✓ Almost there.Special high fives for AUv3 sequence arranger for you own kits -and super special high fives for the redundancies built into how to get your samples into a pad and the option of replacing or layering sounds and how multiple layered sounds will be triggered. I tend to default to Arturia iSpark for my staple beats with my own tweaked kits, but only because iMPC 1&2 have midi issues in most iOS DAWs, so I can’t help but compare this app to iSpark, which it immediately kills by how fast it loads. I wish it were a little more intuitively streamline - or I wish i had more time to make its UI second nature - either way I’ll have to give it more attention and get over the weird split in the interface. It is nice that the manual is right there at the bottom of the interface, but scrolling through to reach each part of the UI can be a pain in the ass - don’t know why, it just doesn’t always want to scroll down. Compared to the other sequence arrangers out there, I’d say 4/5 with definite potential for the full 5 just because of its AU status. There are crashes that have been consistent and annoying, but I’m sure like usual there’s a fix that I haven’t found yet short of reinstalling..Version: 1.22

✓ I own a lot of drum machines andThis one rates very high for functionality and value . Good interface with a lot of features. Fade roll is pretty great and pitch per step automation, round robin layers, drop and drag samples are also quite useful . Two minor requests : an undo button and an ability to choose step pattern length for each individual instrument for poly rhythms. Thanks..Version: 1.02

Thanks you 4pockets fo such a great app. Just one thing to add in future updates- please let me choose the different patterns with midi control. ✓ Excellent AU sampling drum machine from responsive devAt last a great ‘real’ drum machine to run inside AUM! It comes with a great set of acoustic, electronic and FX kits out of the gate, step time or real-time input from grid or onscreen pads onboard bit crusher , overdrive, delay, reverb and chorus, is samples/beats are individually accessible to midi manipulation for pitch and velocity, (e.g. hook up a Rozetta LFO to the ‘semitone’ parameters to automatically multi pitch a bass or snare line) and has an easy to use ability to import your own samples and create custom kits - or other instruments - from them. It’s internal song construction mode is fairly basic at the moment, but this new addition of probability should shake things up, and I outsource most of my drum sequencing to Brambos Rozetta anyway. The dev is rushing out new updates almost daily at the moment, and each is adding significant functionality. And he is very responsive to the community on the Audiobus Forum! Great stuff all round. The developer was kind enough to follow up and hear me out, and has added layer functionality so that it works the way I need it to and also the way he originally designed it. Perfect now!! Thank you! Edit - 10/4/2019 Sadly, no fix to this fundamental issue, no response from the developer after reporting the bug to their support email. I’m afraid I need to take this down a star due to it not being useful to me at all with multiple layers as-is. ——————- This is a really, really great drum machine. It sounds great and I really like the workflow in general. Lots of improvements and fixes have been coming at a rapid pace. At this point there’s just one show-stopper. I reported it by email but will do so here in hopes it gets addressed quickly. When in velocity layer mode samples stack on top of each other as velocity goes up. Only one sample should play for each velocity layer. Other than that, this app is one of the best I own!.Version: 1.08
✓ Good StuffGUI is easy to learn and functions well ..Swing is on point .One thing missing is the ability layer Samples ..Effects sound nice like bit reduction , reverb , distortion, Eq...It did crash a bunch of times from trying to load samples from the drum kit waveform menu but they do load from the pads fine . The included drum kits are kinda weak . Used some of my own kits and it definitely can pack a punch with effects ..Updated my review thanks for the quick response ..keep up the good work.Version: 1.0
✓ I love 4Pockets! Take my money💰💰Everything they make is top tier and to me should be the go to suit of Audio-Units to buy for your AU Host of choice. Are vital to AUM users and are well priced. This drum machine has it all. The modularity and creative possibilities I have in AUM with the likes of stellar apps such as 4Pockets creative 3 bundle, Atom Piano roll, Chameleon, KB-1 & Flux is really something special. ✓ What we needed.AU3 beast. Developer = top notch. It will be a pleasure programming drums now. One UI request...on a small screen (i.e. - 6s), it’s not possible to display both the sequencer screen on page 2 and the note modification buttons on page 3 (triplets, reverse, fade roll) simultaneously in landscape mode. It would be great if we can latch the note modifier buttons, as a workaround. Turning the screen to portrait mode works in AU3 mode, but is not optimal..Version: 1.03
✓ Sneaky Dope BeatmakerJust bought this today and it is flames! I plan on doing a full review if this on my channel next week. Question developers? Any plans to evolve this so it can use your awesome fx as inserts and sends? That function would put this on par or above Beatmaker 3! Having fx inserts on each drum would make for not being able to export to individual tracks and really save a lot of time in iOS daws by having all the drums on one track with the ability to still use fox plugins..Version: 1.01
✓ IncredibleIOS AU plugins are becoming like their counterparts for computers, in the sense that they are often deep and very useful as opposed to simplistic. Digistix Drummer is really blowing my mind. The app is full of features, way beyond what I expected. I am really having a lot of respect for 4Pockets. I liked the apps they created for iOS several years ago, but this series of plugins is turning out to be amazing. I was skeptical because of how many they released in a short period, but they are all very good and well worth buying. This drum app really takes the cake. The really unexpected thing is how solid the apps are, meaning relatively bug free. I hate buying an app that seems good and ends up being not worth it because of it having so many bugs. 4Pockets myst have a very intense management that don't allow releases until thoroughly tested. Thanks and kudos to 4Pockets. I am curious where there got a name like 4Pockets..Version: 1.01
✓ Best drum machine app on iOSThis is most definately the best drum machine app on iOS and so easy to use. The only thing that would make it better is if I could switch to controlling different drums on different midi channels, just linked to an incoming note or chord as a trigger. That way I can play rhythm patterns live from the bass side of my accordion assigning different drums to single bass notes on one channel and chords on another. Ie if I hit a single bass note on say channel 2 it sounds one drum and if I hit a bass chord on channel 3 it sounds another drum or drums. There is hardware that will do this but it costs hundreds of pounds and I’m sure a man of your genius could put a switch in to do this Paul. Who knows it might even open up a complete new untapped customer base for this most excellent app..Version: 1.23

