it’s betterThe main function of this app doesn’t get me any better results than just hitting shuffle on my library. The smart curated playlist function is kinda neat but these are hardly better in terms of feeling like a cohesive listening experience. ✓ Good idea. Opens some questions.Overall, good idea. What works well: it has surfaced songs I haven’t thought about in a while which I have missed. It’s also surfaced songs I have been glad to remove. What could be improved: The UI needs some work (needing time switch tabs to see what’s playing feels unnecessary). The question: this has opened up what look like holes in my historical Music data. Songs which have been labeled “never played” have indeed been played - albeit not in over a year. Can’t believe it does t have a play loved, give you the ability to build playlist of 5stars it 4 &5 stars.