✓ Love this app , one requestThis is my favorite auv3 app so far for sequencing drums. Works great standalone and in a daw. Many options and it’s simple to sample your own sounds. ✓ Almost perfect, I have a wish list...This is great value, and has a ton of great features to bring your drum patterns to life. After using it for a while, I can’t help but wish there were a few simple improvements and new features that would make this easily the best drum app on the market... 1. Double click on any parameter to reset to default, whether it’s the mixer, effects controllers, anything. This is becoming standard in apps now, and it really stands out that you can’t do this here. Especially as a lot of the controls are small and it’s fiddly to get them back to their original setting. 2. Add an endlessly randomising function, so that with every loop of the pattern, the selected drums randomise again. This is a game changer for me, and would create endlessly humanising and moving elements to a pattern. Just one little button could change this app into something extremely powerful (Patterning and Playbeat have this function) 3. Add chorus send for individual instruments (like you’ve done with reverb and delay send) 4. EQ per instrument would be amazing! 5. Sample splicing and assign, so that you can take a drum loop sample, break it up and assign to pads without having to do each sample individually from scratch each time. 6. Add a fill button, and assign a pattern. So you hit that button, it plays the fill and immediately returns to the last pattern again. 7. Pattern switch sync mode. So that when you change patterns, it waits until the end of the pattern before switching. At the moment, it interrupts the current pattern causing messy changes. This is more of a performance mode, but still - fantastic to have. 8. Song record mode. Allows you to record manual pattern changes and build up a song that way... much more of a performance based way of creating a song, rather than programming. A lot of these I can do with the help of other apps, leaving Digistix to handle the guts of a drum pattern. But with these features, I think Digistix could do it all. Lots of new ideas there from a fan of this app! Thanks.Version: 1.23
✓ Great app very flexibleLove the app has practically everything you need for creating your own beats and drum kits. There are a couple of workflow road blocks that need improving. .1 Drumkit Wave form window should reflect the last pad tap and Change for every other pad tap. .2 Audio Editor: when using Select tool, taping PLAY should play the selected area and not the entire sample. This important when editing and cropping to ensure we get a good start end for playback and crop..Version: 1.17

A couple of features would make this app tops...an undo button and a play/record buttons where the pads are. Also, having your last state saved after closing the app would be nice...the app deletes everything after being closed, so make sure you save your beat before closing! ✓ Really cool throwback Workstation style drum creatorIt has the workflow reminiscent of getting drums out of old workstation keyboards of 25 years ago before desktop DAWs became king, but armed with a tonne of cool new features. If that isn’t enough, check out the creators videos showing how to integrate them with his other apps and you’ll be a happy owner of DigiStix soon enough. ✓ Finally Good Drums for Garage BandI’m about 30 minute into this app. I always felt Garage Band drums just sucked. Maybe I don’t understand how to use them properly. This app makes it easy to get good samples and adjust their volume with its mixer. Finally I can work on some good sounding drums within GB. Hardest thing to figure out was. ✓ Great valueAn inexpensive multi sampler for my phone? Wow! Really enjoying making layered instruments from found sound recordings and when paired with Velocity Pad i can have dynamics that rival an acoustic instrument in my pocket. Just one little weird problem maybe you can help me understand. When loaded as an audio unit and connected to a roli lightpad the samples trigger in reverse. I have tried 3 auv3 hosts and used every midi filter in AUM to no avail. I tried another Bluetooth midi controller and it was normal Also if i run the app in stand-alone mode the problem is gone. ✓ Perfect drum app for the Auv3 communityThis app keeps getting better with every update. I just have one request it’s fairly simple but I’m not if it’s going to happen. I need an attack knob (ADSR) I know there’s a decay knob but no attack knob. The work around would be in audio editing which is to fade in the audio this can be a little annoying sometimes. So please if it’s possible can we get a basic (ADSR) or should I say (A=attack knob).Version: 1.22
